Can't believe that Metroline converted some only ~13-15 year old Volvo B9TLs to driver training, when even here in London, we still have some slightly older buses in service.
Not sure if your aware of this or not but Stagecoach South West in Devon are due to transfer 50 buses from Stagecoach Manchester next year for Plymouth and Barnstaple and Exeter. Exeter is due to get some of the 64 reg E400 MMC's all in local livery (including the one in the poppy livery), Barnstaple is due to get some of the 08 reg E400's and Plymouth is due to get some of the 65 reg E400 MMC's.
Not sure where you heard this but unless this is to replace what few Tridents we have left down south, I don't see us having the depot space available to take on that many new vehicles. Besides, when Torquay get their electric fleet, I should imagine all of their diesels will be cascaded to the surrounding depots. Especially the 153XX Scanias
Some of these bus models are quite similar to those in singapore except most have 1 door only. Also lots of things have been happening in Singapore: - SBST Ang Mo Kio Depot is Closing Down Soon - Svc 59 Volvo B5LH got redeployed onto 105😮 - Buangkok ITH is opening soon while Compassvale Bus Interchange is closing - Some Bus amendments - First Ever Express Feeder Svc 298X - Full Retirement of C651😔

thats not a shock because they got to use what they can find. We dont have much older buses in london the oldest we got here is 2007
@@LJ07EBP2006 if u include driver training vehicles but yes manchester by average manchesters fleet age are slightly younger than londons
@@Transport-Coolfunrhalf of stagecoaches current manchester fleet is 15+ year old e400s 😂😂 wdym
Why Did They Use B5LH Enviro 400 MMCs From Stagecoach?
Bought by TfGM then run by Metroline as part of the takeover process.
The stagecoach east Scotland team wanted rid of them because they weren’t a “Standard chassis”
@@OddSpecimen40 I wonder if the 17 plates might get sold off in future as well.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they got rid of them as well from the “non standard chassis” nonsense

It's a good thing that Metroline is expanding bus operations beyond London.
Yh its weird seeing metroline in manny where MTRL really operates in the north london and hertz areas
It'll take some getting used to!

Yeah December suddenly like very happening. Punggol Coast MRT too
Wonder how many Stagecoach staff move to Metroline and how many buses off Stagecoach do they buy?
Just like Singapore bus operator handover
Not sure whether wingless mirror will be counted for training purposes as mirror are quite used during bus driver training
Seems like they will be trained on both since the buses they would be driving would likely be a mix of camera and traditional mirrors
Volvo BZLs coming to bee network??
Yes
The first bus is what model
The model is a Volvo B5LH with a E400 MMC bodywork.
Can you come to singapore to ask LTA to preserved 2 C830C sets (855 and 863) in 2039 for repurposed for food court at woodlands
LTA is anti preservation
Why does LTA is an anti-preservation? And will C830C preserved in future
And only a few C830C will preserved like C651
Will the b5s run publicly?
That’s what I want to know…
I would like to think so since they are repainting them yellow for the bee network
@@OddSpecimen40 Yes they will.
Do you know what services they will be running on?
I will miss those Strathtay B5LH’S
So will I
They should of left us with the 15 plate ones, not the 17 plates
Ha, I hope they train these steering wheel attendants good. Bee Network currently has some very poor quality steering wheel attendants 😂😂
I'm disappointed that Stagecoach is leaving Manchester, like come on man, they been here for years.
But they're still here, there are several bee network depots that they still operate
@@andrewholland1390 They're probably being handed over.
Sbs transit takeover in Manchester 👀👀👀
