Please tell people they should never have to pay money to join an agency, the agency should be making their money from their commission from the jobs that they are getting for you. Great video!!!!
@@deekennedy6049 some do that.. which can be helpful but the stuff they teach you honestly could learn on your own and they should be doing that for free considering your performance is a reflection of them and you’re the one making them money

I would put why you’re interested in modeling and a couple things you’re passionate about aswell as your height, weight, city.. if you haven’t already listed those in the application. Make sure the agency your applying to caters to what kind of modeling your wanting to get into
I was signed for a year to a modeling agency where I live now and I dropped my contract last month because they barely got the models work! They was sending me to the same client every 3 months. I’m looking for new representation.
Don’t pay!.. go out and take your own portfolio pictures or you can even hire a local photographer to take some of you, but you make the agency money.. you shouldn’t be paying them to bring them revenue. Ask what kind of work they plan on booking for you. There’s nothing wrong with asking especially if you’re placing your career in their hands. If they’re not making you feel wanted or something feels off it’s totally fine to change your mind and find an agency that fits you.
Did you have to pay to get in with your agency? I tried getting in with an agency in cincinnati but they wanted 2K. Wasn’t sure if i looked good enough to spend that
