I can’t wrap my head around the fact that he’s able to keep up with a conversation so well while simply breezing through a game while doing frame perfect inputs, if I’m even thinking a little bit while playing a game, I struggle talking. Speedrunners are just built different, man
If you've beaten the same levels this many times, it becomes pure muscle memory, which frees up some other parts of your brain for talking... though too much of it is still going to be distracting.
Probably my favorite aspect of this showcase is that Glock will just do his thing and destroy the level and someone on the couch will be like "wow, that was cool"
Monkey Ball speedruns are hands down some of the best to watch. Few games come close to the amount of skips, frame perfect tricks, and sheer audacity of just sending it.

So just found out about the Tetris effect and found out I wasn’t insane turns out minus Tetris I’ve also had it with origami and weirdly falling infinitely front flipping down stairs (idky that I had that one)
