Hi, I am currently working on a Terraria trainer and trying to find the player base address using AoB scan. I have the following bytes: A9 00 00 00 AF 00 00 6E 00 00 00. If I search for the byte array in Cheat Engine, an address is found. If I search for the byte array with Memory.dll or with your code no address is found. What can be the reason for this? Terraria is 32bit. I have also changed my C#-Application to 32bit. When I look at Cheat Engine under Memory Regions, it shows me the address range as Protected. Is there any way to access this area anyway? Do I need to allocate new memory?
@@MobileGamingMK There are also plugins for cheat engine that automatically adds wildcards, didn't use it though in the video because cheat engine wouldn't load it 🤔 Tested with different versions 6.5 6.6 .. and 32 as well as 64 bit. Still wouldn't work
@@SwedishTwat yea I known I had some problems with the plugin but maybe it was version I don't really remember but the function is simple I don't think generating signature via plugin is necessary it can be done manually

You might be able to change the protection, scan for the signature and then restore the old protection again
