Good morning Marie. I am new to your channel. I really enjoy watching you. I love to plant but space is my problem. So in the meantime I am going to enjoy watching you . I will learn some tips from you. Have a good and enjoy what you doing❤❤
Happy fruitful new year! You have inspired me to use every nook and cranny in my small space. Your creativity is contagious and very inspiring. I am definately going to develop a small backyard garden using the material that I have.
Thanks for the tips! I'll definitely try this on my balcony when it warms up. Since it can take up to 9 months I may need to start them indoors at the end of January.
Hi Marie, As always, I love your videos. Can you make a video of how you process the rabbit manure. You show us already how you take out the poop what's next.
I planted Ginger in ground a few years ago and harvesting all now but never needed to replant because piece is always left to grow back….I guess Father knew I wouldn’t be able to deal with in ground garden ❤️
Hi Marie I am waiting a bit longer to pull my ginger up I give my sister who came in from Canada a couple pieces to make tea so I would wait until the end of this month for the rest, happy gardening my friend, ❤❤
Gm watching you from mandeville. I really appreciate what you and steve are doing .you got some lovely ginger yesterday 😂.when I was watching you I was so happy to see what you got . I know how you felt I know the joy you felt when you reap what you saw I could feel your excitement through the screen because I feel the exact same way whenever I plant something and I see the result of what I got from whatever it is that I planted The joy from it it's beautiful it's a wonderful feeling keep doing what you do I love you guys ❤❤
Another comment because the first one was long lol. You showed us the strawberries and then I remembered the banana tea! I made mine, inspired by you as always, and I fed my eggplant with it. Yuh wah see di amount a flowers it push out! So, maybe you could feed some to the strawberries. 😊
Thanks for sharing the process Marie. Like others, I'm inspired by your harvest video and my toops of ginger is coming. I transplanted it in a 5 gallon pot yesterday as I started it in a little seedling pot. There is one thing I am concerned about though with this planting you did. You broke the ginger but the fresh wounds weren't allowed to scab over before planting. I know that can cause rot especially with so many wonderful microbes in your manure, but hopefully yours won't rot. Also, rhizome rot is something ginger suffers from. I think I heard that rotational planting helps with limiting the onset of rot. With that said, maybe you could change the soil in the containers after the second harvest. Looking forward to September 2025! 😁
This is why I always share how I plant what I'm harvesting. I planted them the same way the last time. My very old parents did it the same way. It might be difficult for others, but I haven't had any issues. As it relates to rotation, the reason I replenish my soil
Marie I just love your energy and hard work in the garden but I don't have a clue of how to plant.but am you make me to start planting pak choy.and cabbage pray for me and them😂🙏
I am planting and doing almost everthing that you do😊 for my garden. Except for the Rabbits & Chickens!😅 Do you write things down, regarding what you plant and when you plant them?? You seems to have a very good memory. Are those carrots the ones you planted a few months before Christmas?😮

Does the wood chips serve the same purpose as the dried leaves
or is it for special plants?
The wood chips takes a longer time to break down. I add it here because it's just what I use to absorb my rabbit urine. So it's fertilizer
7:55 The rabbits are enjoying the Ginger leaves
Oh yes
Good morning, Marie. Thank you for your inspiration in starting to grow our own vegetables. Enjoying the videos. Please advise where you buy soil?
You're most welcome. The soil I'm using is not commercially sold. A friend provided it for us
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much 💓
Marie
Yes
I am from South Carolina. How much would you charge an hour to work in my garden
I wouldn't allow anyone to do my gardening for me even for free, so I know you must be joking
❤🇹🇹
Thank you so much 💓
Gm. Marie! I have always noticed the quality of your soil, what is it made up with?
Hi Marie..blessed New Year. where do you get your soil
A friend of ours provided the one I'm using now
Good morning Marie... how will you store all that ginger so it last a long time
I'm going to freeze some. And use the rest fresh
Good morning Marie. Thank you.
What about goat manure, does it need to be cured and is it good for planting food?
I've never used it, just because my dad told me not to. I didn't ask why
Hi Marie. Happy New Year. I have just come up on your videos
Please where do you get Rabbit manure and what soil do you use
Happy new year! Welcome to our family
I raise my own rabbits 🐇
The soil is not commercially sold, we have a friend who makes it for us on his farm
Thank you
Does your friend sells the soil
No dear
I'll be harvesting my ginger this coming weekend. The tops died back in November, I hope I haven't waited to long😮 be well and have a great day!🤠
