Is it possible to use the screen in stand alone to monitor the live feed of my Hikvision IP cameras without having to buy an outdoor intercom device, since I already have an existing intercom system in place?
I did the exact settings, but the indoor extension monitor does not show outdoor. If the bell rings , both indoor main and extension monitor rings but when I click the camera on the extension monitor it says error 10200 , no video. I rebooted and reset all set up couple of times but still same problem. Any suggestion?
If my only wish is to receive calls from my doorbell and answer/decline them, and have a life view of the person in front of the door right away, and i want to see my cctv cameras, can i just buy a cheap android tablet and use the hikvision app? What’s the extra benefit for me if I buy an indoor station instead of a android tablet? Please help because i really don’t understand.

Does it require to be connected to the same hikvision switch? Or can each indoor monitor be connected to different switches? (Assuming all other switches are PoE capable and are interconnected)

May be because u have different firmware versions in main unit and extension unit, use same firmaware version in both screens
