Well the only materials I'd recommend you to use for now is your UI post utme past questions, that's if you've taken JAMB already.
And probably your textbooks if need be. I believe the major hurdle is post utme. Once you've crossed that, I can recommend other texts. So let post utme be your focus for now.
About the exam and registration...
Registration is really nothing to worry about. It's stressful but fun kind of. You'd get the hang of it.
The exam... Well, the last UI post utme exam was very different. I've written like twice and I'd say the former was way easier than the latter. And I believe many of us can attest to this.
So this is not to scare you though, it's just to leave your heart prepared that anything can happen. The pattern used before might not be the same used later. So you really have to work hard. And commit it to God too. Because to be honest, it's just God's Grace.

Yes you can use your o level textbooks... But that's when you probably don't understand a particular topic in the past question. So you can read it up in the textbook and then come back to your past question. You'd realize you'd have a better understanding, and studying becomes a bit fun.
You can also make research on the internet too, to expand your knowledge.

The struggle between two good choice's real😢
I'm so confused that i can't even hear God speak.
I know how this feels like, my dear. In fact right now, I'm stuck in between two options: hostel or off campus. Kept praying and it felt like God wasn't answering. But I was reminded of this phase in my life too. I prayed, I didn't really get an answer but here I am doing what God will have me do.
The thing is many times it may not really sound clear but when you pray, just trust that He has heard you and He will lead you. Whatever decision you eventually make, if it is not of God, He'll pull you out of it and put you back on track. Just trust He has heard and that He will lead you. And you'll see all odds work in the favour of a particular option.
I still don't know where I'm going to stay this new session, but I know wherever I end up, is where He would have me be. Because He promised that when I acknowledge Him in all my ways, He will direct my paths. (Proverbs 3:6)

Hiiiiiii.... So sorry I'm responding late. Haven't been here in quite a while. UI accepts Government as an art subject, but I'm not sure of Economics.
Here's the subject combination I'm sure of:
English, Government, CRS and Literature.
Did u actually change it because of the cut off mark or u just found yourself in it?

Well my dear, to be honest, I was really considering the cut off mark, but then, that wasn't the major reason I changed. I finally made up my mind to go for CLA because I felt I'd do better in it, since it includes most of my already acquired skills and passions.
But then there I was caught up in between my childhood dream and my present interest.
I'd just say it was difficult for me to let go of Law so I was just indecisive at that moment.
But when my admission clicked and I saw CLA, I was then certain that it was what God wanted for me all along. So I gladly accepted it. And here I am, falling deeper in love with my course as the days goes by🥰🥰🥰

Back in my time, it was either 60 or 61. But I think it's 62 now though.
It just depends on the scores for aspiring CLA students that year. So it may reduce or increase, depending on the scores of students in that year.
