Good points about some common mistakes when posting furniture adds. If it make you feel any better, I thought it was the Leaning Tower of Pizza when I was in grade Jr High too! :)
Great Post!! After seeing a post of a Chester drawers, I actually put a beautiful refinished one on Marketplace, titled “Meet Chester!” Then another line for the thumbnail something like, “This Chest of Drawers is….” It got A LOT of attention and Sold Quickly!
I really appreciate you addressing spelling! I think people are getting to comfortable with "text message spelling" - when selling, abbreviated/incorrect spelling doesn't convey the right message to buyers to be sure.
Hey Amy. Great job! It's tuff to buy at a reasonable price and sell at a reasonable price. It's finding that sweet spot on a finished piece that will be a constant flow of sales. Good job!
@@coastchickheatherjordan4891 no I didn't- I don't think I'm a big enough player to be on the radar of whoever organized it- haha! How about you? (BTW email me at amy@amydillard.com if you ever want to chat.)
I have a collection of misspelled listings. I love to look through them at random times and still laugh! Some of my favorites…. Someone tried to sell Amore’ (armoire) for $300, reduced to $200, then $100. They not only misspelled it in the title, they repeated it two more times in the description. 😂 Guess Amore’ doesn’t bring as much as it used to. Another fave…. Someone listed a “Pick Neck table” (again in title and description)🤣🤣
@@amydillardGypsySoul True. I am just getting into this. Already have my first piece ready to be worked on in my garage. Just waiting for the cold to break.

I never realized how important staging a piece really is
Well if you don't have a way to "stage" it at least make sure it looks clean and is a clear photo- haha! Thanks for watching ;-)

Sending best wishes for your future flipping!!!
When you are selling a piece of furniture, always put all the dimensions in your listing. So many don’t!
That's good advice Patricia- thanks for watching!!
