Thanks a lot for this! There arent many CLS55 instructional videos out there, so this is highly appreciated. I also started making some for the things I am working on. I was able to get the driver side mount out without the need to disconnect the steering column, but it was a tight squeeze. I used Meyle mounts on my CLS55

That's awesome! Yeah i only took it off just in case, it's a single bolt so I wasn't trippen

Time to do mine. Started getting weird codes for vacuum leaks. Was confused how the rubber hoses were popping off. Then while acting a fool in traffic I noticed the thud of my motor dropping on the mounts when I let off the throttle

Well this is probably the best video showing what to do! I got stuck on driver side on my 07e63 you can get to the top bolt from the bottom although it is very hard but doable! Don’t think the e63 has the same space with the intake off! But I’ll try that way too!

I have the same leak rn my boy cars on jacks as we speak it’s that oil cooler line be careful taking the line off the oil cooler it will rip the threads right out and that’s when it gets expensive bc that what I did

Thank you for this. Is it neccessary to disconnect the steering shaft from the rack?

Of you need the extra wiggle room yes, it's only one bolt

Any tips for putting that little top plate back on the motor mount and then installing that top bolt on motor mount. I can't seem to get the angle of the screw aligned with it the angle is too great. Plus theirs very little room to even get a wrench or anything in their, and I have one of special wrenches.

I struggled with it too, you just gotta finesse it, took me about 30 minutes

Did you feel any shaking or vibrating after you did the job? I did the same thing as you took the little 13m steering stabilizer bolt out when I did them & then finished them up everything felt good except when I went on the freeway I let her eat up until 110 & i felt hella vibrating coming from the front 💀. I think my toe is also off on my front for my alignment i got to check it out when I get back to work on monday. Thanks for the video 💪
