People keep asking "Why would anyone do this?" Personally, I wheel both a Toyota and a Jeep TJ rockcrawlers, both running 35" tires. With an adapter like this, I can use the same spare for either rig and save money, weight and space by only having to haul ONE spare (and the adapter) with me.
Yes it will effect offset since the adapter is 2" thick and offset is the measurement of the distance from the center line of the wheel. Wheel adapters are also spacers since it will move the wheel away from the vehicle. The offset of the wheel will determine how far out the tire sits, usually the higher the better. Tire size also affects clearance so I can not accurately advise clearance only bolt patterns but A High offset wheel which is most common, and the right size tire should work well.
I'v looked on your website, cant find anything on toyota tundra 2006 6hole pattern to toyota tundra 2011 5 hole.... im praying thats not because they dont exist
Frank Payton most cases is not needed like my nissan titan crew cab is 6 lug. And toyota used to be six lug as well and perfect exchange almost. But 2007 ish toyota went back down to 5 lugs instead of 6 ! Just cause its really not needed on certain mid-range or light duty trucks by any means .
hi, I have a Nissan patro (6 lug) and a jeep Cherokee 98 (5 lug) and I want to put on the patrol the rings with 2" . how can I do that? ... which spacers I need ... the same on the video ?
Hey Richard. I watched your video about 3 times as well as watching others. I think your explanation is the best. I have a 2003 Cadillac Escalade ext with a six bolt pattern and am looking to change to a 5 bolt pattern for some aftermarket rims with 5/120. I guess I need help choosing the right ones. Mine are 6/139 I believe. Any help would be appreciated so I can do the job properly and but the right spacers and your seem ideal.
It takes a two-piece adapter to change from 5 to 6 lugs but it can be done as long as you have enough clearance for the minimum of 1.5 inches thickness
shouldn't your outside pice have an area poking out to simulate the hub the way youve made them the bolts take all the weight where the bolts should just be securing the wheel to the hub nice looking kit all the same juddt constructive criticisem
Looks like a money pit to me. By the time you bought the spacers that stick out 2 inches further, new rims and tires to avoid wheel well interference, you'd be spending well over $1000 or more...just to have 5 lugs instead of 6.
im looking to put a patrol front dif on a landrover having one of these would let me cary one spair tyer and use it front or back way cheeper than trying to swap hubs and stud patterns in the difs

To avoid wheels stick out of fender, positive offset rims will fix the issue
