- レゴ（LEGO）などでクレーン模型を製作されている動画に影響されてknexというブロックで6年ぶりに作りました！
製作期間は約半年ですが、おそらくこんな自由な時間が訪れなければこの作品に出会えていなかったと思います。
当初はこのような大きいものを作る予定はなく軽い遊び程度でした。
遊んでいるうちに段々と楽しくなってきて夢中になっていました。
もっと大きくかっこよく出来ないだろうかと考えていたらこんな形になっていたような感じです。
このk'nexブロックはアメリカ生まれなので、日本で安く手に入れるのは難しく、たまに出品されるヤフオクやメルカリにお世話になり、集めながら製作し大きくなっていった感じです。
ですので、初めから沢山の部品があればもっと早く出来上がっていたのかもしれませんが、徐々に揃えていきながら作り上げていった状態です。
設計図や組立説明書など一切無いオリジナルなので、製作している最中やご飯を食べている時までも、どうすればこの問題をクリア出来るのかをいつも考え、スクラップ&ビルドを繰り返していました。
問題点にぶち当たると色々と試行錯誤していましたが、自分にとってはその時間がたまらなく楽しく、問題をクリア出来た時の達成感は何ものにも変えられない喜びでした。
この作品が完成したのは、5つの事が運良く重なったからだと思います。
一つ目はコロナで仕事が休業になり自由な時間が出来たこと
二つ目は広いお寺の本堂があったこと
三つ目は必要な数多くの部品が偶然に揃ってきたこと
四っ目は多くの方の次作品への期待と応援があったこと
そして最後は家族の理解があったこと
全ての事に感謝させて頂きながらいつも自分の動画を見て楽しんでいます笑

I was influenced by the crane model made by LEGO and made it with knex block!
The production period is about half a year, but I think I wouldn't have come across this work without such free time.
At first, I had no plans to make such a big one, and it was just a light play.
As I was playing, it became more and more fun and I was absorbed in it.
When I was wondering if I could make it bigger and cooler, it would look like this.
Since this k'nex block was born in the United States, it is difficult to get it cheaply in Japan, and I feel that it has grown in size while being collected, thanks to the occasional Yahoo Auctions and Mercari.
So, if there were a lot of parts from the beginning, it might have been completed earlier, but it is in a state where it is being made while gradually arranging.
Since it is an original with no blueprints or assembly instructions, I always thought about how to solve this problem even during production and when I was eating rice, and repeated scrap and build.
When I hit a problem, I had to make various trials and errors, but for me, the time was irresistible and fun, and when I was able to clear the problem, the sense of accomplishment was a joy that I couldn't change.
I think this work was completed because five things were lucky enough to overlap.
The first was that I had free time because my work was closed in Corona.
The second is that there was a large temple main hall
The third is that many necessary parts were accidentally prepared.
The fourth is that many people had expectations and support for the next work.
And finally, there was the understanding of the family
I'm always grateful for everything and always enjoy watching my videos lol
