Just my two cents. I don't mind the longer form vids. I usually break it up myself if I start to think things through. New here so I'll be checking out older vids and am looking forward to watching this bike progress.
Please be careful beating on the lifter blocks. That's exactly how someone cracked the front of my engine case. There's a tool for removing those. Worth every cent.
Noted. I have had good luck hitting em sideways with a dead blow. I have seen the tool but have not used on yet. I'll keep that in mind. Thanks for watching!
This was an old one so I actually have no idea what I did on that. I think I just scribed a line in the cover at the center point of the plate, but I genuinely do not remember (i'd have to go back and look).
Hi dude, Love watching the vids! I’ve got an iron head 1973 I’m rebuilding, how easy was your sprocket shaft to take out? I cannot get the thing out! Got one side of the cases of, don’t have the tool though…. Thanks

Thanks for watching!! I’m not too formal about anything and it really ends up being whatever. Some long some short. Always a crapshoot but always fun!

when you were marking the electronic ignition module position, you marked the bolt locations. Those dont move. The line up with the points cover.

I usually just tap them through with a mallet from the sprocket side, then play pickup all the bearings out of the case.
@@WrenchingWrecked the sprocket shaft for the motor side compensator I mean.. maybe I’ve muddled up the part names!
I have a Harley-Davidson 1972 looking for lower end case 1000cc if by any chance please let me know
Complete cases? I'll keep an ear out.
