The africans? I think you meant to say "the ghanians". With several players being from Europe. I'm wondering as to why they don't win if they play so "unbeliveable" ?Fact is that it is the norm in football/for every football team to pkay fast and skillful. That is what football is all about. There's nothing special or unbeliveable about it. Fact is that most african countries fail at delivering exactly that, thus are not successfull in football or any sport. So I don't really get why you generalize all of Africa because of a few nations like Ghana, Algeria, Nigeria, Ivory Coast and maybe Senegal ad Cambodia who are able to compete with european and south american nations once in a while (while many times their top star players had been educated and coached in Europe before they became that skilful). Just saying and trying to put your comment into context.

After their 2010 travesty I still hope that one day Ghana becomes the first African team to make it to the semi-finals - and even win the World Cup!
We didn't make things right after the 2010 world cup and it cost us in the 2014 and 2018.
We've reliased and rectifying it bit by bit. We've qualified for the 2018 world cup and we're sure going to make it football fans happy

I'm almost sure they would have made it through if they hadn't been so much problems with their football federation. They could've beaten Portugal in the last match, but they braked themselves thanks to internal problems.

Honestly, this was one of the greatest matches of all time. If you saw it live you’d know why I say this. Non-stop attacking from both sides for 90 minutes straight… insane enough match that I’m still watching highlights over a decade later

They played well but lost too many matches to penalties and set pieces. They lost the Afcon in 2015to a penalty shoot out and the same thing fro the world cup. Ghana was just very poor at Defending set pieces.

I had high hopes for this Ghanaian team after their failed attempt to make it into the semis in the previous World Cup. They outplayed the US in game 1, yet screwed up. Then there were reports of internal disputes over pay and Boateng physically assaulting the coach. This team could have went far in this tournament if they had their shit together. Germany only conceded a goal against this squad. The talent and experience were there. Just immaturity did them in.

One highlight they missed was when Jordan Ayew was through and Ghana had a two on one with Ayew and Gyan bearing down on goal. But instead of passing to Gyan, Ayew shot for himself straight at Neuer. That would have been a goal if he passed to Gyan

Ghana, despite all the internal problems they had during that World Cup, were able to bring a serious problem to Germany, almost won the game by not allowing the germans to put their offensive strategy on full display. If Brazil had watched this game, would probably still lose to Germany, but it wouldn’t be such a gargantuan humiliation.
