    The way Hercules addressed Eric Wynalda’s comments makes me have a ton of respect for him. Total class!

    Herc is the best. Loved him as a player and he's even better on TV.

    Herc could have addressed the racism more directly for all of us who don't have the power to do it.
    Be more direct like world football.
    And I appreciate everything you already do as an analyst and person.

    Eric Ronald McDonald Wynolda...sometimes tech errors leading to typos are the best.

    I'm old enough to remember when the USWNT got absolutely hammered for the hire of Vlatko cause he was really well liked after they crashed out. The men deserve the same S and maybe more because they haven't achieved a lick.

    👏 👏 👏 you're top class Hercules. I'm glad you're part of MiB and a fantastic journalist for the USMNT & Mexican soccer!

    I vividly remember trolling JJ about Venezuela beating the US in the 2017 u20 World Cup, and funnily enough three of the 11 starters of that team are starters in our current setup. Funny how that works(the one that got 9 points in the group stage and is currently one win away from a semi final)

    Finally Herc on the pod!!!!!!! Futbooooolllll Americas!!!!!! 🔥🔥🔥 Seb Salazar next. Futbol Americas is one of the only shows that really critiques US Soccer objectively and asks for accountability from US Soccer brass, players, and managers. Great guest Andrew and JJ.

    Thoughts on Wynalda:
    Herc: “I wish him well”
    This is why we love herc lol
    Wynalda is clearly jaded as fuck. He’s still bitter about failing as a USL coach. This is why Herc is a total professional in the media landscape because I couldn’t possibly not take Wynaldas bait and get involved in some bullshit internet drama

      I’ve listened to Wynalda a lot on SiriusXM FC, he can be quite insightful, but also occasionally just goes off half cocked and says some wild ish. Herc wasn’t kidding about Eric burning just about every bridge in his post-playing career. “I didn’t have the career he did, but he doesn’t have the career I do now.” 🥶

      @@ChrisK056Yeah, I respect Wynalda as a player. But he can be a real dick and seems to rub everyone the wrong way. He’s an interesting interview, but he doesn’t have the demeanor to lead people.

    Can we make another Caught Offside Plus fund to get JJ a new camera setup? 🙂 just teasing! (I would actually pitch in though!)

    It's not like Klopp is going to have to be out of his house everyday for work like it would be if he was managing a club. It's honestly no where near as demanding in that regard. So no I don't think his wife would have a problem with it. If anything I think she'd prefer he get a national team job vs another club one.

    • @JrPeople64
      @JrPeople64 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@benoitwaffle5439 Well currently Tuchel is not employed. That is one. Second, he has worked with a couple of players that are in the squad; i.e. Pulisic. Third, I think is style of football can work for the USMNT

    • @benoitwaffle5439
      @benoitwaffle5439 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@JrPeople64 He has recently had jobs at Dortmund, Chelsea, PSG, and Bayern. He has been making $10 million per year for a while now. Berhalter has a base salary of less than $2 million. He isn't taking that kind of pay cut for a job that isn't likely to help his reputation. He might not have a job now, but he will be on the short list for any big money gig that comes open.

    Pulisic's best tally in a Premier League season is 9 goals, 2 assists and that's USA's head and shoulders most decorated European player of all time. LMAO OVERRATED.

      He was never given a chance at Chelsea. He scored the goal, that got Chelsea, to the Champions league final. Even though he played well in the semi final, the coached benched him for the final.

    I will give you the same recommendation I am giving to all the talking Pundits/heads show: GET THE MLS OWNERS TO PONY UP $100,000 per franchise to pay for a top quality manager and bypass the sponsors and the Federations financial restrictions. THIS IS SUCH A SIMPLE SOLUTION I CANNOT BELIEVE NO ONE HAS COME UP WITH IT! If 2026 is a failure they, as owners, are permanently fixed as the 5th biggest league fighting the WNBA for a peanuts TV contact for the foreseeable future if not forever! I am disappointed in your approach to to this whole GB fiasco. Been following religiously since 1989 watching the T&T miracle with my 2 Italian & Argentinian roommates . I will be dead before the USA hosts another WC. 2026 is it. USE YOUR PLATFORMS TO STOP COMPLAINING AND GIVE ACTUAL IDEAS!!!
