Carbon monoxide poisoning is the #1 way used to commit suicide in Korea but that’s definitely not the case in America (so I understand the misconception/misunderstanding )
I really liked that the show took the time to develop the characters outside of the game. We all expected the games to continue immediately but this gave the characters time to breathe. Before they eventually stop, forever.
actually the moments the old man pressed X I expected they would go back on their own. They hid the fact they could go back but it’s also kinda odd because they said if they don’t continue then the money goes to the families of the people that died. I don’t really see why that didn’t happen automatically the moment they left the game but I guess they expected a lot of them to come back anyway. The money going to the family could also have been a lie.
An interesting point about Sang-woo I haven’t seen around yet is his relationship with wealth. He’s got the highest debt, but because of what type of debt he has he’s not being pursued by thugs, and he still technically has enough liquid capital to buy whatever he wants at the convenience store and pay for Ali’s food/ride too. Because he’s committed white collar crimes he’s still got access to many privileges within a capitalist system, while Ali’s family has to flee and Gi-Hun can barely afford to eat.
A interesting point, but a bit overthinking. Was it ever said how much Ali own in debt? Not saying he didn't owe anything, but I believe Ali just wanted to get his family out of SK and back to his homeland in Pakistan. Sure he was dirt broke, but that was due to his boss never paying him. Though the real problem is when he fought with his boss and got him injured during said fight. Thats why he was in a panic mode to get his wife and son out of SK. He didn't want the cops to show up at their door and possible arrest her or more likely, tell her of what happen. While Gi-Hun main problem is that he always spends his money as soon as he get it. If he stops borrowing money as well as blowing whatever he has earn, he could be living better. Though the man in a cycle of borrow/earn money, spend it on gambling to make more, lose it and repeat. Meanwhile, Sang-woo isn't being left go because he rich or has money himself (He doesn't, he just has pocket change from the looks of it). He in hiding and is trying his best to stay hidden. Hell, he was probably gone for a day or two due to the squid games. So the cops/whatever government force is trying to find him have no idea where he is. That and, we have no idea if that is his house he went to to commit suicide, or if it was a hotel. Only reason why the Squid Games' people knew where he was is due to them keeping track of all the players. Last thing, and the main reason Sang-woo has money. He not naive (Ali) or stupid (Gi-Hun). Sure he made a lot of bad calls...I mean..a lot of bad calls. But to get to the spot he is in, he knows how money works and how to earn/save it. The man might still be "rich" compare to everyone else, but he owes a shit ton of money due to a lot of bad stock/financial calls.
@@Tiggy110 honestly though, I think sangwoo is just a bastard. Yes he's intelligent but from what we've seen in the show, sangwoo seems to have procured most of his success by manipulating and using other people. He's been in the corporate world for so long he believes that the "every man for himself" model is the only way. Yes, they are all trying to win the prize money, but most like ali and gi-hun believe in playing the games fairly and winning using the methods outlined. Sangwoo will do anything because he has a lust for his lost valor.
@@lilacbombs_5197 Oh, I know Sang Woo is a bastard. I get it, the games are to be played and you are suppose to win at any cost. Though the dude is super quick to turn on his fellow allies to save his own skin. Hell, even when he didn't even NEED to do it. He still did it because it would have weed more people out. Though sadly, its not only the corporate world that is "Every man for himself." The whole world is a "Everyone for themselves". From the highest corporate man to the lowest thug. If it can make someone quick buck, the majority of people are gonna take it. Which is why I can't truly fault Sang Woo. Sure, I hate his guts, but would anyone else be any different in that spot? I would like to say that I, myself, would be different. But I can't say for 100% certain. Which is why the series is so good imo. No one is 'good' or 'evil'. It just shows people at their lowest and how they handle it.
@@Tiggy110 I see your point yeah, but I also think the point of the show isn't that everyone's low/not inherently good, but rather economic despairity turns people to do monstrous things to eachother to compete. the VIPS/wealthy have every opportunity to stop playing the game, it's likely how they justify it to themselves- but really it's the wealthy and specifically us imperialism that is facilitating all of this.
Just to clear this up for y'all, they aren't all gamblers there. Most of those people just had life give them a bad hand, and all of them are at the brink of losing everything they got left.
tbh, i don't even think the main guy was a gambler, remember he had a job and was liad off due to company bankruptcy during a time where he needed A LOT of money, its when you are in the bottom, gambling for a win is not that bad of an idea.
There are some country where it is so hard just to live and korea is one of it. Try to live there and you know why they do it. Thats why many korean critics this movie because it reflect how life really work there.
My favorite thing about the title for this episode is that when you read "hell," after watching the first episode, you're expecting it to refer to the games and torture the players will be subject to, but in reality, it was referring to the real lives of the players and the "hell" that they endure outside of the games, making the games seem more inviting and merciful.
yeah exactly! and also two or three of the characters trough this episode keep on talking that "여기 더 지옥이다" "it's much more hell out here", so sad that they translated it as "torture" in the subtitles. Cuz the title was not only showed in the lives of the characters, but also was spoken trough their lips as well
The old man voting no was SUCH clever writing. You see him fearless in the first game and you fully think that will make him OK to keep going, then there's the brain tumor... so the "No" vote REALLY catches you off guard as a viewer, especially since it's only the second episode. You immediately go "Well, now what?"
exactly! everyone i've seen react, myself included, went bonkers when it showed the old man voting no. it's such a good plot twist and gives the show a chance to explain why these people are doing this: because they have no other option but to.
Old man giving no because he giving everyone another chance to be out from the game, he stressed that part in the last episode where he said he didnt force anyone to play, but even then everyone still coming back again
im so used to american shows where they would have had him press the circle, thats why it was so surprising to me. i love foreign shows because im not used to them and i can still be surprised
I haven't watched this channel before, but after watching their Squid Game reactions, they give me the impression that they live very sheltered and privileged lives lol
The fact that this episode was called "Hell" and started off with them burning and nailing people alive in coffins to burn them made me think they were gonna make an intensely grotesque hellish game for the contestants. But the fact that they actually just showcased how their daily lives has become the real hell for them was pretty smart.
"Do people actually live like this?" - The place that the cop's missing brother was living in is a cheap inn, full of dorm-style small rooms. It's popular with backpackers and young people for short term stays but also the "not quite homeless yet but not quite home stable either" crowd, who practically live there. In the U.S these would be the semi-homeless permanently living out of a room in a motel6.
Just to clear something, not all of them are gamblers. In this episode you could see that Ali has dept due to not being paid by his bos (as you said) and the girl needs money to save her family. This means that there are characters that are not there only by their own fault but mostly for the circumstances created by bad luck in their life (or even by other people).
I don't know why you commented that, but that's how I see Sang Woo. He's amongst people who are all in the same situation as he is, but still he feels ashamed, because he's learned that he's supposed to be _better_ than these kinds of people. That's why he'd do absolutely anything to hide his mistakes, to win the game.
And now YOU KNOW why this show was so well received around the world CUZ so many people live their lives like this at the edge of the cliff, every single day, paying debts for years, living injustice, praying for chances, staying in small places, and dealing with aholes who doesn't pay them for their job or bad influences. This show puts in spotlight the cruelty of our society.
the voting system is a clever way to reveal character traits by showing the audience and without telling the audience. we realize the desperation and priorities of certain characters. Then, by showing how bad life is for people outside the games, we're able to sympathize and understand why so many people would willing risk their lives for this money. It adds grounded realism to the hyper-violent surrealism of the games. Great story telling.
its really dope they episode is called "Hell" and it takes place outside the island, so the truth it's their lives that are hell, the games are a chance to escape
Even if this game isnt “real”, these situations, these problems are real to a lot of people: (north korean defectors are scammed daily trying to get loved ones across the border without getting caught by immigration in china or lessen the chances of them getting shot by soldiers (you have to bribe north korean soldiers to pass) - or migrant workers getting abused and tricked from being provided their full earnings - some even get sexually abused more because they’re migrant workers and fear can’t report due to deportation or threatened by their jobs, people run in debt from medical bills (in the US for example, is a common issue), and sure their are ppl w gambling issues, but it’s an addiction and like all addictions need to be treated holistically like everything else.) All sense of “logical” or “right way” doesn’t exist anymore when you have nothing to give or offer. You’re simply desperate. There’s nothing crazy about that. People even at their best levels, when gone through the absolute hell, might even slip into their worst versions of themselves. Thus the appeal of this show & why so many relate.
@@mushroomlad6233 agreed, everyone here were still in episode 2, those who watched finish all episodes shouldn't spoil. I would assume the same that the old man accepted the offer first if I haven't finish watching all episodes
Same it's not as easy of a choice as it seems. But if he literally can't support his kid I feel like leaving the daughter with that family is a hard but loving choice. Least she'll have a home and stable ish family.
And I don't get why everyone else is okay with it. Gi-hun is literally punching someone who provided stable home (among everything she needed) for his daughter when he couldn't with no questions asked. At the beginning of the show you can literally see him go gamble away money that he stole from his own mother that is stuck providing for him. He should be the one getting beaten the shit out of him.
@@nolanlehman6392 if taking that money on the spot would save my moms life ( and also her grandma) i would take it right there, then come back and kick his ass and tell the truth, at one point in life the girl would understand that the only a hole was her stepdad (her mom too, at least a little bit for not helping her grand mother)

@@OfficialTheProductHunt missing the entire point of the comment, chief. Never complained or said I wish they got more predictions right or anything like that.
they picked a very specific type of people, they chose people who have no choice but to do this, this is why this show is so goddamm genius, they are legit better off outside than in the game. When your at that low in life you begin to understand them, I love this show because of its a preety blunt criticism of wealth inequality and I get that some of these people did that to themselves like with their bad habits and such but there are also a lot of characters who are just victims of circumstances beyond their control like poor Ali, and in very advanced countries for shit like that to happen and to have people homeless or so poor that they resort to stuff like that is really messed up, kinda like whats happening here in the US, the middle class is no more and the lower class and rich gap is widening
I think genuine love is doing what's best for your child. Like how some parents put their kids up for adoption when they know they can't take care of them. I think there is a bit of pride in him deciding she needs him, and a bit of selfishness in wanting to see her even though her life would probably be better without him.
@@bgumg1023 pride and ego have nothing to do with stepdad decides to give him the money for his stepdaughters grandmother then segways into "by the way you take this you'll never see your daughter again" tell me you wouldn't be pissed or even disgusted with such a bold ass demand. @@faithl8152 he’s actually one of my most favorite out of all the normies but the way he talked down on bts a couple times in some of their reaction videos just don’t sit right with me 🙄😬
I saw memes about sangwoo chilling in the bathtub fully clothed and assumed it was just people joking around. Turns out many ppl did not realise he was committing suicide. That sucks cause it's pretty integral to his approach towards life in general (at that point). I also saw people assuming sangwoo and gihun were brothers??? like they have different mothers how do you miss that 🤣
Sang-Woo does call him '형' (Big Brother) several times. In Korea, it's a term for not just blood brothers, but also a term of affection for someone slighter older than oneself. But that's not immediately obvious if one doesn't live in Korea. The closest thing would probably be 'Bro', but that has somewhat different connotations. And I mean, he's wearing a suit in a bathtub. That's funny out of context.
@@hp22h78 I know hyung is a common term used between friends, but then Ali called sangwoo that too and from what I saw the translation in Netflix didn't really use 'big brother' but just used their names. Also they had different mothers with different storylines 🤣 I'm just surprised at how many people misunderstood this. Also yea the bathtub scene can be funny if someone doesn't realise what's up
This episode is the best one in the series IMO. It breaks your expectation by pulling them out of the game and makes us emphatize with the main characters by showing their life. That's some world building done in 1 episode people! In the end, when they go back to the game you understand them completely, even if you do not agree. For these people so low in life, the game is their only chance to get out of the mud, even if the price is your own life.
Idk, if someone tried to make me choose between giving my sick mother medicine and ever seeing my only child again, I would kick their teeth in. It's straight up extortion.
Why take the money if the money comes with him never seeing his daughter again? I hate that he punched him but I’m glad he ain’t take the money. * I SAID WHAT I SAID. IDGAF about y’all comments 😘
It's called taking the money and lying. Didn't see a contract... save his mom, see his daughter... if he can lie to his daughter about fried chicken etc. why would he care lying to the new guy in their life literally telling you she's not your daughter anymore...
pretty sure he never sees his daughter anyway lmao, he's obviously a trash father. plus we all know what happens at the end because he never took that money
Them being missing probably won't be a big deal to people who know them since they owe a lot of money, people will just think they're hiding or gone off another country etc.
I don't understand why people call Gi-hun an idiot. He was bribed into not seeing his daughter ever again. I know the money was for the surgery but it came at a cost. The step-dad put him into a situation wherein he has to choose between his mother and his daughter. Who wouldn't punch someone who has the audacity to tell that to your face.
"Take the money" I think you guys missed the part where he wouldn't get to see his daughter anymore if he did. Nobody who loves their kids would ever do something like that
if he loves his daughter and he had even a BIT of responsibilities, he would take the money and know that for his own daughters protection and safety (with people LITTERALLY coming for his organs and even signed up with sketchy people that landed him in said murder games to begin with) he should walk away from her life if he keeps on living like that... If you TRUELLY love someone, you do what's best for THEM, not for YOU. The best thing for his daughter is him either fixing his life, or if he continues like this... to walk away from his daughters life and know that at least his child is being taken care of by a family that is STABLE and SAFE.
I caught that part, but I still think he should have graciously accepted the money. He's not going to get to see his daughter either way. Might as well save his mom and work on having thanking / respecting the person helping his daughter have a good life. Edit: I don't have kids, so I'm not going to pretend to understand a parent's heart. Maybe that's why I don't understand his reaction.
This show is pure stress, but I love it. Over the last several years I've had a hard time focusing on TV shows/movies. My attention only lasts for 15 minutes, but this is the closest I've binged in years. But it's really starting to stress me out, and driving me to tears.
Y’all called it pride but he’d rather gamble his life to get the money for his mother rather than taking the bribe and definitely never seeing his daughter again
Just so you know, there are 2 different subtitles on Netflix: the regular subtitles and the closed caption subtitles. The latter is based on the dub, so it’s a bit less accurate. The first episode you watched you used the former, this one you used the latter. I would recommend using the regular non-closed-caption subs in the future, but don’t worry too much about it!
I get what everyone is trying to say, but I’d bash in the face of ANY man who attempted to bribe me to stop seeing my own child, my own flesh and blood.
@@Lex-fs1ru I mean he kind of does since he's raised the child and not gi-han. You can be mad about the situation all you want the fact remains that he was not a dedicated part of his daughter's life he has not provided anything for her so honestly he shouldn't be mad at this situation because it's a situation that he brought upon himself. Instead of reflecting on that fact he'd rather lash out on other people.
@UCsKKCO22J5WMHVubYvNVB3w okay so you're coming at this from a personal place. But your situation and his situation aren't the same. In this situation though where you already in the process of moving to a different state? And I feel like that's what a lot of people are missing y'all can say that he did the right thing by punching him or that the stepdad is an asshole but what everybody forgets is the fact that they were still moving after they moved he wasn't going to see his daughter anymore regardless and so he basically just lost his daughter in that moment while at the same time also losing his mom. He didn't take care of his daughter but his mom took care of him so who do you think has the priority at this time, the daughter that is already moving away from the country or the person who has literally put up with your shit, and is dying because of it.
@Cristian Rodas His mother was already at death's door. Gi-Hun was working a decent job until his company fucked him over. Being dealt a bad hand in life doesn't mean you're a lost cause
The stepdad was basically saying "If I give you this money to save your mother, my stepdaughter's grandmother, then in exchange you are no longer allowed to see your daughter" and y'all surprised that the main character punched him.
26:20 - how the fuck did you guys conclude he hit the step dad because of his pride? He hit him because the step dad asked him not to bother them anymore (not to see his daughter).
Because these reactors are a bunch of nihilistic d-bags that will never understand a love between a parent and child. The most attachment they've ever heard in life are to fictional characters or their shoes.
17:52 Goshiwons are the cheapest form of housing in Korea, it’s a tiny little room and you share the kitchen and bathroom spaces with the rest of the habitants of your floor. It’s mostly broke students, foreigners who are here for a short period of time and very poor people that live there.
But when you really think about it you know if you're not already a part of that lifestyle and then all of a sudden you become part of it I don't think the first thing you're going to be thinking about is well I should have this money allocated to an offshore bank account that I don't actually know about and should start focusing on the taxes that will be taken out like a normal person in my opinion that wouldn't be their first thought.

Because he’s committed white collar crimes he’s still got access to many privileges within a capitalist system, while Ali’s family has to flee and Gi-Hun can barely afford to eat.
wow

Cuz the title was not only showed in the lives of the characters, but also was spoken trough their lips as well
@@SuperHeedictator yes!! I was frustrated that they didn’t mention ”hell” in the translation

The old man voting no was SUCH clever writing. You see him fearless in the first game and you fully think that will make him OK to keep going, then there's the brain tumor... so the "No" vote REALLY catches you off guard as a viewer, especially since it's only the second episode. You immediately go "Well, now what?"
exactly! everyone i've seen react, myself included, went bonkers when it showed the old man voting no. it's such a good plot twist and gives the show a chance to explain why these people are doing this: because they have no other option but to.
the show is such a genius in foreshadowing and symbolism/metaphors (?) One example is when they gave the old man so much power in that voting scene
Old man giving no because he giving everyone another chance to be out from the game, he stressed that part in the last episode where he said he didnt force anyone to play, but even then everyone still coming back again

In the cities, these places cost $150~200 a month which is affordable for someone working part-time basically.
And there's smallest places around the world. There's tons of ppl surviving like day by day, CUZ that's not living at all
I would honestly like to live in a small room like that. Don't need a house, just want a little space where I can chill.
But in South Korea there are really tiny places very expensives, specially for students.
Dude was living in a closet 💀
Just to clear something, not all of them are gamblers.
In this episode you could see that Ali has dept due to not being paid by his bos (as you said) and the girl needs money to save her family.
This means that there are characters that are not there only by their own fault but mostly for the circumstances created by bad luck in their life (or even by other people).
Don't bother. The six people you see one the couch are the type of people that would cheer for the VIPs.

Great writing
its really dope they episode is called "Hell" and it takes place outside the island, so the truth it's their lives that are hell, the games are a chance to escape
Even if this game isnt “real”, these situations, these problems are real to a lot of people:
(north korean defectors are scammed daily trying to get loved ones across the border without getting caught by immigration in china or lessen the chances of them getting shot by soldiers (you have to bribe north korean soldiers to pass) - or migrant workers getting abused and tricked from being provided their full earnings - some even get sexually abused more because they’re migrant workers and fear can’t report due to deportation or threatened by their jobs, people run in debt from medical bills (in the US for example, is a common issue), and sure their are ppl w gambling issues, but it’s an addiction and like all addictions need to be treated holistically like everything else.)
All sense of “logical” or “right way” doesn’t exist anymore when you have nothing to give or offer. You’re simply desperate. There’s nothing crazy about that. People even at their best levels, when gone through the absolute hell, might even slip into their worst versions of themselves.
Thus the appeal of this show & why so many relate.

Ego and pride tf. The dude was bribing the guy to not see his daughter again. That’s not ego and pride at all. That is genuine love for his daughter.
Kinda backfired at the end when he left his daughter
I think genuine love is doing what's best for your child. Like how some parents put their kids up for adoption when they know they can't take care of them.

This episode is the best one in the series IMO. It breaks your expectation by pulling them out of the game and makes us emphatize with the main characters by showing their life. That's some world building done in 1 episode people!

Y'all grew up previliged af and it's shows. I mean you don't need to have grown up poor to understand these characters motivations but wtf guys
yeah true
You literally have no clue how each of them grew up. You watch a 20 min commentary on some korean show that has tottally different social cues then what most americans are used to. they are not taking this so seriously.... they are having fun chillin watching a show. and here you are with your judgmental ass telling them how they grew up. maybe think before you judge/
have you not watched the normies before? they miss out on a lot of in depth stuff probably cuz they're trying to conversate
@@jackdarippa8119 thank you!!!!!
most of these idiots in the comment section don't have brains
@@jackdarippa8119 I get it that Americans have different social cues but when they said "y'all people live like this" or something like that. It really shows that they grew up privilege. Yes people live like that ,I mean there are Homeless people in the US .
It's real interesting how people who react to squid games shows whos been sheltered from the rest of the world.
26:16 y'all gotta understand, some dude almost paid him to never contact his own daughter again. I get that it would have been enough to save his mom but it wasn't pride that kept him from taking it
I think that you all may severely underestimate the lengths desperation will take you to.
some of y'all really come across as incredibly sheltered and ignorant through some of the things you'll casually throw out lmfao.
like you severely underestimate just HOW close to debt and homelessness most people from the working class are at all times. just takes one high bill from an accident or a bunch of bills coming at you at once and next thing you know you can't pay rent, then you're homeless and can't afford food anymore either.
the main thing that separates "normal people" from people like the characters in this show wasn't first and foremost their choices, but more often than not it's simply luck. made worse if they already weren't as fortunate as others around them to begin with.
also 23:29 was just a really weird and unnecessary comment, like sometimes it's okay to just stay quiet and let a scene play out without making some try-hard edgy comment at someone else's expense.
Over 10 different reaction vids - not one of them guessed Il-nam's choice right! I love it!! 😆
Watching their reaction shows how they're not able to understand the motivations for each character, mainly because they grew up privileged and have no idea how the real world is like.
And what was that shit about BTS's manager? That was in bad taste.
@Cristian Rodas how are they a snowflake? This reaction was shit and weird. Like wth was that bts joke lol.
@@blinktwice4541 yeah I don't even know what made suraj say that like, how ignorant can you be smh
@@deadpool3_4 exactly lmao, also it's the fact that the joke wasn't even funny lol.
Yeah. When I heard that BTS “joke” my opinion of them immediately went sour. Like how uneducated can you be?? Then it just got worse as the episode went on.
@@twilightrhapsodist ikr. It's not a rare thing seeing western people still mention bts as something that's "different" or "unusual" due to the success they've had. His comment shows he clearly has some type of knowledge about stereotyping of bts and he himself jumped in on it to make a shit joke that's actually disrespectful. It's just hate/xenophobia disguised as a joke and im furious
Take the money? And never see his daughter again?
As someone who grew up in poverty, a lot of your commentary was extremely hurtful, ignorant, and privileged. I honestly dont know if I can watch you guys anymore. I don’t know you were this hateful.
totally agree. really shamefull
bye Felicia. Some life advice. Dont take things PERSONAL.... especially when said people have no idea who the fuck you are.
@@jackdarippa8119 well said
What did they say?
IKR
21:06 actually sangwoo was trying to commit suicide by carbon monoxide poisoning
The inability of this group to do basic math has never been more clear
Let's see just how many stupid/naive comments we can fit into a single reaction...
It was legit shocking.
Oh look, another one.
@Cristian Rodas bro what? lmao
@Cristian Rodas yes, you are in fact, wrong. lmao.
@Cristian Rodas wow man. So you support un-bts related and people who look-down-on-everything community or something?!
@Cristian Rodas If you say so lmao
Sang Woo in the bathtub was trying to commit suicide by carbon monoxide poisoning from burning coal in unventilated space. Gotta get creative when you have no guns
You guys kind of pissed me off when watching some parts of your reactions especially with the voting scene and the one where gihun punched that SOB
@@quintero2406 i kinda get where he's coming from, when Gi-hun punched the step-dad they called it stupid pride whilst completely ignoring the fact that accepting the money would mean giving up his daughter.
@Cristian Rodas I did stop watching their reactions. Although I find people who defend a group of strangers online so weird. People can’t even express criticism towards a channel without a follower getting super defensive. All I did was express how I felt about their reaction, didn’t say anything insulting about any of them but you still got upset on their behalf and made attacks against me. But thanks for your concern though!
i am sure there will be ppl in this world who would enter this type of games to win the prize.
Was Gi Hun supposed to swallow his pride, take the money, and never see her daughter again? I don't think it's that simple
To save his mothers life? Yes. And he didn't even go to see the daughter at the end when he got the money
i love how (i think) the "hell" they are reffering in the title is their life outside the game, and not the game itself
I feel like that girl on the right would say this if someone said that they were poor - "Then get rich!"
lol i agree she annoys me
right like I usually really like Rana, especially because she's more perceptive and actually pays attention to what's happening better than most of the others, but her reacting to this series is giving me some serious "just stop being poor" vibes lmfao
22:16 "Gi hun looks like a korean Kylo Ren" my star wars ass is shaking and cackling and by this accuracy alone.
Bro I love Rana... Like ever since I seen the reactions since the Avatar Days she's grown so much...she used to be so shy of doing intros... But now she's the Media leader..and on her own she has the most followers on her own account before the normies and cause the normies without posting a picture...back then she never could do intros because she was so shy but after so much time she's confidently handling the intros for the normies while(no names will be said) keep forgetting the most simplist of things with 4000% confident.
Rana, thank you for being a Normie.
Its funny when Americans watch korean things .. ppl try to predict every 2 mins and be wrong cuz it aint some cheesy American series lol, yall great tho 👍🏾
😬
i don’t get how y’all think he’s an idiot when the step dad literally tried to bribe him into not seeing his daughter like?? 😭
looks like this is the most hated squid game reaction lol, i don't think u understand the motivations of the characters to join the game
Really happy this is gonna be more then just 1 a week!
“Here comes the workplace accident”
“Whoaaaaaaahhhhhhh!”
Best reaction 🤣
Pride? You guys think it's prideful and being an idiot if you don't want to be bribed out of seeing your daughter again? That's a singularly "special" perspective...
Imagine trying to "buy" someone's daughter off. Like, I get that that guy is an asshole who can't provide for her but he's still her father and at least deserves to get to see her once in a while
@@arafat9828 the guy is a dangerous asshole who is horrible influence on his daughter. His daughter will grow up with all sorts of issues. Not to mention the violent debtors who at any minute can show up. What happens if hes with his daughter at the time?? But lets give him a break because hes the protagonist of the show....right???
some people don't deserve to be parents, he should have taken the money and left that poor girl alone.
I just want to point out: *not everyone there is a gambler* 😂😂
Can't believe Suraj didn't say "WE HAVE TO GO BACK!!!" once during this reaction lol.
Damn, missed opportunity.
If over half the people died, how has dude got it in his head that that’s a third of the money?
because a 3 is bigger then a 2 and therefore logically 1/3 must be higher then 1/2 right? because 3 is the bigger number 😂
@@MortimerFolchert 🤣😂🤣 I don’t want to think badly of Americans but probably 🤷🏼🤣
Makes me think of a reaction I saw to Bly Manor. American reactor thought the kid was a psycho cuz they were 8 and doing fractions. Like, we start the easy ones 1/2, 1/4, ,1/3, early in the rest of the world? 🤷🏼😅
@@Drummer4President okay, to be fair, we learned fractions in 6th grade when i was ~11ish😁
@@MortimerFolchert REALLY?! We start the basics in Yr1, that’s 5-6 yr olds 😅
OMG YOU UPLOADED TODAY 🥺 so happy these are frequent uploads
Fun fact: the actor playing Sang-woo is playing Berlin in the Korean version of Money Heist!! (Yunjin Kim aka Sun from LOST is playing The Inspector 😉)
There’s a Korean ver of Money Heist?! Do you mean the Korean dub of the show or??
@@aegis5131 there is a korean version on production right now
@@aegis5131 Nope, Netflix is making an adaptation, last I heard filming was a bit delayed because of quarantine but that was back in July. The cast is STACKED so I’m super hyped!!
Thank you for uploading the next Episode so quick ☺️
i’m so happy these are coming out frequently omg!!!
I really like this episode being called hell because its the episode where they go back to the regular lives
Sang Woo was trying to suicide himself that moment suffocating by the fumes
I really hope you guys get better at currency conversion. Half of your conversation seems to be debating how much money is actually there.
The points you guys raise about how many reports the police must be getting + what the showrunner said will be the focus of season 2 make me really excited
“Everyone had that cut, especially if you were an Asian or Indian kid.” Or? Lol.
aren't indians asian?
@@scapedrag7893 they are!
@@scapedrag7893 India is like the second most populated country in Asia so yeah
@@scapedrag7893 Yeah but like, people rarely call them asian in most western countries. Definitely not in australia anyways.
For real lol. Why is it so hard for people to simply look at a map of the world? Indians ARE Asians. There's so many countries in Asia but westerners seem to think that it's only China, Japan, N.Korea & S.Korea
It's not pride, the guy wanted him to stay way from his daughter. He denied the money he needed the most because he loves his daughter.
If he loved his daughter he wouldnt be such a POS and been a good father. This guy is a gambling degenerate. He has violent debtors on his tail. You think the daughter is safe in that kind of situation. What if they took her hostage?
What’s with the manager of BTS quip. You of all people should know about profiling
