I love dollar tree disposable shower caps...I have a van and store shoes in a cloth bucket. To prevent shoes from dirtying the bucket and to prevent dirt from falling into shoe below, I use shower caps like shoe covers. They also come in handy if your smoke detector is just above the stove!
I use those fabric bins inside milk crates. We carry the milk crates (best thing is they are NOT curved, so use the most of spaces in our van) because they are very sturdy! We are rockhounders and use the crates to hold the rocks we collect on our trips, and can move them around to keep the weight even, and the fabric bins fit perfectly inside the milk crates to pull out and use for the same type of storage after each day's collecting is done, and then we can sort into the milk crates for each type of specimen. Gives us twice the space each day.
I use the laundry baskets for my drinking water hoses and I also keep one outside our door for shoes so they are not spread all over the place. The small narrow baskets work in my medicine cabinet to keep things organized. I use the flexible round baskets for storing balls, outdoor toys, etc. I use a ton of dollar tree bins, baskets and hooks. I am going to steal your napkin holder hack for my wash clothes and hand towels. Would never have thought of that.
Thanks, great tips here. You mention shelf liner not really best for non-slip, and I agree. Yoga mats from 5 Below are so much better than liner or the typical non slip rolls available everywhere. Corelle and yoga mats for the win in RV kitchen cabs....
@@GratefulGlamper we have an extra shower curtain rod across the shower for hanging clothes (I presume, it was there already, in our borrowed RV!) I have a long one and a few singles for hanging bathing suits and towels! Getting a brand new trailer on SATURDAY! I can't wait
Thank you for this! My go-to store for bins has always been The Container Store, but they're expensive. After losing one of my jobs and now living the vanlife: this helped me a lot! 💛
Thank you for these videos! I just bought a class A RV and I’m scared to death to do it and all of your tips are awesome! You guys need to do one on driving and what to watch out for how to take turns properly blah blah blah
I’m sorry, I am truly not trying to be rude here, but if you do not know how to drive your RV you really need to go take a class or find someone who has been operating a rev of your class and size for lengthy amount of time for instruction and then practice until you are confident that you are not going to hurt yourself or anyone else on the road
Loved your video!!! I currently have every single item you mentioned locked away in a storage unit collecting dust & was thinking how can I utilize them in my RV. Thank you so much from Texas for sharing!!! Subscribing now 😊
Love dollar tree- I try to avoid getting a cart unless I’m getting the larger clothes baskets as I spend too much money there! Question: Does the nano tape come off easily when using with command strips? I believe in a previous video you shared how to re-use nano tape. Thanks for sharing your thoughts! 🖖🏻👍🏻🙏🏻😘
I have used many of this things for my organization.... suggest don't buy the zip ties, they don't last, pay a bit more & get better ones from harbor freight
We are trying to find something we can put on our dinette table to store our plastic utensils, paper plates, paper bowls, paper cups and napkins to free up our drawers and cabinets. Any ideas?

Really great!
Those little bins with the foam inserts are surprisingly heavy duty for $1. Dollar Tree is pretty awesome!
We were pleasantly surprised!
We use the over the door hooks on the outside of our shower cubicle to hang towels.
Great items. One tip.....measure your spaces so the items you buy fit your rig's drawers, cabinets, etc.
Great tip!

As a new RVer, these tips are amazing. I can't wait to try them in my coach. I love the napkin holder idea
👍🏻💙👍🏻
I love, LOVE Dollar Tree. They have everything, all for $1.00. I could spend all day there 💕👍
Me too (Charity)!

Who's watching this at the end of 2022? I am and I love these $1.25 tree 🌳 bargains
The door hangers also hang good on shower curtains! Easy to hang stuff from the shower door/curtain rod too!
Great suggestion!

I am with you on Dollar tree do a lot of shopping there. Like the idea on the napkin holders for towels will have to try that one. Enjoy your travels.
Thanks so much!
I use the large carabiners to carry multiple grocery bags so they don't hurt my hands!
Great idea!
I LOVE that DIY for washcloths using napkin holders. I'm totally going to use that idea. Great video!

It was definitely a challenge at times.

@@GratefulGlamper I am a newbie here. We want to buy another RV when hubby retires. A few years yet. Planning for it,
That Dollar Tree is HUGE!
We found another one in our area that was even LARGER too! 😲
@@GratefulGlamper can you share which one you found that is larger? Also which one is this? Maybe I missed it.

Wow - My local Dollar Tree never looks that nice and organized! : D

@@GratefulGlamper How do you find a mega-Dollar Tree like this? It’s more like a super-Walmart.
Look for the Dollar Trees in the larger shopping areas. They’re always the best!
Excellent hacks 😋👍
I've watched 2 of your organization videos and haven't heard you mention bungee cords. I think that would be a have to have on hand in rv life.
For sure! Thanks for watching and we’re always on the hunt for more organizing hacks!

The dollar tree carabiner clips break after 10 uses
I think it all depends on how much of a load you place them. We’re using several and they’ve been good all summer with what we’ve been using them.
Damn that nice can you do an mini series
We probably could!
Really love your videos, but I can count the times you say "actually"! Keep up the good work though!

How many times does she say 'these type of' ? Lol

A lot 😂
The book holders won’t fit in my cabinet
Oh man, bummer

BTW - ur hair is so shinny. What do u use. U would also look great with bangs.
Thank you! I use doTERRA hair serum after washing. And that’s about it!

It works great. I'll look into getting some myself.

How about a tool type caddy? Plates on the wide side and utensils on the other?
@@GratefulGlamper I will look at that. Thank you
I didn't get the name of the tape you said to use on command hooks?
Nano tape! You can find it on Amazon here: amzn.to/3EgrFEx

wondering how much you end up spending on gas and propane while traveling... it''s soooo expensive right now
Yes it’s more expensive than it used to be. But we RV not because it’s cheap but because we want to invest in experiences and memories.
@@GratefulGlamper I think it's wonderful. Do you attend different church services as you travel?
