Hello! I'm so pleased you enjoyed the video and found it informative. I'm the type of person who wants to see and do as much as possible so, that said, I would recommend a day in Coimbra for sure. In fact, I did this before (Porto > Coimbra > Lisbon) by train. It all depends on how much energy you have. :-) I'm unsure where you're flying in from, but if you have the energy and time to maximize your first day in Porto (Nov. 27), you could do 3 days in Porto (see my 3 Days in Porto video for ideas of what you can do: th-cam.com/video/j2O7wZmPpi4/w-d-xo.html), do Coimbra on the 30th, and then leave Coimbra on the 1st to Lisbon. It is very doable. If it's too much, and you need time to relax on the 27th, either just stay in Porto and go direct to Lisbon, or add Coimbra and spend one less day in Lisbon (I don't now how long you're in Lisbon). Are you referring to January 8th or August 1st? I assume you are referring to January. January is a very low travel season period and, honestly, not a good time to visit. Things shut down and the weather is not the best. I can't speak to flights, but I would recommend finding another time to visit Santorini. Perhaps wait until the spring. I hope this helps.

I'm not as familiar with that neighborhood as others, but I did a quick Google search and from what I read, it says this 'hood is considered safe. If you are walking distance to metro stop, it will make it even easier and quicker to access the other neighborhoods for cheap!

I agree it is best not to travel by cruise ship. Get a local accommodation and stay a while and get to know the location. That is always best. 😃 So pleased you enjoyed your hotel in Oia!

@@CORRTravel I did. I stayed at the Aethrio Sunset Village. Rooms were nice & affordable and I had a rooftop private area that had views of all aspects of Oia an other parts. I was also next to the churches and Caldera so had the best ever sunset views without all the crowds!
