Crudel, perché finora

Beautiful duet from Le Nozze di Figaro. It is amazing how Mozart managed to combine the two voices, each singing at different words per minute. Yet, they come into union in the end. I added subtitles that try to reflect this musical genius. Underrated aria in my opinion, especially with this cast.

It should be available on DVD for purchase. That's how I got my hands on it. You can google "le nozze di figaro erwin schrott". There is a website called operaonvideo.com that has full operas but I don't think it has this one.
