I remember meeting Tad Martin in 1996, when he came into the restaurant that I was working in. As I was wondering why he was even in this city...a suburb of Chicago, he walked up to me to place his order. Trying to keep my composure, I told him that he looked familiar...Lol! and thats when he introduced himself! Wow what a moment! I still remember what he ordered!

This was so exciting. Adam running into Tad back from the dead. "Did we get off at the wrong stop? Is Will Cortlandt here too?" lol!! Thanks for sharing.

I do believe that Tom and Livie were perhaps the longest couple in AMC’s history without divorcing.

Absolutely! Adam was his usual superbly acerbic self here-- those barbs he threw at Tad and Brooke! And he and Gloria both have such great hair :)

Tad’s womanizing comes from a place of insecurity, Adam’s from entitlement. They get involved with the same women who are looking for a break from the other.

Housing discrimination was not “new”in 1993. The ink on Fair Housing Act in the sixties wasn’t dry before realtors, builders, banks and landlords started playing games to make sure they never had to sell, lend or rent to black people.
Case in point Fred and Donald Trump, who took Federal money to build affordable housing apartments in NYC, a proviso of which was abiding by the Fair Housing Act, and then instructed leasing offices at each building to give prospective black renters the run-around. A Federal lawsuit resulted in the Trump organization paying millions no fines.

Gloria was just window dressing here; she contributed nothing. The Tad/Brooke/Adam trio were awesome with their quips and snark.
Mary, Gloria (who had been engaged to Stuart) bartered with Adam to drop the custody suit (she would sleep with him).
I love how Brooke was quick to shut Adam up when he brought up Jamie. Momma bear.

She just didn’t want him saying anything about Jamie being Tad’s son.

I'm guessing this was the time of moving Edmund from kidnapper to journalist... Lol.

Blech, I can't stand Tad. Because of the way women perceive his looks....apparently NO woman can resist him...he can just do ANYTHING and get away with it.

Brooke and Tad were such hypocrites here. Brooke loved warning Adam's other wives not to trust him, yet how many times did she get upset when people did that to her regarding Adam? Not to mention Tad had almost no morals, just as selfish as Adam in his own way.

Brooke a sneaky snake She lies and her fans conviently forget her bad deeds. Dixie was a world class hypocrite she had no right to judge Tad or anyone. She hurt alot of people. But so did Brooke she bullied and harassed Devon Shepard. And treated Tom.liked crap forbade him from seeing Laura calling him a drunk . But allowed cokehead Mark Dalton to live with her and Laura.🤨

Don't get me started! From 1993 to 2011 Tad Martin remained a constant hypocrite. Self righteous yet terribly immoral. Let's not forget, 13 years later where Tad buried a man alive, tortured him for weeks and framed Dixie for his murder. Yet no one in Pine Valley -- except Dixie -- knows that he did it. He killed a man and never once was held accountable. And still, the next five years after that, kept passing judgment on everyone in town, especially Adam.
