Blade Wolf realized that he's always going to take orders in some compacity, but now he decides who he takes orders from, and what those orders are. That is why he is his own master now, and to that extent he's more human than many of the soldiers and orphan-children-turned-cyborg-weapons that we've had to cut down throughout the game, despite just being an android with a highly advanced AI.
Actually, the enemy cyborgs are just desperate people who decided to make a deal with the devil, not orphan-children-turned-cyborg-weapons, though it could've happened if Raiden didn't stop Armstrong and Desperado/World Marshall.

the opening "oooooooo" is so nostalgic, it's by far my favorite part of the song
i'm feeling nostalgia, i just don't know where from. i think it just gives off freedom, which is something i have loved the idea of all my life.
it made me cry because it reminded me of when I overcame depression, this beautiful game helped me overcome myself with its songs and difficulty, I always listened to the whole album in the gym

Whenever I listened to this song I feel both sad and good at the same time. The thing is I know songs are not sometimes to be taken seriously but I think almost anyone can find a connection with this song,
Sure the lyrics is about a wolf who want to break free from the pack. But what if you put your feet in that wolfs place and then listen to it. Just an example "time to leave them all behind" meaning you will start you own life away from your family who you have lived with for so long and now finally you will be "free". I listened to this when I started in University away from home and still feel the chills of starting my own simple student life.
