Just found this video and glad I did haha. I’ve been having the same problem as well and you explained what your having problems with and how you fixed way simpler. Gonna give it shot 👍

Good Luck! The easiest way to fix it is to buy a lithium battery but not the least expensive. This fix worked great for me the only downfall was having to have five batteries back there.

Well done. Been having the same issue with my Livescope!

I’m having this problem w my panoptix system too. I have a ps22 ducer, and I’m using it for ice fishing so it’s all just straight connected to the battery. Battery seems like it’s fine - it charged up overnight and held a charge well so I’m at a bit of a loss for what to do now.
    Any thoughts? Please?

What is your voltage showing? If it’s less than 12 you will have trouble. You may have to get some better wiring.

@@SimplisticFishing yeah I think it’s either the battery or the wiring. I plugged in the charger and the unit only showed 8.3 volts. So I thinks it’s either the battery or the wiring?

@hunt_trap_fish what do you get when you check the battery directly?

@@SimplisticFishing I don’t have a voltmeter at my house so I need to wait to borrow my dad’s unfortunately lol

Thanks for the video, I've been having the same issue. I have 24V running the black box (from the 2 batteries in series for the trolling motor) and 12v from the cranking battery to the monitor, but using the boat wiring and terminal box - I'm going to add a second battery in parallel to the cranking battery then run a new set of wires from them straight to monitor- hope it solves this annoying problem!!!

Good luck, it should fix it unless it’s your boat wiring. I haven’t had any issue lately since. Agree, very annoying!!!!

So I have same issues but goes away seconds after alarm my question is Once alarm goes of and disappears does livescope still work or is the transducer not found

I think it really depends on your battery. Mine would pop up then the panoptix option would not even work for me. The key is check that voltage on the Garmin and make sure it is staying at or around 12.

Mines hooked to cranking battery as recommended and still does it....12v is what I'm reading?

12V should be good unless it is fluctuating. I have a new boat since this video and I ended up buying one Lithium battery and running all my graphs off of it.

Thanks man! I really appreciate the support for the channel. Since I re-wired and added the extra battery that issue has gone away. Hope it works for you as well!!

You're welcome. It has been a while since I did this video. Eventually, I broke down and bought a dedicated lithium battery for my graphs. It's much easier to manage but also heavy on the pocket book.

You need 6 ga multi strand wire and a 12 v lithium battery
