    That building is definitely old, funny how these clay structures of over 100years old are still standing strong in places like ibadan and ife while buildings built with cement keep collapsing every year.

      I'd like to think our older buildings are built with a certain ase, like a good meal.

    I was like, "that must be his people because he looks just like Oduduwa"! This was a beautiful video to watch with family. And that word he gave at the end! I'm definitely sharing this video in a post to my Subs

      He is not a professional tour guide. They usually don't have training as tour guide.

    8:27 Emese is like secrete service guys protecting US presidents. they are the trusted security that also live in and around the palace. This tour guide interpretation is not accurate but not bad.

    Not until you visit Benin Kingdom Nigeria a lot of misconceptions will reign supreme.

    • @Searchforuhuru
      @Searchforuhuru  5 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Benin Kingdom originates from Ife

      Is that what they told you in Ife? If you don't know the Benin Kingdom side of the story you don't have the full picture.

    • @Isiejeme0829
      @Isiejeme0829 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      When next you visit them ask who Oduduwa was and where he originated from. Like I already said, not until you visit the ancient Benin kingdom (at one time an empire) you will not know the truth.

      @@Searchforuhuru my brother benin first king is the fifth ooni of ife, any benin king that dies, is always buried in ile ife because they recognise ile ife as there original home. The commentor that just commented now is from benin, and there father as poisoned there mind about fake history. Go to oba of benin and ask him who ooni his to him. ooni is the father of all yoruba kings including benin

      That why in the olden day, it's the only ooni that rules as a governor, no other monarch rules as governor in nigeria. You can confirm it on internet. In nigeria today it's only ooni of ife and sultan of sokoto that remains the permanent chairman of traditional rulers in nigeria. You can also confirm that on internet. Thanks

    Dynast do you believe that man really decend from heaven? But you mad when Igbos claim to have migranted from Israel

    • @michaelsmith-ht2jy
      @michaelsmith-ht2jy 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      We did .... heaven is the source of odudua and all creation .... the creator .... heaven is a fancy way of saying the original source ....... Anago people know themselves (reject the Yoruba title).... igbo please reject Israel... they are not your people .... you are us, we are one ..... Igbo and all Africans are one ...... the Europeans and Arabs will accept you and then stab you in the back as they have done before .... history will repeat itself if you don’t take hold of your culture ....... if ife spirituality was not around ... I would go to Akan or vodun.... as close to the source as possible

      I am sure if you read in the Bible that someone descended from heaven, you will believe it. Likewise, our Ifa tell us there was period in the ancient of days that beings lived between the earth and the heavens. Where do you think Yorubas got the 401 Irumoles (Orisas) from? Rather than be busy disproving other people's history, why not go create or discover yours. Or does Yoruba people history make you feel insecure?

    • @aghonelego2379

      first ibo need to figure out where in the south east they spring from. and is not just about ibo. Africans should be careful where they attach themselves because you have no clue to back it up.
