Wow your so knowledgeable!!! I inherited some authentic handmade Perian rugs from my father. He was forced to flee Tehran in 1976- the revolution. Could you point me in the direction how to find the value of these rugs by submitting pics, etc. I almost think I found the rug,, but then it is totally different- lol and advice would be so much appreciated! Thanks!!
Glad you found it helpful! You can watch our video about how Persian rugs are priced to get a better general understanding: th-cam.com/video/61Ej1mcPQjs/w-d-xo.html As for getting your rug's value appraised, that's something that's usually done in person. So I recommend finding a local trusted rug dealer to help you with that.
Thank you for the video, but with all due respect Tabriz rugs are not "by far" (as you mentioned) the most distinguished rugs in Iran. Qom and Isfahan are way finer rugs. Again, I don't mean that Tabriz rugs are not amazing, but not as rich as some other cities. This is just my humble opinion.
He referred to Tabriz rugs as Persian or Iranian rugs, and yes they are part of Iranian art, culture and heritage and had nothing to do with the country of Azerbaijan. So you mat want to educate yourself about Iran and Iranian art before you name calling others!
The hanging rug behind you is strikingly attractive.
Thanks for the good video

Tabriz Persian? Are you serious? It's literally azerbaijani (city and carpets). Stop lying!
