I was a user of drugs and alcohol. Filled with hatred, bitterness,anger, and pain. I was depressed and Jesus delivered me. I am set free. I have experienced the great touch of God. I know God intimately. My prayer life has changed, and my salvation in Christ has been restored. The Holy Spirit is present in my heart every day. I read and understand the Bible differently after the encounter I had with Jesus. Lord, your love for us is unmeasurable. No words can describe the joy I have when Im in the presence of the Most High God. I shall live to testify and talk of the Goodness of God.
@brockjackson5959 I can not necessarily tell you how to do it because my methods might not fit yours. However, I will tell you how I learned to grow closer to God. I repented wholeheartedly. I got so broken that I begged for God's mercy. I learned to be fully rested in God. I surrendered my all. I learned to write down my prayers instead of saying them. I made sure that I read the word of God with understanding at least one per day or once in two days. I cut off every person in my life who is not leading me to Christ. I started listening to Gospel worship songs. I started following Pastor Peter Tan Chi's teachings about Jesus Christ...I learned a lot from his teachings. And I learned to listen to the Holy Spirit. I started fasting and praying. It is still a work in progress as I am still learning, however with this method I can say I've seen God in my life....John 15:7 God Bless you

I remember back when I was 8 and in school we would have religious sessions and they always sang this song... I recall very well telling my friend "I am tired of this song, we always sing it" (I wasn't from a religious family at that time) and he answered me with a disgusted look😂 and he was like "We are singing to God not you" it was at that moment I had a revelation not sure what kind of revelation but that event still plays in my head very well. Now that I am older and more understanding of how great God is I see why my friend answered me like that... Don't know where he is right now but I pray we all that kind of boldness to answer people when it comes to standing up for our great God💖

Brothers, the Lord showed me 2 months ago, an extraordinary vision, regarding the DAY OF THE LORD. I saw myself outside, among the people, and suddenly, an immense light, which encompassed everything, coming from above, of an unimaginable force and power, hit us unexpectedly. At that moment, I didn't have time for anything, I just managed to shout: OH MY GOD! I woke up instantly, and I heard a voice in my head (I knew it was the Lord), which told me: GOAL! And then I told him, remembering that in the BIBLE, it is written that the Lord's Day is a day of great auspiciousness, as it has never been before and will never be again, and I asked Him if this is what we must do, when we see this light. The LORD answered me that that LIGHT is HIM and that our GOAL from that moment, for salvation, is to CRY FOR HIM!! What I can tell you, after this experience, is that the ONLY thing we need is FAITH in the LORD. Believe me, nothing will save us on that day, except HIM! Glory to our Lord! AMEN!!!
I am so Pleased You mentioned LIGHT, Mostly, when I would be touched during Worship in my old Church mainly I would scream uncontrollably LIGHT as many time as the Spirit led me. Inside of me I would feel so saturated with bubbling strength of Joy filled desire to Worship HIM our LORD, in my natural self I would be focused at a certain position screaming LIGHT but not seeing the actual Light with my natural eyes. This used to happen more during my praying in tongues during Worship. May the Name of our Father in Heaven, our Lord JESUS CHRIST, the HOLY SPIRIT BE GLORIFIED IN US HIS Creation.

Sound like you need someone to pray over you for deliverance. We were not given a spirit of fear by God. Look up binding the strong man as there is a spirit of fear and if you have anxiety all of the time sounds like you need deliverance prayer.

I remember back when I was 8 and in school we would have religious sessions and they always sang this song... I recall very well telling my friend "I am tired of this song, we always sing it" (I wasn't from a religious family at that time) and he answered me with a disgusted look😂 and he was like "We are singing to God not you" it was at that moment I had a revelation not sure what kind of revelation but that event still plays in my head very well.
Now that I am older and more understanding of how great God is I see why my friend answered me like that... Don't know where he is right now but I pray we all that kind of boldness to answer people when it comes to standing up for our great God💖

And then I told him, remembering that in the BIBLE, it is written that the Lord's Day is a day of great auspiciousness, as it has never been before and will never be again, and I asked Him if this is what we must do, when we see this light. The LORD answered me that that LIGHT is HIM and that our GOAL from that moment, for salvation, is to CRY FOR HIM!! I am so Pleased You mentioned LIGHT, Mostly, when I would be touched during Worship in my old Church mainly I would scream uncontrollably LIGHT as many time as the Spirit led me. Inside of me I would feel so saturated with bubbling strength of Joy filled desire to Worship HIM our LORD, in my natural self I would be focused at a certain position screaming LIGHT but not seeing the actual Light with my natural eyes. This used to happen more during my praying in tongues during Worship. May the Name of our Father in Heaven, our Lord JESUS CHRIST, the HOLY SPIRIT BE GLORIFIED IN US HIS Creation.

Sound like you need someone to pray over you for deliverance. We were not given a spirit of fear by God. Look up binding the strong man as there is a spirit of fear and if you have anxiety all of the time sounds like you need deliverance prayer.
