    So glad you’re reviewing this I’ve been looking into this for another serum to use at night for my dry dehydrated skin

      Another serum that I absolutely love is the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Hydrating Serum, super light gel texture, absorbs quickly, and layers well.

    Thanks for the review, love you Chanel. Just purchased this product and seeing good results, just very pricey like you say. I was wondering why this product doesn’t contain retinol like most anti ageing products do now a days. Is it because retinol can cause irritation? Would love you hear from you. Becca x

    Hello, would you prefer this over the capsules?! As a treatment?!

  • @jenlauren143
    @jenlauren143 4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    Yea see once I realized about these ingredients I know that lavender oil, Linolool and linonene are fragrance and can ruin someone’s skin. I also don’t like the very first ingredient being a preservative as ppl can be allergic and have reactions to them ect honestly if it wasn’t 80$ I wouldn’t be as worried but since it is almost 100$ I would expect more. Thanks for reviewing for us! You’re the best Sarah! 😍💜❤️☺️

      I agree with you, this should be much more affordable. This could have been so much better with a couple small changes. You'd think EL would be on the front of newer, more effective ingredients. They've got so much resources to do testing and find the most upcoming effective new ingredients.

      @jenlauren143 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No BS Beauty absolutely that’s exactly my point. I think in this day and age fragrance have no functionality in skincare. I just don’t understand and these sensitizing ingredients are what initially ruined my skin in the first place. Yes I know what I can’t use on my skin and it’s my responsibility but why not be all inclusive for sensitive skin and everyone else? Just sad 😔

    I can think of a lot of products that I would rather spend $80 on, although it does sound nice:)) One of your goodies came today and two more have shipped. They’re rolling in. Slowly but surely, lol. Great review!
    Thanks, beeeautiful🍃🌸

    Hi I know this was a long time ago, but I haven't been able to find answers anywhere, so please can anyone help: does the pump screw off on this? I want to use it for the regular serum because I like a pump much better!

      You'll have to let me know how you like it, if you have dry skin I'd apply your favorite moisturizer a few minutes after the Estee Lauder serum.

      No BS Beauty hello darling im back. I love this product and I apply it every night after the ANR serum. It makes my skin firm and minimize all my pores, giving me a more glowing look.

      This is a great Serum to help skin, I also overlook the Fragrance because it really helps firm skin and soften the look of fine lines.

  • @clintparsons3989

    So, question: if you use this product immediately after applying ANR, how is that fundamentally any different than mixing the two in your palm and applying. Your face surface is in, effect, acting the same as the surface of your palm.
    I've always wondered this in regards to using any product immediately after applying another product.

    • @NOBSBeauty
      @NOBSBeauty  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Very interesting, I wonder about this sometimes at night when I'm doing my routine. I think if you apply something before the first product doesn't fully absorb it isn't much different than mixing the two before you apply it. I think it's more important to be aware of this when you are applying products that require a specific pH (like Vitamin c) to properly function make sure it absorbs fully before applying the next product.

    Can I suggest you to compare the Estee Lauder ANR vs Missha Time Revolution Probio Ampoule. The texture pretty similar, only that the Missha one is more hydrating.

    Agree with the fragrance being unnecessary, even in many popular k beauty brands (my skin reacts badly almost instantly to those). It just went ahead and ruined the whole product.
    That being said I got mine as a free full bottle offer for purchasing a 30ml ANR which is pretty worth it. I quite like the texture (not so much the fragrance) and only used on extremely parched and tired skin which it hydrates almost immediately.

    • @NOBSBeauty
      @NOBSBeauty  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It is a pretty good product- lots of good ingredients, no fragrance, works pretty nicely for most skin types!

  • @cjreynoso

    I dont think this is meant to be used every single night. What I've been hearing everywhere is that you use it as needed for sensitized/retinol irritated skin. Do the instructions say otherwise?

    • @NOBSBeauty
      @NOBSBeauty  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The instructions on the bottle just say to use nightly after the Advanced Night Repair Serum. I'm using it every other night, seems to work okay that way, but I could definitely see just adding it into your routine if you've overdone it with Exfoliants/Retinol, etc.

    I got some of this super cheap on eBay (gotta love eBay!) And I tried it tonight for the first time, and I know it's a repair treatment but I don't feel like I need a moisturizer after. It feels so creamy on my skin, maybe I used too much but just wondering if anyone found it better with or without moisturizer? I do have dry/combo skin but its feeling very hydrated after just one serum and this on top.

    the reset is when skin is acting up and being irritated,say too much sun one day...also it claims to neutralize damage to the cells and remove the debris..this is something to use if you dont want to look 10 years older in 10 years

    • @NOBSBeauty
      @NOBSBeauty  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hopefully it works 🤞🤞 I guess I'll know in ten years! 😁 Definitely could use it after the summer. I can never apply enough sunscreen to fully combat the UV rays.

    They add fragrance to mask the smell of the ingredients. Not to make it smell strong. That’s why they bother.

    • @fbiagentfrank
      @fbiagentfrank 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think most people would rather have the natural fragrance of the ingredients over sensitized skin though.

    Why brands (not all of them) add silicones to SKINCARE, is beyond me. ??? Great video Sarah. (even though I won’t be purchasing this)

      @@NOBSBeauty I am thinking either the fragrance or resveratrol because my skin was not happy with The Ordinary's resveratrol serum either.

    • @NOBSBeauty
      @NOBSBeauty  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Interesting, I'm sure that there are a lot of people that are sensitive to resveratrol, it's a pretty strong antioxidant so you just never know until you try it out.

    Estee Lauder company is like the head mafia in the cosmetic game they own almost everyone aside from that there skincare line is overpriced and very irritating for my skin and I am not sensitive skin at all there formulations are just not very good for there price , although there double wear foundation and pressed powders are pretty amazing for oily skin if you can find your color there make up is better than there skincare but they do test on animals so they loose a lot of points there 🤷🏽‍♂️ FYI estee isn’t budging on the cruelty free movement

    • @NOBSBeauty

      Oh that’s sad but don’t worry they’d go away , you’re beautiful anyway . Just be a bit easy on your blush and apply corrector , then concealer and then foundation if you want to blend them in . 🙂
