Thank you so much! I think there should be plenty of downloadable patterns online! Otherwise you should be able to find a paper pattern (like a mccall's) of either a bowling shirt or a short sleeved shirt!
Thanks for posting....i have a pattern for a buttoned shirt...my son wants a camp shirt...i can already manipulate the front but i want to find out if i omit the collar and collar stand and draft a flat collar it that will work...the Pattern is kwik sew 3422..thanks for any help
Yes it should definitely work, however, since you’re starting from a button up pattern and the front of this kind of shirt works almost like a lapel, i would suggest to make a toile first, draft the collar slightly longer and adjust it for fit, before cutting the actual fabric..also make sure the lining you make for the lapel part is wide enough so it doesn’t peek out!
This is a style of shirt I really like making, the asymmetric vent is brilliant
Thank you so much!!!
😊I am with you on the metal button not the plastics, or sea shel! and the shirt looks fantastics with your quality of work thank you.
Thanks so much! 😊

@@YMraaz no bro this shirt is called as bowling shirt because of the sport and lose fit of the shirt which gives comfort while playing.
