2:28 On a list of Pure Bondian moments, the beat when Bond digs out the knife from Stamper's chest to cut through his vest to fall to safety is fairly near the top of the list. Such a visceral, satisfying moment.
For me it all starts at 2:49 with the heroic theme, then at 3:13 up to 3:20 there is this "wavering" melody, then it goes on in a delightful rest sequence up to the piano at 3:45. Sublime!
It's the track I imagine playing in ultimate judgement day for the fate of the Universe and the long sought victory of good versus evil. Of course that sounds epic, just like this music! Goosebumps! Brrrr
I was 9 when i saw this film in cinema. I was so fascinated by Stamper's death: stuck by a missile, stabbed, going from a cool guy who thinks he won into realizing he's going to die and then getting burned and blown up. Bond ends up in the water saving his girl in the most romantic way ever.. I don't think it would have the same impact on me if it wasn't for this song on the background.
La parte mas emotiva, la que jamas saque de mi mente desde 1997 es precisamente desde el minuto 2:50 cuando Bond le da respiracion boca a boca a la coronel Ming.... exelente tema instrumental
James Bond: I may have some breaking news for you, Elliot. [Carver notices the approaching drill; Bond uses the distraction to overpower him] You forgot the first rule of mass media, Elliot! Give the people what they want! [Bond throws Carver into the drill's path]
Magnificent track, particularly the 2nd half. I can imagine it closing out a David Arnold concert.
David Arnold really understood how to compose a decent bond soundtrack he’s a great composer.
This is way more than decent.
He was a big fan of John Barry's Bond scores
Very underrated composer !
Brosnan was everything you want in a Bond
2:35 - This is the music you hear when there’s 5 minutes left on the final exam and you finally remember that formula you forgot
Hahaha
Without a doubt he is the best musical composer after John Barry.

David Arnold is an underrated composer. Let's hope scoring Voyage of the dawntreader gets him some deserved publicity.
That piano at 3:45 hits me hard, so melancholy.

Sublime!
Fantastic song, but 2:50 is where my heart's at.
It's great, but at 2:50 all I can think of is Stamper squealing as his foot explodes!
+RBMS13 Yeah very romantic :)
It's like the sound of victory.

Sounds like David Arnold's score from Independence Day after Bill Pullman says "mommy's sleeping".
One of the best tracks of any movie!
Very beautiful song. Pierce Brosnan was playing my own personal hero in this one.
PB was Bond. Daniel craig is just an action hero with the same name.
Arnold is the second best Bond composer after John Barry, IMO. I hope he comes back for the next one
me too
Goddammit what does IMO mean?
I Must Object to giving you the secret.
(In my opinion...)
Hans Zimmer is apparently scoring No Time To Die so we will have to see what his influence does to the franchise
Probably the best track of all the bonds.
2:50 omg omg omg
I could listen to this all day (and watch the film). David Arnold is so brilliant!
Right in the goddamn feels
That ending is just great.

One of the best villain deaths by far 😆
"I owe you an unpleasant death, Mr. Bond."
For Carver...and Kaufmann Jah
Stamper was Bad Ass
@@darrylruiz2573 He was probably my favorite henchman! 😀
NEIN
Very beautiful.
2:50 forward is the best
4:18 love that part.
2:28 gets me weak at the knees.
Best bond soundtrack!
just love this
M. Betford's reporting that Carver went down with the ship.
Seems Bond made it.
you can hear the john barry influences on david arnold
1:44 Legit
Daniel Craig plays the part but looks so Russian in tone. Pierce is the best bond .... period. ❤️💙❤️
Genious.
I wish there was sheet music for the piano sequence
4:35 Let's stay undercover
don't.know why this movie gets so.much hate it's great and David Arnolds score Is awesome
Why can't he score anymore big movies is a serious question 🤔.
3:45
4:18 This part plays when I Kissed Iván Zamorano like in the moviesAnd my heart starts beating
David emulared Johns style, sadly lost in past two films.
Seriously man. Thomas Newmans work doesn't work for Bond films.
yeah, no bond theme, just generic osts
I enjoyed the score for Skyfall, Spectre seemed a total re-do but I still enjoy it.
@@danielherrin I agree completely.
They’re bringing in Hans Zimmer bleh
David Arnold and Hans and Siera are the best at scoring Bond, NO CONTEST!
Alan Silvestri could probably do a good Bond score if given the chance.
Maybe the "last" Bond movie...
David Arnold needs to return to the franchise. He should end Daniel Craig's run of films.
Craig doesnt deserve Arnold.
Bring Arnold back for Bond 26!!
Never argue with a woman, they're always right. *attaches detonator pill looking thingy's to rocket*
4:34 💘
whoops, emulated, sorry
