At least you got something in! This was my first 48 (consecutive) hour jam, and it was just an absolute blur. I don't know how people do them regularly. 😅 There are other videos out there about making a devlog, and I'm not sure what I would add to the conversation. But if I come up with something, maybe I will in the future. 👍 If it helps, I use Davinci resolve for video editing(it's a big heavy to run) and OBS for screen recording. 🤔

I LOVED your game, I definitely played it quite a bit during the jam and was amazed that you went with mini-games for a Game Jam as if just making 1 game wasn't hard enough. And yet you managed to absolutely nail it anyway. Well done, I'm super impressed and also slightly jealous.

Looking at our analytics, a good chunk of the audience played the game for more then 15 minutes, which is kind of mind blowing for a game jam. 👀(Most people play for 5-10 minutes, and bail to play/rate the next game) I wish I could say how we pulled it off. None of us got very much sleep, and it was honestly kind of a blur. I'm just really happy that I remembered to hit record. 😅
Awesome game, fun mini games and loved the world that you got to play in. Hopefully another collab with both Art Man Oil and LightSpeed6 is on the cards.
I hope so, they're both REALLY good at what they do. 🤞 But actually, I've got Lightspeed6's music in my rogueli*e and Art Man Oil's art for the main menu screen already. So technically, we're already working on another collab. 🤣
Thanks! We probably crammed a couple weeks worth of work hours in to that game over the course of a single weekend. Very little sleep. 😅 But we're really happy with how it came out.
I would have loved to include the perspectives of the artist and musician, but honestly, 48 hours is incredibly short. I'm surpised I remembered to hit record at all.😅

@@darkvoid4017 I wish I could help with that, I'm one of those "so full of ideas I might explode" kind of people. 😅 I will say, when I do get a new idea for a game, I quickly scribble the basic concepts down in a big book, promising to go back to it one day. Maybe that would help? Have some way to jot down an idea at all times. So if something comes to you while you're out getting groceries, you'll have it for later. 🤔
The button stretching out and back is with a couple of tweens, but most of the wobbles are from the "object shake" extension. I LOVE that extension and put it everywhere in my games. 😅
