John Mayer Solo live puts on a truly magical, special concert. His audience is loving him and every second of it. Somebody is screaming and yelling out at all times. And he is so generous, gracious and accomodating to his audience and fans. Phenomenal. He truly brings it. I love it. Love him
Thanks for posting this. My wife and I were lucky enough to score floor seats at the last minute to celebrate our Anniversary. What a wonderful night. Intimate, great tone and vocals (and we didn't hear all that shrill screaming, thank God!). Just wonderful. We saw him with full band a few years ago but this show was different. The set with the double neck guitar, in particular Edge of Desire, was glorious. Thanks to this post, I've listened to EoD again and again. Each time with a visceral emotional reaction. Just amazing. Life is good.
I had the amazing opurtunity of going to this show and i just have to say, it exeeded my already high expectations. He can accomplish, with one guitar and mic, what artists look for their whole careers. His ability as a performer is unmatched. His energy and the energy in the crowd came together to make it something really special. The intimacy and closeness between him and the crowd is something you dont see everyday. As a guitar player, crazy mayer fan, and a overall appreciater of music in general, it was a night I will never forget and my favorite concert I've ever been to. Thanks John!!!

Went to a few of the chappelle shows in yellow springs that he showed up at and got a soli althea which is one of my favorite dead songs. It was pretty lovely
