I carry the macro comp version everyday. I have shot it and the macro grip module with the XL slide (same thing as what you have), personally I prefer the comped version by far, it’s much flatter shooting.
I bet the comp version is amazing to shoot. I just cant justify $800 for an "integrated" comp. I will be comping mine out soon. Just ordered the parts yesterday!
I wish they did this to begin with! I have the Macro with the comp. I love the Macro, the comp isn't a big deal, but I really don't prefer comps. I ended up building my 365 x into a macro variant but adding a threaded barrel, comp, and macro grip. Short slide with a 3.7 barrel and about an extra half inch than the standard Macro. Plus my comp isnt in the slide so it will be more effective. I have a Holosun 407k that works great. Added on the mag well from tactical development and man I love this gun. Great vid. Also I had a Romeo zero that broke on me quite literally from letting the slide release. Didn’t event get a shot out of it lol go holosun

No rust yet haha I personally don't waist carry but from everyone I've talked to they don't even notice the optic. Having the optic makes it much faster and easier to lock on target. I don't mind iron sights at all and that's how I started out but the optic is just more fun and more accurate for follow up shots.
I'd like to see you compensate it. It would help me in determining which one works best and I'd like to know if it's even worth compensating. Great content bro keep it up
Thank you! I'll get right on that. I was thinking about doing True Precision barrel and Harrington arms comp. What do you think and what color barrel should I get?
an actual compensator is probably gonna work a lot better than the "integrated" comp. The the xmacro comp has the cuts on the slide so when the shot breaks its only realistically going to be functioning for a split second where as a threaded on comp is going to be working the whole time.
I got mine from bulldogfirearmsnm.com. I was there just the other day and they had one in stock that comes with the romeo zero. They have it labeled as a p365x on the price tag so ask for that and make sure it has the macro frame.
The EPS carry is badass but I just can’t justify the $400. I have a 407c green dot that I love but yeah it’s not a closed emitter so it’s always a possibility of lint or dirt or rain getting into the optic and ruining it
I agree with you! I struggled to pull the trigger on the EPS. It is really nice and comes with a lot of features but I would not buy again strictly because of price tag. I will be going with a 407 if I need to buy another dot.
I bought the 507k then the EPS carry came out. It is a want, not a need, but eventually I'll upgrade to the EPS. Enclosed emitter is objectively more reliable than open emitter. I have the 508T on my P320 X-Ten 10mm Auto too. I'm really impressed with Holosun's products so far!
I bought a 407k for my x macro. It has somethimg in the emitter i can't seem to get out and it shows up on the glass. Drives me nuts. I will gladly pay $400 for a green dot EPS carry when the come back in stock
Also the standard Xmacro doesn’t come with a mag well and extended mag release. Don’t care about the mag well since it will increase printing. And finally the tacops comes with one extra mag.
Thank you! Not bat for the first shots from 10 yards. The gun feels good. Didn't even have to zero the Holosun on the range because I lined the dot up with the iron sights.
My opinion is if you want compensated buy tac ops and aftermarket comp/ barrel instead of getting the "integrated" XM version. Don't get me wrong the original XM is an amazing gun but there are disadvantages to having the comp integrated into the slide with a shorter barrel. @@clutchmaster_ each is own, I guess. I do like it better than the 507k being smaller and enclosed. I don’t like the auto adjust. I turned it off.
