I was almost sold on it until you said it has no motion detection. Other camera companies need to come out with IP doorbell cams also. Great idea.

@@yahyamhirsi mine has motion detection and SD car slot in the monitor, I think my issue is because my internet supplier suddenly stopped using 2.4Ghz and didn't tell customers so internet things like my electric gate, bulbs etc sometimes act up, I have a sound issue when someone calls using the bell, works fine when I'm local but 5Ghz ismts so good for longer distance

It's a cheap budget camera boor bell, with some half decent features, but the only aspect that drives me crazy, is the Chineseum Gameboy-like annoying ringtones.

good afternoon friend I'm installing a video intercom of this one you're making a video of it I'm having problems with mine it was connected and configured I call the doorbell everything ok now we went to turn it on in the place and it doesn't show the image anymore when the bell rings as if his camera was disabled.

Bought one of these for my new house, 3 years ago. Worst investment ever. Half the features don't work on it. Video recording is so laggy, wifi on the tablet stopped working about 2 months in, so I had to wire a dedicated ethernet cable to it. Two way audio quality is so bad, you can't understand anything. And half the time someone rings my doorbell, a notification doesn't even come through to my phone.
Definitely don't buy this

It looks a little more complicated than the old one, I noticed it when you talk and take your finger off the microphone it stays where they can hear you or does that automatically shut off where you can only hear them like in the old version?

This product has motion detection, and you can view remotely from anywhere over the internet, you can also view recorded file saved in SD card, but the recorded file only could be downloaded from the computer, not from mobile APP. Meanwhile, the firmware of this product is upgraded, it is greater than before.

Install it at eye level height for the user.

Yes, a wall outlet provides much more than that depending on where you live, you need the transformer to step down the voltage.

It works perfect so far and integrates perfectly with my blink camera system. It also works seamlessly with Alexa

Just a question, if you are not home and someone is at your doorbell, does the Mobile app let you answer / récord etc or does it only works when its connected to the same wifi?
After the initial setup, the doorbell will notify you outside of your home. I have tested this while I was at work (away from home). The recording happens when someone pushes the doorbell and it's recorded to the memory card. But you can only view it by putting the memory card in a a computer. You can't stream it to your phone. You can view the live video and start a recording on your phone and that saves onto your phones memory.

It is better to use 32GB memory card, and when the memory card is recorded fully, the data will be overwritten automatically.

Yes you can view it anywhere outside of your home. I still use it. TMEZON will be coming out with an updated one which I will be testing soon. Stay tuned.

On Amazon, this stood out the most from all the others. it apparently doesn't have great reviews. Well, to each, it's own! I have 3 questions???
1. Is it recording all day or motion activated?
2. I want to put a monitor in my family room, which is the last room in the back of the house. We spend most of our time in their so it makes sense to have a monitor In that room. My question is, how the heck do u run the wires? I'm no electrician by any means. Kinda clueless in that field. How does one run wires to a room in the back of the house nicely?
This is really important to me. With all the burglaries happening & my parents are getting older, I need to pull the trigger on something ASAP! My parents aren't Technology savvy, that's why I need the monitor. I also want to put a monitor on the 2nd floor. Any suggestions anybody?
The doorbell system does not record with motion detection. It records when the doorbell is pressed. As to running wire to the back of the house, you need to hire an installer that specializes in home alarm installs to do it. You have to drill through walls and fish the wire throughout the house.

Has anyone managed to integrate this with Google Voice activation to open an door? My speaker tells me someone is calling but I can't seem to get the speaker to activate the lock.
I tried, I have managed to link to my Google account but can't get it to work I think it's because it's named gate but it's in a sub category (home) and I have it as a room.
Not sure if that's how to do it so gave up for now

This unit is trash do not buy the exterior volume is so low and the main unit touchscreen is very slow and buggy.

You only need to connect to internet if you want to view it on the app.

as far as i know the lock ralay/transistors has both functions nc or no contact. It is a hint in the manual , in my manual its the last page. And it need a separate transformer for the lock. the voltage depends on your lock. it ca be an ac or dc source.
