If the parents use Mexican identification, the birth certificate should state they are Mexican nationals at birth. Same with any other country. If their parents get legal status, the kids will automatically get it.

A ruling in the supreme court against a chinese child states that for a child to be considered a American citizen the childs parents must be in this country legally. If a person was here illegally they are then to take citizenship of their mother.

According to the constitution. All person's born in the United States are US citizens.. regardless. Too bad though because someone breaking into a country shouldn't be rewarded by it. It should be.. anyone born in the US is a citizen provided that they were born to at least one parent that is an us citizen period. Those on work visas and turist visas and those here on "TEMPORARY" once again... It's not called permanent it's called "TEMPORARY" protection... They all need to take their baggage back with them when they leave. Including their kids.
