"Rewind" - Farewell, Volvo B9TL (CDGE) Buses Tribute Music Video Showcase | 희진Heejin

- 27 September 2023, marks the day of the Volvo B9TL (CDGE) buses officially retiring from active service as their road taxes expire which concludes their colourful 17 year long history with SBS Transit.
The Volvo B9TL (CDGE) officially started service with SBS Transit Bus Service 21 back in 26 June 2006. Ever since then, a total of 200 units plied the roads of Singapore.
As time marches forward and the evolution of current generation buses continue to grow, the B9TLs bodied by CDGE starts to get very dated compared to the others around it. Now, it is time to say goodbye to them!
Personally, the Volvo B9TL (CGDE) has been a very big part of my childhood as I grew up. Hence, I am very determined to give these models a great tribute music video. I started working on this project since June 2022 which makes this one of my most longest video editing projects I've ever done.
Titled "Rewind" in conjuction with the song from fromis_9, this music video aims to showcase the amazing legacy of the CDGE with the concept of appreciating these workhorses while it existed without feeling sad that it's gone.
Hope you guys enjoy this. I spent way too many hours and had much headacches whilst editing this, it'll be much appreciated if you can give this video much love and support!

I am a 11 year old boy but I have ride the Volvo B9TL CDGE more than 40 times and is my childhood bus farewell CDGE😢😢
Even though nvr got to ride cdge on last day, still nice that i got an opportunity to ride cdge my last time on cameo with 7495 on 19 and lots of opportunities to ride 7484

Absolutely stunning footage that captures the memories of when the Volvo B9TL CDGEs were still very common and roaming everywhere in Singapore. The music fits very well, and the transition of the clips are very satisfying to watch! Nice work, Heejin!

Words dont speak justice of what it is actually capable of, but the transitions (including the phone and editing shot) is gracefully done :D and the showcase fully encapsulates on the theme of rewinding to the better (and worse) days of the CDGEs. Amazing!!
