8500 Euros - already way overpriced - and they give you Zipp's mid-tier 302 wheels on this "superbike". Screw that, Cervelo! Equivalent bikes with better wheels can be had for thousands less.
it is my dream money no object bike but i do have one issue and it is the rat axles, standard through axle is much cleaner design because there's no lever sticking out and on the spec list well money no object so wheels and tires would be swapped with something tubeless
Ok, I just found it strange since the dicsversion usallly have to be a bit more beefy (like the fork). then again if its like 19g difference, thats not much to argue about :)

I own the R3 and it is s perfect bike for all kinds of riding. Mine weighs 6.1 lbs and has Roval carbon wheels.
It interesting that Cervelo has not followed the trend of dropped seat stays.

Extra clamp on the seatpost....Can't help thinking that's an emergency fix. Should not be there if the seat clamp works properly!
When you transport your bike often, you can disassemble your seatpost without worrying loosing your fit as this extra clamp stays on the shaft.

You do have a point about being able to remove the axle lever on some systems for a cleaner appearance

The price certainly puts in in the superbike category, but a superbike is judged on so much more that merely price imo
