How to Make a Stuffed Dog Toy
Hello! In this video i'll show you how i made a stuffed dog toy, it's easy to make and dogs love it!
Just make sure to use a durable fabric (natural fibers are better) and that the dog doesn't break the toy and eat the stuffing, because it could be dangerous.
I always make sure to monitor the dogs when they play with stuffed toys for extra safety!

So beautiful 🤩
Very nice result. So interesting to see something so familiar as a cap being created from scratch. Thanks.
Did you prewash the corduroy? Thank you
I do prewash all fabrics, before using them!
@@albertoaisu thank you. I ordered on line. Looking forward to working with it.
Where do you get patterns like this? I have never made a hat before, but I wanted to give it a try, so I know absolutely nothing about anything. When it comes to getting fabric or patterns I don't know where you get them, and if I want to make my own I don't know where to do that or how to get started. Do you have any recommendations??
I traced the pattern from i hat i had, it’s easy to do, you can just use something soft like tissue paper, pin it on each panel, trace the seams with a pencil and add the seam allowance..or if you prefer ready made patterns you can find some online, especially on etsy!
Please explain to more
Thank you for this tutorial. I think i will use this smocking technique for my Fashion Design assessment at College. I hope i get to show you the outcome 😊😊😊. Superb teaching skill too, sir.
So what type of needle and thread are you using for this?
A thicker needle like a 90 or 100 and normal polyester thread
@@albertoaisu 90 or 100? And what's normal thread? Sorry I'm just learning all this can u be specific or show pictures of the needle and thread please
Oh sorry, 90 and 100 are needle sizes, at least for industrial sewing machines, something like needles advertised to sew denim or thicker fabrics…And for thread i buy these big cones of polyester thread, they’re pretty standard, you can find different brands but they’re all pretty much the same..Just sewing machine thread spools..
@@albertoaisu ok thank you I have a industrial sewing machine as well a few of them but I've always sewed heavy materials like 1000 d cordura but thanks for the explanation so polyester thread and basically needles that sew denim would work thank you you have been a big help I been trying to figure it out for a week or 2
@soldiercoleone no problem! Glad i could help!
Thank you so so much for making tutorial I can finally understand!!🥹
you explain this better than anyone ever, thank you for your service 😂
Thank you!!
nice work
How did you remove the stain from the nylon on the reeds?
Just taped the reeds and wiped them immediately
Send me this pdf I don't have hat please
Wow that just started trying to make a hat like this I’m Just using cotton fabric to play around with where can I find the brim😊
Thank you!! I was so confused on how to make these and you just made it so simple
Thank you so much!!!
Silk from a sea witch sounds like the sorta thing you'd need as a crafting ingredient in a video game ngl
Good shorts, I liked the shirt as well. Inspired me to sew myself a new set this summer. May I ask where in Italia you are situated? Greetings from Kenneth, Norway.
I’m close to Milan!
I love putting pin tucks into clothing. I added them to one of my late husbads shirts to give a more fitted waist. I still wear it 10 years later.
Fantastic tutorial! thank you for having taken the time! I’ve been looking online for a hat mold like yours, but couldn’t find it. Can you tell me the brand or online address please?
Hi! I just found your channel last week. Your videos on rare fibers (particularly Byssus) are very interesting! Keep up the good work
Thank you! I sew for dolls and many patterns have pintucks featured, but they absolutely terrified me
Very very helpful vedio for making hats
Where are you great one!?...
Its 1:00 pm est. From MA. Loved your video and glad to see how you finished it with a serger and sewing machine. I have 8/4 and glad you used it, now i know how the towels will look. Thanks again. Looking forward to more videos.
Thank you so much! Glad you liked it!
I am struggling with the brim! Did you make one side 5mm smaller all the way around or just on the outer curve?
Just on the curve, so the seam will be pulled towards the bottom instead of sitting in the middle
Can a regular home Sewing machine be used or do you need one of the Heavy-duty industrial machines?
It should work if it’s one of those home machines that can sew through denim as well!
I will be trying this today. Thank you ❤ 🤗😊
A step by step videp would of been so much better ..but over all a nice hat ..
Everyone keeps making the brim look so simple. Im having so much trouble with it 😫
What are you finding difficult about the brim?
Its easy
@@sotiboy so helpful thank you
What about the button on top? 😅
That’s a fabric covered button, i used to have a kit to make them but they never really looked right, so I thought would be better without!
Thank you
gonna attempt this but try for my size in a fitted hat (nu era style) rather than a fastener or velcro.
If you make a toile first to check the size, you can adjust it easily!
@@albertoaisu yep defo will do and then when i have my pattern i can make like a million caps for myself. just need to find a spurce for brims or find out what plastic theyre made from and buy a cpuple sheets to cut loads from
great video. ive just cut my pieces for this pattern in a 14oz tan cotton canvas, similar to carrhart duck canvas but thicker. ive graded the legs similar to my skinny jeans and ive got some killer black metal buckles for it. gonna have big plastic zips on the pocket and fly and ive teshaped the front pockets to be more angled on entry and squar at the bottom. cant wait to get sewing now that ive seen yours they look great.
Great idea! I’ve made mine exactly following the pattern, as an experiment, but the leg is definitely too wide, and some more customization would be cool!
Super useful!!!❤ thanks
Very nice ❤
May l have a pattern this hat
Ok, this doesn't look so scary anymore! Thank you!
Awesome job!!!
And now I know how to make pin tucks, I have a project I've been wanting to do but it has pin tucks. Now I'm going to get into my fabric stack and make it Thank you so much
Did you share the pattern somewhere? Thanks
Excellent video and so helpful. Thank you so much.
Love the color of your loom. It makes an antique looks! Wellington donc.😊
A very clear & helpful video. Thank you.
I’m glad it was helpful! Thank you so much!!
Really nice, that hat is 🔥🥰
Thank you!!
Nice..
Your work is just meticulous and tasteful. Thanks for the thorough explanation. I’m inspired and emulating your kitchen towels :)
Thank you so much!!
These are beautiful!! Absolutely
What kind of ruler is that? Where can I get one? Thank you.
That’s a pattern making ruler, there’s a lot of different types, you can find them online, I believe that specific one is called a pattern master!
I would like to learn how to do a basket weave pattern on suede. Can this be done in this technique?
Yes it’s another type of smocking stitch, it’s not exactly the same but very similar!
Once you start using handwoven towels, it’s hard to use anything else. Yours are lovely!
They’re so much better right?thank you so much!!
Thank you so much for showing this! I'm attempting a chemise that requires pintucks, but doing it by hand. Can you pin or baste the tucks in place after ironing them, so they don't move around as you sew? Hand sewing is much slower than machine, and I don't want the tucks to come undone.
Thank you! I’m happy i could help!!Of course you can, although it will be a lot of work especially if you have a lot of pintucks! If you’re worried about them coming undone around the edges, maybe you could try a stay stitch?Like you would do around a collar to avoid stretching…Otherwise you could cut the same piece in tissue paper and baste stitch them together, it’s very helpful especially if you are working with silk or fine fabric!
