Tova Friedman | The Daughter of Auschwitz (FULL EVENT)

'I am a survivor. That comes with a survivor's obligation to represent one and half million Jewish children murdered by the Nazis. They cannot speak. So I must speak on their behalf.'
Tova Friedman was one of the youngest people to emerge from Auschwitz at six years old. During six months of incarceration in Birkenau, Tova witnessed atrocities that she could never forget, and experienced numerous escapes from death. She is one of a handful of Jews to have entered a gas chamber and lived to tell the tale.
In The Daughter of Auschwitz, Tova immortalizes what she saw, to keep the story of the Holocaust alive, at a time when it is in danger of fading from memory. She has used those memories that have shaped her life to honour the victims.
In conversation with award-winning former war reporter and co-writer Malcolm Brabant, Tova will explore this incredible story of courage, resilience and survival. This promises to be a poignant event symbolised by awe-inspiring bravery.

She is one of the survivors who never lied in her recollection. I heard her in different interview and never heard some contradictions unlike many others .

THANK YOU for sharing this amazing part of of your life. You are right. I’m 69. This is the second book I’ve read on the Holocaust, and I must say I didn’t really know anything about what actually happened in this incredible injustice. This should be a subject in every school all over the world. ❤❤my heart broke a million times reading this book even though I’d read another book as well. China should be considered modern day Holocaust as is Covid vaccine. Something should be done.
