I'd really like a storyline where the covenant met the locust and what events might happen if they united
Someone did do that but with the banished,were myrrah tricked atriox by trading infected drones for banished weapons
I think if we limited the covenant to not have space travel the locust would probably win
The second the covenant finds human DNA in the locust then the hoard will be exterminated alongside the rest of humanity on sera
Imagine a Warden in some Chieftain armor
Just gonna say, Vadamee's shields are powerful against kinetic weapons where as Raams krill are weak to fire, light, and therefore bright shining plasma, I doubt Vadamee's shields would break before Raam died
I really appreciate that you didn’t just determine who would be the winner but also went out of your way to create how the scenario would play out as well as the “what if” you added at the end (which I would love to see more of)
If raam somehow caught the arbiter off guard :

I think while speed is important and Raam is slower, Raam isn't as slow as you make him out to be, He mostly walks slow on purpose as he feels no need to walk any faster, Raam running is actually extremely fast as shown in Raam's shadow campaign in gears of war 3 where if you hold B he does a ram charge with his blade where he is (Or appears to be) twice if not three times faster than a cog gear which are humans with peak physical conditioning (Because you don't send obese soldiers to the front lines do you...) And since the cog are generally suppose to be an elite military force altogether winning wars even before emergence day its safe to assume even normal cog soldiers have impressive physical stats and probably being as fast as the average runner or athlete, And Raam is overall bigger I think while the energy sword is better than raams blade raam could find a way to avoid being hit in a vital spot and then grab the arbiter of who I don't remember the name of and then break his neck.
Arbiter's Energy Sword could pierce right through RAAM's armour and the Energy Sword would cause fatal damage from the inside as well. He also has shields and active camouflage. The Sangheili would beat the Locust in most occasions especially if they could beat Jiralhanae. I'd say Arbiter definitely wins this one. An interesting scenario would be the Flood vs the Lambent.
I think that one goes to the flood. Lambent are shown to only really be created with prolonged exposure to immulsion, whereas the flood can use any biomass they come across to grow stronger. That plus I believe that the flood are much smarter than the lambent if they are able to establish a gravemind, definitely smarter if they’re able to get anything larger. Flood almost definitely wins
What about if you take all that away from him is he still powerful? Idk to much about halo
@@xBodiezz Elites are their given nickname by the UNSC for a reason. They can throw Spartans (in their armour) around like it’s nothing. Super agile and relentless even in their origins before the Covenant. I’d say they could definitely take on Locust hand to hand but the Locust would still packs a punch and we know how ruthless RAAM can be as well.
@@JumpersYTactually I wouldn’t be so confident. Elites are definitely strong, much stronger than humans, but I don’t think they are quite able to match up to the locusts strength, and RAAM is definitely much stronger than the average drone. I think the fight would come down to whether or not the arbiter would be able to use his superiority agility to put maneuver RAAM.
Oh and side note it’s also worthy to point out that Locusts have VERY tough skin that makes fighting them with hand to hand combat very difficult.
Marcus and Dom managed to take down RAAM using their weapons and tactics. Arbiter also has incredible weapons and tactics as well as being much faster and stronger than COGs and would be able to chip away and damage him. RAAM's only win would come with cornering him which would be tough and Arbiter would know to stay well away.
I'm a huge nerd for Halo, I grew up on it. This was a cool idea! Also I love Killer Instinct, classic arcade game!

The Arbiter is so flexible in his tactics that Locke had deemed him a high value asset and a priority target to dispose of. When it comes to General Raam the arbiter has faced bigger and worse in the form of Brute war chieftains, wielding plasma cannons that fire the stuff at the rate of fire of a machine gun. Ultimately what sets Raam apart is his sheer intellect, he cannot be easily fooled or goaded into responding emotionally. but that may also make him predictable.
Ultimately, they're both vastly experienced yes but there's a point where experience gives diminishing returns, it all comes down to weaponry, physical ability and deployment of tactics, and we all know how the Locust react to severe application of heat via Hammer of Dawn, no reason to assume a plasma rifle cannot obliterate Raam.
The deck is massively stacked in Arby's favor.
General Raam if had a united Locust horde with all resources including Rift Worms sound like he would be able to give a good campaign warfare to a Planetary Ork WAAGH in the hundred millions.
I wonder if he could defeat a large Warboss.

The Locust becoming a member species could potentially cause a civil war amongst tye other species and the Kantus, as I believe they’d be forced to adopt the Great Journey and forfeit the Trinity of warms, causing a civil war between “True believers” and those who just want humanity dead. A locust Great Schism if you will, as well as the Savage Locust perhaps appearing sooner and before the sinking of Nexus.

Elites, Brutes, and Locusts vs Orks would be a interesting war. I think the Covenant would have a better time locating and purging Ork spores in isolated areas better then the Imperium of Man would. Thanks to their organization structure and capabilities.
Covenant glassing though not as powerful as the Imperium of Man's planet killing weapons can serve for better specialize roles without damaging the structure of a world and all it's resources.
Though in close combat Orks would be a true test to these guy's abilities in might and skill to fight off.

I'd imagine if gears and halo shared a universe and the covenant found earth and your what if scenario happened would the san shiume invite the locust to join the covenant? they already don't want humanity to join the covenant so it suits the locust's cause just fine to have more allies they might even ask the covenant for help both with humanity and curing lambency

I think the Arbiter wins his Tech is far more advanced his Energy Sword could easily cut RAAM down his armor wouldn’t do anything actually I don’t think his armor would do much against Plasma while the Arbiter’s recharging energy shields would keep him safe and Halo energy shields are better at blocking kinetic attacks so RAAM’s weapons would have a harder time harming Arbiter
I got a $50 gift card and when searching for RAAM's Shadow I found General RAAM was a character in Killer Instinct as well as the Arbiter
Has no one made a fan comic of a rogue covenant ship landing on an unknown planet named Sera? I feel like that exists somewhere. I do think arbiter would win tho unless the krill are involved. Elites are supposed to be close to less than par with Spartans n Spartans kinda destroy anything in the gears universe in my opinion

I would like to see General RAAM vs Atriox. They seem to both be of the same war-bred stock. Giant warriors on the battlefield and very competent commanders.

@@andrei3436 in melee combat i could also see Atriox win. But he would need General RAAM within his reach. And he has plenty of obstacles to overcome until he can reach him. General RAAM is not lacking in arsenal or skill.

This is really good, there is a video where gears of war was in the halo universe,the locust won and was rebuilding the surface, when the banished appeared,after myrrah and atriox spoke about hating humans they made a deal to trade troops but myrrah tricked atriox by trading infected locust

Okay hear me out, how about the unsc discovers the planet of Sera and tries to colonize the planet because they discovered the sweet Miracle Juice, and the cog have to defend the planet, no spartans, it's the unsc marines vs the cog army, centars vs scorpions, ODST vs onyx guards, king ravens vs pelicans, Battle rifles vs the chainsaw lancers, could the light mass missiles bring down a heavy class Cruiser, my friends and I had been trying to work on a fan made lore about this crossover war, what do you guys think? Would it be a short war or a long drawn out war? But again What do you guys think?

I always make comments that 343 reduced the Elites into the Locust drones seeing how brutish they’ve become in 4 & 5
I honestly believe the Arbiter is equal or at least close to equal to Raam in terms of strenght (he is an Elite which are said to be physical stronger than spartans, can match against brutes who can throw vehicles like tanks and cars, and in gameplay we can flip any vehicle with ease, which could be an example of his strenght).

havent seen any feats of elites blowing up entire walls with their hands and throwing cars like raam did. Arby easily takes skill and agility tho
What if the planet of Sere was the list colony of Warhammer 40k and during the great crusade they became intergrade into the Imperium of man
The Locust joining the Covenant would make the Brutes redundant and that would make the civil war more interesthing.

Hey @King Abz it's been a while, if your looking at a shortage of gears of war content might I recommend digging into lore from other games like for example halo, I've played a lot of games which I can recommend you look into if you want to possibly expand your lore library or however you want to phrase it.

@KingAbzTV it seems there aren't a whole lot of games with stories and lore as big as gears of war or halo but there are some out there like fallout and the elder scrolls but it really depends, are you looking for games that have a big story or a S*** ton of lore to them or does it matter?

This truly becomes a test of can blazing speed and agility beat raw strength and durability, general raam can shrug off gnashed shotgun rounds at point blank range. If we assume the energy sword can pierce his armor then yes he looses.

That is unless the USNC and the COG also made an alliance and shared Intel and Technology. We may have squads, units, or potentially even a battalion's worth of Spartan Gears. Imagine an Onyx Spartan... Oh wait we don't really have to because the closest thing to one in Halo would be Noble-6

Can Thel Vadamee really handle RAAM? Since the height and strength difference and the Heavy Machine Gun can do enough damage to Vadamee's energy shields but Thel is faster and more agile.

I believe Raam would have to trump up his blood lust if he wants to win these types of fights… even brute minors would almost be equal to or greater than RAAM’s strength…
I would even go one step further & say that if the Arbiter manages to lose his plasma grenades & sword it’s gg’s RAAM would definitely win. Because the elite has no way of really damaging our general.
For me, Arbiter gets the dub, based on speed and technology!

Love your videos Abz! If you ever got into Cyberpunk, Id love to see a Gears of war and Cyberpunk crossover on who would win between RAAM and Adam Smasher. Or Arbiter vs Nemesis from Resident evil. Either way id be interested in seeing it

I think I can see Arbiter winning a high difficult fight, but I think there's other speed feats for RAAM. He might be equal to Prime Marcus and Dom considering RAAM himself had to fight them, but as they went on in the series Marcus could also react to Skorge, Myrrahs tempest, and even the DB droids in his old age. What makes them impressive is that DBs fire embar railguns that travel at hypersonic speeds and Myrrahs tempest being able to shoot intense light that Marcus and delta squad had to react to in order to get a fix on Myrrah with the hammer of dawn. Not to mention jumping off a cliff in his armor, and slicing up lambent right in front of him. The arbiter and the spartans are no slouch, though I think it's safe to say that a serious RAAM could react and cut down Arbiter with the Kryll and his troika in a ranged battle. Dont get me wrong, I love both Halo and GOW, and I know they aren't the strongest, but I do believe that Gears of war universe is stronger than people think it out to be

Underestimating the krill is crazy. The arbiter cannot simply just throw a grenade at them 😂. The krill would be on him faster than he can react. Also going invisible wouldn’t do anything as they have incredible senses. I don’t see it going any other way than Raam just destroying the arbiter once the krill are dismantling him.
What wish to see in gears 6 would be Motion capture. It makes the games more immersive and raam on my opinion look heavily more intimidating on gears of war UE because of the motion capture.
I knew that the Arbiter would be the winner of this battle just like I predicted in my comment from your post.
The only thing that won't make sense is the alliance between the two because they're in different wars, the Locust waged war on humanity because of the implosion epidemic and the Covenant waged war on humanity as a culture war.
The alliance would not happen.
