im a huge fan..then and now. saw them in 1989 and 2018! they just worked as a 3..i remember being so upset when Siobhan left. gay lads were all crying !
she certainly had drink "issues" when she left the band - she mentioned that before the video of Stay for Shakespeares sister she drank a bottle of vodka! She was also pissed during her apperance on TFI fridays back in 1998.She also suffered severe depression after her divorce and I'm sure all that smoking has taken its toll on her skin and voice.
Yes, another person whose voice took a tool was the Late Anne Kirkbride from Coronation Street who played Diedre. Also another person who has a Husky Voice is Jess Walton who played Jill Foster Abbott on The Young & The Restless starting in 1989 who took time away from The Show since her Husband John has Cancer. Maybe she was upset that Shakespeare's Sister didn't do well.
Yep according to Jennifer Saunders they wer some of the hardest vodka drinkers she had ever met and one of them fell out of a cab but first and was one of the funniest things she had ever scene
They looked so cute and sexy in the early 80s! And "Rough Justice" was one of their best songs ever. Jolley and Swain were much better than SAW, imo. "True Confessions" should have been a single, best song off the album.
i don't give a shit what anyone says they made good catchy songs in the 80's and a couple more in the 90's there one of the best girl groups ever Siobhan shouldn't have never left they were never the same without her and her appearance now smh she used to drink and smoke it's taken a toll on her skin it's sad seeing a attractive beautiful woman from the 80's to now how much she's aged
Tosser. I'm pretty sure Siobhan, Keren and Sara all enjoy the gays (especially since Siobhan says she wanted "Venus" to sound like YSMR which was the sound of the gay clubs in the 80s).
I think a girl group is like a boy group, something manufactured.I thought they were better than that.A good group who happened to be girls,So what a lot of good music come from girls.
They "hijack" what is bad and tacky. If the gays like it, you probably shouldn't like it..Except ironically anyway. Yes im saying bananarama was bad and tacky. You can liek them as a guilty pleasure. That's about it.
"Cruel Summer" still stands up as a genuinely great pop song.
So many of their songs do! Pretty nice
Siobhan looked stunning in the Robert De Niro's Waiting music video.
Rough Justice is a great song first heard it the other day
Bananarama too me will always be all 3 of them
It was the first song i heard from them and remember hearing it in the movie "The Karate Kid"

banarama are so amazing
I just realized that they and The Spice Girls were the only Girl Group from The UK who had Number One Hits in The USA.
Karen is the most attractive out of the bunch and she looks incredible at her age today.
Phil Miller, I first saw their video Na Na Kiss him good bye, when I was 11. I thought Karen was the prettiest one and Sarah the least attractive one.

all the songs were good but if it doesn't make the amount the industry wants its labeled a failure or a flop its all about money to record companies
Everyone's hating on Sara & Keren, I just think they're all gorgeous and lovely
Элина В. I don't dislike Sara or Keren. Siobhan was my adolescent crush but it takes all three girls to really make it Bananarama.
I love Bananarama and MrPoopFace!
Love it!!!
Also Flo Rida sampled it. Then Girls Aloud fought to release The Promise which became a smash but they hated "Love Machine".
My favroute Bananarama record was 3rd Na Na Hey Hey ( Kiss him Goodbye )
2nd Shy Boy
1st Love in the first degree........what was yours?
the greatest girl group ever !
1:58 oh dear there is a flaw in this interview it was 1988 not 1998
thats strickly bruno in the video to rough justice!!
hes on the Wow cover too !
I love hearing the word perv the way British girls say it:)) are you pervin on me you little bastud":lol
Dead or Alive saved the day again.

Siobahn seems a little wierd now sorry to say,did she use to have a drug problem?
I think she's had problems. I think she was the most talented one of them though.
They made a mistake in the documentary. Venus hit number 1 not 8
Pete Waterman is such a creep

Do you mean YMCA?

I hated Siobhan going gothic.
Siobhan always was a bit different then Keren & Sarah, but still... that never took away from the amazing Harmonies that those Girls came up with!

oh piss off cry baby LOL
Bananarama too me will always be all 3 of them
