Small tip for any1 new to nobu, you can do 2 option selects, her normal zone, or if u hold down on left joystick, you can do viper's retreat which is much faster than the zone
Use Nobu dodge attacks *after* you’ve dodged! The dodge light has no dodge frames and the heavy has so little that you’re better off just using it the same way :-)
I honestly think a lot of ppl simply doesn’t know her heavy finisher can track. As Nobushi main her chains can be scary only bc the opponents try to dodge everything, otherwise the good players I fought would stood their ground and wait for the follow-ups which force me to play extra safe, not to mention her neutral game is still the same.
My is 70. I actually came back to this game just because they finally gave her new combo. It’s not too powerful but when it catches ppl of guard is kinda fun. I’m kinda happy now there are ppl complaining but I think it’ll died out soon because the strategy to play against her is still the same.

4:46 Nobu's dodge attacks aren't normal dodges. You have to delay the input for the light/heavy to actually make it dodge. It's almost close to orchi's dash+delayed light timing
Not sure if I'm really qualified to give you advice but with the dodge heavies and lights I always try to go at around deflect timing for heavy attacks. For bashes and light attacks I find that anticipating them rather than dodging on reaction is more reliable.

Now nobushi is the most broken hero of the game, the best thing you can do to stop light spam is dodging and use lights, only if you are lucky, because now has undodgeable heavies

You can actually dodge attacks with the dodge frames and then follow up with a side winder or cobra strike, it just has a lot less distance and a much smaller window to perform the attack.
Remember when they nerfed pk's buffed dmg but nobu has 35 heavies, the soft feint into heavy literally makes your character snap into the animation and is really fast, remember when the said that the warden unblockable dmg is too high (35). Thanks ubi, can't wait for the next pk buff in 2 years

PK isn't THAT bad. At least not as bad as many people made her out to be. I'm sitting with a rep 32 PK, and 15 of those were from before her rework.

A lot of people panic dodge whenever you do anything in hidden stance. Use the undodgeable more to scare them into staying still, like shaolin.

About nobu, I think her dodge heavy is better than dodge light. You can punish those bashes as well as chain into the kick.
My favorite thing as nobu is doing a cobra strike straight into anyone with a dashing forward heavy like warden and warmonger

THe dodge is almost a deflect. Dodge towards the attack to have the proper dodge property. But more or less her dodge attacks are to chain attacks
