This is the best music compilation that I've ever seen, of any kind of music, ever. The fact that you not only manipulated the audio but went so far as to cram every bit of information you could onto the screen during every song shows true dedication. It turns a lackluster form of video creation into something so much more: a true music video! Great work!
With the visuals, my main consideration was file size. Sure, I could've made it more exciting with animations, particle effects, etc., but that wouldn't scale well; it would make the video file much, much larger, possibly exceeding the 128 GB upload limit. Since this is just a series of still images (PowerPoint slides, actually) fading in and out, the video file came out much smaller.
As someone who is about to join my country's Air Force, I find this compilation to be extremely helpful especially when I'm jogging and keeping my mind motivated. It also helps that I love GuP so much that I actually thought of joining just to drive tanks lol (finally live out the dream of a girl riding a tank!) Thank you for the vid! Edit (15 Jan 2025): Finally an Air Force Officer! Still using this vid as motivation when jogging hehe

Thank you for including the army song along with the field artillery march, we had to sing that in army basic training and it brings me pride knowing it’s also in my favorite anime!
For some strange reason I like that panzerlind has the sound of marching, also I can almost sing the lyrics of battle hymn of the republic because it's also used as a song for the airborne
I listened to this video probably 80 times already and just wanted to thank you for the brilliant work! This has replaced my Spotify-playlist as my background-music while gaming or working on the computer. My favourite songs are the Panzerlied (2nd version) and the US Artillery March (1st) but they are all great!

British grenadier is very elegant like the characters they represent if one thinks about it. Panzerlied and katyusha focuses only on the here and now and the glory of their respective countries. But British Grenadier, being bigger than themselves (Britain) despite already an accomplished empire, is the only one that sits back from the chaos & ugliness happening around them, appreciate classical war’s beauty as if from a classicist’s armchair, and gave itself the ethereal glory of building war memory upon the shoulders of giants alexander and lysander, who accomplished more military feats than ww2 warriors. Alexander conquered 3rd largest empire before 30 (largest for 1500 years) and lysander being a Spartiate trained since 7 and made Sparta the best among the greeks, whose division is the only reason that alexander’s macedon had the opportunity to rise. Elegance
Never gonna give you up Never gonna let you down Never gonna run around and desert you Never gonna make you cry Nvere gonna say goodbye Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you
Some talk of great Katyusha, and some of Mika and Mikko Or Hana and Klara, and such great names as these But of all the world's great heroes, there's none that can compare With a tow, row ,row ,row ,row, to the St.Glor Panzer grenadiers Those heroes of Sensha-Dō ne'er saw a two pounder Or knew the force of Rosehip, with the fxxking fast panzer But our brave girls do know it, and banish all their fears With a tow, row, row, row, row, row, to the St.Glor Panzergrenadiers Whene'er we are commanded to storm the palisades Our leaders march with dajeeling, and we with lemon tea We throw them from the glacis, about the enemies' ears With a tow, row, row, row, row, to the St.Glor Panzergrenadiers When the battle is over, we to the town repair The townsmen cry, "Hurrah, girls, here comes a Grenadier! Here come the Grenadiers, my girls, with their 6 pounder gun
With a tow, row, row, row, row, to the St.Glor Panzergrenadiers Then let us fill a bumper, wait a minute you can't drink Who carry caps and pouches, and wear the loupèd clothes May they and their commanders live happy all their years With a tow, row, row, row, row, to the St.Glor Panzergrenadiers
I was wondering why I was recommended this even before I'd watched GuP, let alone anything on YT related to it, then I realised it was you that uploaded all of those Tom Lehrer recordings! Thanks for all of these!
Girls und Panzer actually has a surprisingly good rendition of "When Johnny Comes Marching Home". Most of the renditions are pretty good, but that one sticks out to me.
So many people like panzerlied. But i just looked up the english translations of many of these songs and i have to say the British Grenadier is the best. Panzerlied is just normal military song. British G invokes classical Greek heroes and smthg about that just makes me feel strong unlike the others. (Edit: smthg = the idea that they are not merely fightinf a war for britain but contributing to its history/art upon the shoulders of giant war-experts/maniac alexander & lysander, who are more into military feats than modern men. Alexander conquered 3rd largest empire in his 20s and the Spartiate trained since 7) The Americans invoked Biblically inspired words which is not my type. Panzerlied invokes nothing - as boring as the people they represent. The Finnish one, however, is a banger. I look forward to playing it while i drive
It has been a long time since I have first encountered these songs and totally forgot about GuP until suddenly this popped up in my recom.I don t remember exactly when was it, It was probably when this vid has surpassed 1M views. Since then, I became high schooler and kept on studying, but unfortunately I got sick, mental disorder. It has quite an ordeal for me during the last two years but thanks god I thought this vid was deleted by someone or somehow unable to watch. Thanks Alex for your persistence like replying recent comments. BTW I memorized the whole lyrics and sing along it. thanks a lot from a stranger in South Korea.

I could not agree more!!!
As someone who is about to join my country's Air Force, I find this compilation to be extremely helpful especially when I'm jogging and keeping my mind motivated. Elegance

Some talk of great Katyusha, and some of Mika and Mikko
Or Hana and Klara, and such great names as these
But of all the world's great heroes, there's none that can compare
With a tow, row ,row ,row ,row, to the St.Glor Panzer grenadiers
Those heroes of Sensha-Dō ne'er saw a two pounder
Or knew the force of Rosehip, with the fxxking fast panzer
But our brave girls do know it, and banish all their fears
With a tow, row, row, row, row, row, to the St.Glor Panzergrenadiers
Whene'er we are commanded to storm the palisades
Our leaders march with dajeeling, and we with lemon tea
We throw them from the glacis, about the enemies' ears
With a tow, row, row, row, row, to the St.Glor Panzergrenadiers
When the battle is over, we to the town repair
The townsmen cry, "Hurrah, girls, here comes a Grenadier!
Here come the Grenadiers, my girls, with their 6 pounder gun
With a tow, row, row, row, row, to the St.Glor Panzergrenadiers
Then let us fill a bumper, wait a minute you can't drink
Who carry caps and pouches, and wear the loupèd clothes
May they and their commanders live happy all their years

Couldn't agree more
So many people like panzerlied.
