Those fairy forms were confirmed to be from the originally planned season 9 before they completely scrapped it in favor of the reboot. The magic winx forms from 2021 that leaked have been confirmed to he the final design's.
aww...Im kinda glad since those magic forms looked out of place but at the same time ,they literally just switched Bloom and Stella's outfits with each other and gave Flora basic dress...
Well, I don't think it was an official-official confirmation. But seeing that it was only a concept art and the only photo of that fairy form, it's most likely just an experimental phase and there's zero evidence that it was planned to be a new transformation for a scrapped season, especially since it used the 3D reboot art style. We still don't really know which fairy form they will use for the final show since it's still only in early production, and all leaks we saw were all mostly animation tests and credible source (the leaker) confirmed that there was yet to be a full episode to be produced. But based on merchandise and multiple photos we got, it is most likely the magic winx forms from 2021. But the design could change since again, no full episodes are made just yet.
They only used the fact that Bloom draws in the wow series and I would love to see Bloom and Hélia interact and talk about art and spend time drawing together (as friends obviously), it would be so healthy and cute, It would make more life if the characters interacted without their romantic partners 😊❤️🇧🇷
The idea of the specialists getting more screentime and being more than love interests makes me so happy--I just hope they're magical too, since otherwise they can't really help much.
Honestly, the show aesthetically looks really good. All I can hope is that the writing is as well and they don't make the same mistakes the previous seasons had.
Seeing Aisha’s hair go from the Braided style in her casual look to a full on afro in her transformation gives me hope that the show is gonna play around with Black Hairstyles like I’ve always hoped it would. The original Winx Club had already set a president of the girl’s hair changing in transformation(Tecna’s hair grows from a Pixie cut in casual to a Bob in Enchantix, from a dedicated Bob to shoulder length in Believix, Stella’s hair is is put in pigtails as early as Charmix, and I think Bloom’s hair becomes a brighter orange in transformations. I could keep giving examples but I don’t wanna type for forever) and I always thought it’d be really cool if Aisha’s hair got to transform into Braids, Twists, locs during her performance, just to showcase how versatile Black hairstyles could be. I’d love to see them actually go down that route!
They... literely did that with her, her hair was always curly end with different Transformations they gave her braids and locks and different updos that are very much a curly 1C to 3C hairstyle and texture which is her hair originally, if there is something that was always versatile is the hair of the girls. ..
@@moonshiro they literally didn’t do? They’ve pulled her hair back into ponytails, pigtails, halftails, but it’s always been a cartoonified Afro(until WoW & Season 8 started making her hair into looser curls instead of tight curls) when I say play with Aisha’s hair more I mean do Black Hairstyles, Box Braids, Butterfly Locs, Bantu Knots, Cornrows. The show always kept Aisha’s hair to an afro and other than style the afro didn’t do much with black hairstyles
@@dani.1170 I mean, yeah, Black Hairstyles are designed to last for a few months atleast, but it’s also a Cartoon where Characters not only get a dance sequence to transform into fairies but their hair color and length can also be changed. I don’t think Locs or any Black Hairstyle for a transformation is to unbelievable
@@calicomarker I thought Bloomix did a good job of using a raincloud-look, though her Butterflix curls were considered the best look when they didn't decide to just recycle the Sirenix braided ponytail four times in a row.
I don't know why, but something about the artstyle is so warm to me ? Like don't get me wrong nothing is better than the original style, but like the aesthetics look weirdly nostalgic to me ?? I don't know the vibrant colors just give 2010's LMAOOO anyway I'm very excited, rip stellas normal bangs though curse her middle parted curtain bangs
All of their outfits are 2000s era. Also, because they're test animations, they're rough and hearken back to early 3D animation and its inherent wonkiness. The hair animation seen here is especially wonky but usually hair physics needs quite a bit of work.
Same. NGL one of the biggest problems I had with Season 8 is the artstyle. It isn’t terrible, BUT it literally looks like Barbie style or the Justice League girls use. I just can’t get around the girls looking 12 while claiming to be 16 and actually more mature than they really act. But the boys were so much worse, especially Sky, Riven and Brandon 🤮 But yeah, Season 9’s style actually looks really adorable and so much better than I feared it would. I was never crazy about the 3D models in the movies, and Season 5’s is the absolute worst one, so I’m glad to see this look actually looks pretty cute. I wish we got the original S1-3 artstyle, but I’ll take it
maybe the black circle is trying to get bloom before she even realizes her powers cause they think she’s an earth fairy, then instead of running into stella, she gets to alfea cause faragonda hears about that and sends for her
The "new magic winx forms" are just the transformations they were gonna get in the original season 9, aka not something that's gonna happen anymore. The magic winx costumes are the ones that they showed at the different festivals
It’s a bit of a shame that they’re not doing specialized transformations, especially since that seems like a burden on sales not to have that inherit variety, but hopefully things will develop, and lets pray Roxy gets justice
@@pining_tree6788let’s hope Roxy isn’t in the first season, it’s just too many main character to juggle, they need to find the dynamic between these 6 girls first and then potentially add other characters, otherwise it’s gonna get super busy and messy
Earth people not being able to see monsters is gonna be so fun! Because as Bloom discovers she has magic and sees more and more of it, people will actually have reasons to think she’s a little crazy
My poor Stella, they keep messing he around, she is iconic and actually a great friend with so much style and they just make her generic blondy rich girl everytime TT
The animation does actually look decent, and I hope there are no animation mistakes and the voices sound good, and her burning the book and throwing it in the fish tank was funny
Just a bit of context for the final image: "Lorem Ipsum" is the name of and a part of a made-up filler language with no actual meaning, usually for animation. For example, say a character is looking at a newspaper. The article being focused on is in standard English. All the other surrounding text, even potentially blurred a bit, uses Lorem Ipsum because it doesn't matter what the other articles are saying.
"Lorem ipsum" isn't gibberish, it's Latin, albeit a butchered, improper Latin. It's been used for decades as filler text when making page layouts for books, magazines, webpages, etc. That's why it's often used in shows and games as filler text for newspapers and the like
For those anyone who's confused which animation is closer to the final version ignio straffi and elisa Rosseli confirmed that the Comicon is the final version someone dm them Update both of them are not the final version but Comicon is close to it not final version but close to the final version
More precisely the one on the scene with Mitzi and Bloom in the pink bathroom (since the animation of Bloom into her bedroom is another test animation different from the others).
Honestly, the art style is my least concern. As long as the story and character writing are good, make sense, and doesn’t retcon itself every episode, this is something I could get behind. I won’t be as passionate as I used to be, I also have turned to other forms of media for entertainment, but if it’s satisfies the above, I’m sure it’ll be a pleasant watch. I will say, I immediately fell in love with this version of Bloom from that initial clip. Their fairy form give me Enchantix vibes - not sure if that’s a good or bad thing though, specifically Flora’s and Stella’s wings.
I'm the same way, Thomas. I'm very cautiously optimistic about the reboot, too. If Rainbow messes this up, it will really show that they NEVER listened to what we, the Winx fandom, wanted to begin with.
Aisha official color being teal just saddens me tbh, the argument that it’s to match her powers is weird to me because in Bloom and Flora’s case, their powers don’t actually match their outfits and that’s actually part of their charm
I think turquoise, blue-green colours suit her. I mean her enchantix had two colour palettes 🎨. In World of Winx she had purple.....much better than Fate could ever dream of 🙄
@@chenillesagoe6348 Aisha's Onyrix is actually officially designated as Slate Blue. It's a very deep almost violet indigo...the very last hue of indigo on the color wheel before you hit violet. Everyone except Musa wore their secondary colors in Onyrix. Musa retained her primary red. Stella wore teal, Flora was in jungle green, Tecna was in electric lime, and Bloom was just plum out of color options...that's too close to pink...and with her hair? Really? Why do animators never learn this? Also why has Stella of all people never commented on it in-universe?
@@iriavvf6942I swear like that’s why I loved Winx fashion so much, it never went the easy route, they understood the assignment and just let the girlies wear what really suited them
I agree 100% with the sentiment towards the fairy form looking too busy....i actually had a bit of a back and forth with an artist on instagram because I believe that these fairy forms feel like Rainbow only thinking in the present and not the future....what I mean is...Enchantix....if this reboot is successful enough to have more seasons and we get an equivalent of Enchantix...the change from basic fairy form to final fairy form won't be as striking because what makes Enchantix truly shine is how it went from simple looks to intriquate and detailed looks. So if the basic fairy form is too busy, their "super fairy" form won't be as impactful if/when it does happen.
I really hope they do keep the individualism they had in season 1-3. I do hope all their outfits stand out as their own and it doesn't always have everyone in pink and in the same style. I also hope you can see the difference in each characters personality like season 1- 3. I do have hope for this one. I really hope the writing is good as well.
If those are the fairy outfits, I wish they done better. I love their hair styles. Very unique to them. However, the actual outfits need to be more iconic like the original season. It was so simple yet so mesmerising.
Visually, I'm sad about a few things: 1) They seem to hate Musa's 1-2 hairstyle so much that they never want to bring it back. Her hair is staying long (in twisty braids, but still long). I might be the only person on this planet who prefers her short pigtails, but I don't care. I think they made Musa super unique, she looked like a little ballerina spinning on the CD, and I will forever be convinced all her transformations from seasons 3-8 would have looked better, edgier and more unique if she'd kept her original hair length. 2) Stella's fringe is gone. They gave her the same "grown-out side fringe" that Bloom and Flora have. Idk why they need another Winx with that hair. Stella's original look was way better. 3) Tecna should have kept her fairy suit with the robo-hat and the little wire-wings. That look was totally cool, and again, it seems the creators don't realise how iconic they'd made these characters and how unnecessary these changes are. 4) Aisha ...................... those braids in her fairy form look just wrong.
I was not a fan of aisha and Musa's hair in the pictures we've seen. Simply because I always loved Aisha's hair being out and curly. But my biggest pet peeve is Musa's hair, when she grew it out she was effectively was no longer as unique. Techna should not be the only girl with short hair. Also same point but helia/sky in seasons 4-8 wtf was that. Give them back their long hair
The only thing I disagree with Aisha’s braids looking wrong. I get why it looks odd to other people, but a lot of us (black women) actually style our hair very similarly these days and it feels like they’re making an attempt at giving Aisha more hairstyles that are relevant to our culture, which is nice. Maybe they could have done it a little bit better, but I actually think it suits her.
@@poppycartergraphics120 Thanks for your reply. I totally agree with Thomas when he says he's glad they're leaning into the real texture of black women's hair. I totally love her long braids when she is not transformed. What I meant with my comment was that her "transformed" hair looks overly doll-like, especially with the way it goes wide at the ends of the braids and cut so bluntly. That's what I meant, so sorry for not articulating myself better♡
World of Winx had blooms drawing hobby on blast wayy more than the original series ever did. That’s why I love world of Winx, because they had personalities not even the original series had.
Part of the problem with the OG series is that it was meant to end at the Lost Kingdom movie, but Rainbow continued it, having to course change to make it work and it stumbled and continued to stumble by introducing characters and then just dropping them, like the did with Roxie and then Daphne in the later seasons. And of course all of the little fairy friends like the pixies and pixie pets. I'm hoping they'll be a bit more consistent this time. I would like to see them redo the Dragonfire arc, but I think they said they're doing the black circle first because everyone is on Earth? For some reason...
Completely agree this is Rainbows last shot. Also the monster in the bathroom reminded me of that episode in season 1 called The nightmare gargler (sorry for that is spelled wrong to last to look it up lol).
Hopefully this reboot has a yearly release schedule because since season 7 the average break between seasons is 3-5 years like what child can keep up with that
I wonder if they are gonna tie the Wizards to Bloom discovering her powers? You know, they notice her once her powers awaken and attack her because they think she is an Earth fairy them showing up because she shows powers makes more sense than them just re-spawning because Bloom uncovered a painting xD
I heard Nabu is actually potentially returning, maybe that’s who? I’m not sure how to feel about the Black Circle wizards returning, but hopefully it actually clarifies where they came from. Season 4 was pretty vague about their origins or why they hated the Earth fairies so much. Just really scared Roxy won’t be returning and they’re going to make Bloom the last Earth fairy instead, which would completely mess up Bloom’s backstory as a long lost princess of Domino
@@kristinahuchison2511 It's a guy named Damian (lealed art showed him and he's white, from what I can tell). I like the Wizards simply because of their friendship with each other, but their arc with Roxy felt like a rehash of the Trix and Bloom in Season 1, and their fate mirrores the Trix in Season 2. If they're gonna be villains in the series, I need more individuality with their arc (and new clothes; them all wearing the same colors made them less individual to me). Perhaps one of them is related to the Trix, who I hope are sisters here and that Season 8 retcon of them being unrelated is no longer canon.
@@OpticalSorcerer eh, I always assumed they were related, but not actually sisters, though they’re confirmed to be descendants of the Ancestral Witches. Whenever Icy called them sisters, I always assumed she meant in a coven sense, not actually triplets. But I did hear something about Nabu possibly returning, though he was originally planned to be back in Season 5, and I’m not quite sure why Rainbow decided to make Roy her potential boyfriend, only to change it to the random a**hole Nex. The Wizards are from Earth though, no way they’re related to the Trix in any way. Plus it never actually says why they hated the Earth fairies and hunted them down. You can’t just have a generic power hungry villain. Yeah it works for movies like Sleeping Beauty, but the Wizards never actually state to why they despise fairy magic. Were wizards in general simply less powerful than fairies, or maybe they got treated like second class citizens?? And only Dumon and Ogron had distinct personalities and powers, Gantlos not as much and Anagon is completely useless with his super speed
@@kristinahuchison2511 Perhaps it's the 4kids dub, but I recall them referring to each other as biological sisters (and even if they just said "sisters," I don't recall other witches using "sister" coven terms). I kinda like Roy and Nex, but simoly because the male characters are underrated (which happens in female-centric shows, and vice versa happens as well), but they didn't bring much to the table, and the specialists themselves feel like they should have magic powers rather than just weapons--they can't really do anything against major magical threats, otherwise. Plus male fairies exist--generic ones, but they can retcon that. With the wizards, I'm referring to the reboot, so they could retcon that. They don't have to, but they can. I agree thay "evil for the sale of evil" isn't very fascinating, so I like the idea that maybe they were outcast by the magical community for whatever reason (perhaps coming from magical families but not having any themselves) and sought out to annihilate fairies, who were the symbols of magic on earth, perhaps stealing magic in order to get stronger.
@@OpticalSorcerer eh, I’m pretty sure Nick is the only dub that had them actually call each other sisters. But for some dumb reason Nick retconned them being descendants of the ancestral witches, I guess just the Trix were random witches that they manipulated into finishing their quest to obtain the Dragon Flame. Like, in that dub they also retconned Daphne from actually getting killed in the battle of Domino (or Sparx as I like to call it) to being cursed as a spirit without a body. Which is so stupid because it was Nick’s way of getting around death in a cartoon, same reason why Nabu’s death confused a lot of people because of Morgana’s dialogue, stating he’s asleep, not actually dead. Well, the primary problem with Roy and especially Nex is they’re mainly replacement love interests for Aisha. Roy himself barely appeared in Season 5, then in 6 his main deal is constantly fighting with this arrogant showoff who constantly tries to make him look like an absolute fool in front of her. They don’t even have any origin story for Nex or why he and Thoren all of a sudden appeared in Season 6. And Thoren has even less character aside being Sky’s cousin and purely a way of getting Daphne out of the picture. She doesn’t even become queen upon marrying another royal, so why?? And frankly, I DESPISE Daphne was made crown princess instead of Bloom, considering from Season 1 it was pretty obvious Bloom was going to be the future queen of her planet. But yeah, Roy doesn’t have a point at all and then randomly doesn’t appear anymore. They don’t even give him closure if he decided to return to Andros as a soldier or what, and apparently Aisha doesn’t give a crap about him or even care he chose to leave without saying anything. Frankly, I was pretty upset when Aisha chose Nex instead because of how much of a self absorbed a**hole he was to poor Roy, and it took Aisha telling him to knock it off to FINALLY clean up his act and be a nicer person. As for the Wizards, I do find them to be a very interesting concept. But the problem is they’re just handled very poorly all throughout Season 4. I already explained the issues regarding their powers, but another problem is how they still had enough magic left to create a very deadly vortex. The episode with the train, Gantlos even gets severely weakened having to save Ogron from being killed on the tracks because for whatever reason he can’t teleport out of the way. Gantlos even says he can’t feel his magic anymore and all of them get blasted by the Winx. And as more people believe in fairies and stuff, their powers keep weakening to the point they couldn’t defend themselves anymore. So why do they all of a sudden have a ton of magic in the final episodes where they literally tried killing the Winx and Nebula in Omega?? The storywriting is just all over the place and inconsistent, and ultimately plot relevant to whatever the plot demands. From the looks of it, it doesn’t even seem like Season 9 will confirm they were permanently imprisoned in Omega and somehow broke out.
It makes sense for fairy/witch hunters to play a bigger role in the story then what we got in season 4 Bloom, Roxy, Selina and Eldora were on Earth so they could have been looking for them
Seeing the Black Circle on that poster signals to me that they might be remixing the story beats to create a new flow for the plot. Which is interesting to me since I've felt the need to do the same when imagining an Winx rewrite. Starting with the Black Circle feels appropriate since Bloom's story starts on Earth and it makes sense that she'd end up on their radar. It could create a new element for the start of Bloom's arc too, if everyone assumed she was the last of the Earth fairies (and was pursued by the Black Circle for it) only to find out that, surprise! She's actually the fairy of the Dragon Fire. If they played their cards right, it could create rich world- and story building for new fans, as well as a plot twist with the reveal of the true source of her Winx. Plus, in general, reordering events would help solve a lot of the issues with the timeline and retcons that the og show had. I hope they go that route.
I'm so conflicted about Earth having magic and fairies at all, because I feel like Earth having its own magic undermines the point that Bloom is a magical person from a world without magic, and arguably diminishes the point of her adoptive family backstory. Bloom doesn't need to come from Sparx/Domino/the magix universe at large if Earth has fairies. I do think that the dragon fire storyline really isn't necessary, at least right away. Having Bloom's powers be totally unexplained and unknown is great intrigue, and even makes it ambiguous if she's actually from earth or not. I just hope there's more earth stuff in general, I was always disappointed how quickly Bloom acclimated to Magix and how little culture shock she experienced past the first few episodes. I always think of Bloom asking where all the dragons and castles are and Stella telling her "that's fairytale stuff!". I wish we'd have gotten the reverse, with Bloom far more shock and awed whenever they went somewhere actually fantastical.
That "Diet Cosmix" for Bloom kinda gives me low-budget wannabe Sirenix/Cosmix fusion vibes because she has the Sirenix hair and the arm ribbons and bubble skirt from the season 5 version, and the Cosmix gogo ankle boots. But again, despite this being a reboot I believe that these "fairy forms" that the girls donned are probably just prototype because there's no way in hell that their first form, Magic Winx/Charmix, should be that highly detailed it looks like another form that they "earned" from saving a dinosaur or something because lack of plot says so
I kinda like the new artstyle so far. The biggest problem I had with season 8 was that the characters looked like Bratz dolls, which made them look way younger than they are supposed to be.
Okay, look. I had the same reaction when I heard about Monster High getting rebooted. I was skeptical and wasn’t really to keen on watching due to nostalgia. But after watching it, I found that it was pretty good and enjoyable. So let’s not judge it, let’s watch and see where it goes.
1:00 I feel that so much. When I was younger for some reason I thought miraculous ladybug ended after season 3 and I cried for three hours straight. Now when a series is over I'm just like well- gotta watch smth else :D
And also I like how they're actually giving Bloom back her hot-headedness does she used to have like the reason why we love bloom was that she wasn't perfect like she got mad she has feelings she has ups and downs but then after season 3 it was all just no more of that she had to be perfect now perfect perfect perfect perfect perfect perfect perfect perfect perfect no no one wants that so please give us hot-headed cinnamon roll bloom
As a black person I do not like the stereotyping that is being done to aisha it seems to me like they're saying "I wonder how to make her more black" when she was good representation to begin with and I feel like all their outfits lack personality and seem very uninspired
I don't like that she's the tallest one either. There's nothing wrong with being tall. Tall black women are beautiful. It's just also a common trope for black women to be portrayed one way in animation and media by being the "authoritarian" or "more serious" one and other tropes. I also don't like that Musa is so short and small, it also feels like it's perpetuating to the "dainty Asian girl" portrayal. Like how often do we see these physical traits reversed with the black girl being the small dainty character and the Asian girl being the tallest one?
the original colour palette for the transformation was just effect I hope they don’t change it like layla’s green and bloom’s blue was just so charming in the perfect way and i loved the individuality of their wings and the shape was just *chefs kiss*
Just screwed up 2 drawings that I worked really hard on and trying again, so I really liked the little clip of Bloom being frustrated at herself for not being satisfied with her drawings ❤
I’d say the first movie actually was pretty good, the second movie had some really weird changes I didn’t like, but the third movie felt like an unfinished episode from season 5 tbh. Though yeah this artstyle is kinda cute
I like Bloom and Mitzi's 3D designs in this and the environments look pretty, which is important for me because Winx Club is often very good at creating interesting and visually striking locations (even in the bad seasons). Though I still prefer 2D for Winx Club. The thing about Winx Club that made it stand out visually from other cartoons was the CGI environments, but with 2D characters in them. As a result of this switch to full 3D everywhere, it isn't as interesting as before. However, if Straffi wants to commit to 3D animation, the way it looks now is something I'm willing to accept (it at least looks MILES better than season 8's artstyle). But of course, a show's quality all boils down to the story, direction, writing and the characters. If Rainbow can't get these right then what's the point?
I love how iginuo recognised the older fans wanted more than the childish storylines being pushed out by nick, but I really wish they hadn’t gone to the extreme character butchering that happens in fate. Surely there’s a middle ground?! 😭
I hope they get great writing and story structures, kind of like seasons 1 and 2 but even better, I don’t think people realize just how much potential winx has as a material
So, firstly; this video was wonderfully put together; and, with such a grand creative vision, specifically. Then, I would like to add; about , how this video really touched upon the details of Bloom; and, how relatable her emotional cognitive processing is. Specifically; her cognitive functioning is undeniably personable and naturally expressed; in, all of her expressions, for her own character. Thank you, for this well thought out video. ✌️
the thought of winx coming back and capturing a new generation is very exciting to me, as an older fan ofc i'd rather have a continuation of the og season 1-3 series w a dark tone but i know that's unrealistic so this is nice! beats "fate" but then again everything does lolol
I don't want this reboot to be bad because I never want anything to be bad. I want this show to reach or even surpass its predecesor. Or at the very least, I hoe that it can figure out what it wants to be and who it's for. But, still, knowing the history of this franchise and the company, all I can tell myself is "high hopes, low expectations." If it's great, then awsome, if it's alright, then fine, if it's bad, I'll be dissapointed but not devastated.
We are *living* for pyromaniac Bloom! Also: Bloom having to save Mitsy from a monster is getting my hopes up that magic on Earth and the double life element is going to be a big focus.
They did my girl Flora dirty with that outfit, it makes her look too "busy". Unless they're trying to say "She busy as a bee", but no 😢I hope they change itt, she the sweetest gal of the group! Plus she loves plants, She'd look amazing in simple colors, and more subtle prints. Like her original design!
We get another nod of sorts in Season 6, where Bloom finds a very old drawing of her and Selina in the Flower Field near Eldora's cottage, and the field is covered in the flower they got as a clue in China
Yeah, I’m glade they appear to be putting Bloom’s artistic traits back, I feel that was a big missed opportunity in the live action, if they could have done ANYTHING to make that abomination even SLIGHTLY better it would have been let the girls have their original personalities. Have Bloom be an (aspiring)artist, Flora(or “Tara”) a big girly nature girl, Stella a fashionista princess etc. hopefully they’ll at least TRY to do that in this reboot.
Great Job as always unicorn of war. I just went through a crappy break up and your video made me feel like it's gonna be ok. If winx can come back and be solid just maybe all things can heal.
I’m honestly intrigued about the reboot. Any Winx content I’m in I’m up for anything Winx related The new clips look fun Can’t wait to see the surprises the reboot has in store! It’s also great that Bloom’s still an artist I honestly loved the blue & pink in Bloom’s outfits in season 5 onwards.
They also confirmed a trix spin of series here’s the question is it going to take place in this reboot time line. The season 1-8 time line or in its own continuity
the new fairy forms... they definitely prioritized "busy" over style. i wish they'd mix it up with the silhouettes- the mod dresses with are hit or miss with mostly misses. i guess they were trying to keep it more modest for the kids? i do like aisha- as you said turquoise is always gorgeous on her and the lilac is nice! i like how the slit in her skirt calls back to her og magic winx and has the shorts under, and imo the bodice piece with the wave... hem... structure bit is really cool. i like how the wrap structure of musa's top part is like a musical staff, and the asymmetry of the ruffle cuffs on her wrist and bicep are also a reference to her og design which is a good point even if theyre not my thing. for tecna the retro scifi of the mod dress really works for her, cosmix was good like that for her too. flora's hair IS great and i love the little green headband and the almost butterfly markings on her wings... bloom's hair is also cool. i like the beads and the raids and high pony on her- it reminds me of how bloomix made her look kinda fierce, but aside from that she and stella are incredibly nothingburger to me. the athletic bottoms under the skirts arent working for them, bloom's ruffles and the purple and the patterning give her more of a water vibe, the wide cuff slouchy boots are just kinda there. stella has a. fur????? fur skirt?? what are her boots. why do they have wings. why the front-back color gradient why the plain random pink necklace? stella im sorry theyve done this to you 🥲
I'm really hoping that the writing team listens to the good faith criticism. No older fan is asking for winx club to be mature, we just want good story telling.
Idk why but they all look like AI characters in my opinion I wish they just went on with season 9 in my opinion but I’m happy they changed it because season 8 was a tragedy Edit: and I’m not even going to mention Stella’s outfit she was such an icon but now rainbow made her look like a scraped Barbie design and the others fits some are good and some are just……..(rainbow don’t come for me)
Ooo... maybe we're getting more about the school because Stella was sent to the school as a normal student because something is going on in Bloom's hometown.
This might feel hatery of me but I don’t like how short they made Musa and how tall they made Aisha. I just never imagined them those heights so it just looks weird to me. It feels wrong ngl. also I wish they just stick with Aisha’s original colour palette she always gave me earth girl in the sense of the colours she wore ya know. The mainly greens, white, cream, bits of pink and the light blues
Lowkey surprised to see the love for Aisha’s hair because as a black girl I hate it. Like they were trying to go for pom-pom box braids, but the execution is not there. The ends are too long and they aren’t rounded out so it just looks awkward as a black hairstyle. There are so many different black hairstyles out there that they could’ve chose if they’re choosing to embrace Aisha’s blackness and I feel like this is not the one. I would’ve loved to see Aisha with bubble braids or some people call them poodle braids. I know she would’ve slayed those or twist or goddess locs or butterfly braids or even an actual Afro, not the looser curls that she usually rocks an actual Afro. But this is just a poor design like the pigtails just don’t do it for how they designed the hair and it could’ve worked better if all her hair was down, but it’s not so it doesn’t work and I’m just not feeling it
as an artist I can say I do relate. I swear I redo a single pose in the sketch phase ten bajillion times, and then I’m constantly adjusting the lineart in the coloring phase. At least it ends up looking good I guess.
lmao I had the same reaction to that clip of arsonist Bloom. "Oh my god! She has a personality! There's hope!!!!!" The fact that we got more personality in that tiny little clip than we've gotten in entire seasons recently......😬
I also hope we get to see Roxy sometime in season 9 because she should've been introduced during the school break. Same with both Selina and Eldora. Like, it'd make far more sense in season 4 and 6 if they were introduced in the first season
aisha not being in green upsets me 😭and also, her being in turquoise gives me the vibe they will totally forget her iconic morphix and make her a generic water fairy ☠
Even though I'm liking most of we've seen so far (my biggest issue is Bloom in Pink) but I'm also cautiously optimistic. We've been burned by Rainbow far too many times to trust them blindly. Fingers crossed the Reboot is good
Honestly i like the girls design, i will agree maybe her shirt could been tear blue or light blue idk, but when it say reboot, is it like season 8 with the soft reboot or it going back to from the beginning
This kind of makes me wonder if the Trix and the Black Circle Wizards will interact at all. They missed it the first time around(probably for the better) but i think it would be fun to see
Rainbow please listen to your fans and don't wreck the series again this is your only chance to fix it after this there's no coming back hopefully they listen to people like unicorn of war and actually make a show that's good because the main problem with Winx Club was that in the later Seasons they forgot who there was a demographic was and they started trying to Pander to everyone which made the pattern of nobody and nobody ended up liking the show cuz they made a terrible show that was just lazy and bad transformation for certain things to be used for only that thing like in season 8 they stop using stuff like Sirenix for when they were above water even though you're literally in the water and that form would suck outside of the water because that's the way this craps work so let's not get our hopes too high but let's keep hoping our hearts
Those fairy forms were confirmed to be from the originally planned season 9 before they completely scrapped it in favor of the reboot. The magic winx forms from 2021 that leaked have been confirmed to he the final design's.
Are those the ones that look like the OG Outfits but a bit more jumpsuit-y?
Because I like the approach
@@CormacThunderStar yeah those
Thank god 😭
aww...Im kinda glad since those magic forms looked out of place but at the same time ,they literally just switched Bloom and Stella's outfits with each other and gave Flora basic dress...
But the design could change since again, no full episodes are made just yet.
now i really wish for a moment where Stella is posing for Bloom, and she says "Draw me like one of your magical girls"

They only used the fact that Bloom draws in the wow series and I would love to see Bloom and Hélia interact and talk about art and spend time drawing together (as friends obviously), it would be so healthy and cute, It would make more life if the characters interacted without their romantic partners 😊❤️🇧🇷

That would be awesome 🤩🎨
Honestly, the show aesthetically looks really good. All I can hope is that the writing is as well and they don't make the same mistakes the previous seasons had.
True
Imagine if Bloom gets mad at Mitzy and clumsily commits arson around school as a montage. I'd eat that up.
oh yeah I can see that
Seeing Aisha’s hair go from the Braided style in her casual look to a full on afro in her transformation gives me hope that the show is gonna play around with Black Hairstyles like I’ve always hoped it would.
They... literely did that with her, her hair was always curly end with different Transformations they gave her braids and locks and different updos that are very much a curly 1C to 3C hairstyle and texture which is her hair originally, if there is something that was always versatile is the hair of the girls. ..
i feel like ive aeays seen her with different hair styles lol. Also locs feel more long term and permeant
I completely agree, I’m actually excited for Winx and what it’s going to look like, and how will there lives be and what their lives around school.
hey twin
this style looks so much better than the cosmix art syle and leagues above the show/movie cgi

That's why it's often used in shows and games as filler text for newspapers and the like
For those anyone who's confused which animation is closer to the final version ignio straffi and elisa Rosseli confirmed that the Comicon is the final version someone dm them
Update both of them are not the final version but Comicon is close to it not final version but close to the final version

I'm the same way, Thomas. I'm very cautiously optimistic about the reboot, too. If Rainbow messes this up, it will really show that they NEVER listened to what we, the Winx fandom, wanted to begin with.
True thats why im nervous rn
Also why has Stella of all people never commented on it in-universe?
istg aisha green truther, the fun part about winx designs is when they dont match their power's color!!!!
True I want enchantix back
I agree 1000000000%
I really hope they do keep the individualism they had in season 1-3. I do hope all their outfits stand out as their own and it doesn't always have everyone in pink and in the same style. I also hope you can see the difference in each characters personality like season 1- 3. I do have hope for this one. I really hope the writing is good as well.
If those are the fairy outfits, I wish they done better. I love their hair styles. Very unique to them. However, the actual outfits need to be more iconic like the original season. It was so simple yet so mesmerising.
'yassified bathroom' got me so bad for no reason 😭
Same 😭
Visually, I'm sad about a few things:
1) They seem to hate Musa's 1-2 hairstyle so much that they never want to bring it back.
Woah, that's a lot of good points
I was not a fan of aisha and Musa's hair in the pictures we've seen. Simply because I always loved Aisha's hair being out and curly.
But my biggest pet peeve is Musa's hair, when she grew it out she was effectively was no longer as unique. Techna should not be the only girl with short hair.
Also same point but helia/sky in seasons 4-8 wtf was that. Give them back their long hair
@@whatteamwildcats4033 I get it reversed haircuts 😂😂

You know, they notice her once her powers awaken and attack her because they think she is an Earth fairy
them showing up because she shows powers makes more sense than them just re-spawning because Bloom uncovered a painting xD
✨The wizards of the uncovered painting✨ But yeah that would be really cooooool
Most of it looks good, but I need good writing. We have a new specialist and returning villains, so I hope everyone gets more development.
It makes sense for fairy/witch hunters to play a bigger role in the story then what we got in season 4
Bloom, Roxy, Selina and Eldora were on Earth so they could have been looking for them
Seeing the Black Circle on that poster signals to me that they might be remixing the story beats to create a new flow for the plot.
I wish we'd have gotten the reverse, with Bloom far more shock and awed whenever they went somewhere actually fantastical.
im so happy bloom is an artist again. it was one of the reasons i really liked her as a kid.
Ive been crossing my fingers for this reboot
I love the Winx Club is going back to their freaky creepy monsters that made you shriek with fear
That "Diet Cosmix" for Bloom kinda gives me low-budget wannabe Sirenix/Cosmix fusion vibes because she has the Sirenix hair and the arm ribbons and bubble skirt from the season 5 version, and the Cosmix gogo ankle boots. But again, despite this being a reboot I believe that these "fairy forms" that the girls donned are probably just prototype because there's no way in hell that their first form, Magic Winx/Charmix, should be that highly detailed it looks like another form that they "earned" from saving a dinosaur or something because lack of plot says so
Saving a dinosaur lol 😂😂
I can totally see them doing that and receiving a new transformation for it
I kinda like the new artstyle so far. The biggest problem I had with season 8 was that the characters looked like Bratz dolls, which made them look way younger than they are supposed to be.
Do you ever seen Bratz?! They always looked more mature than young, but I agree they looked so young
I always thought they looked like the animated Barbie series lol.
Okay, look. I had the same reaction when I heard about Monster High getting rebooted. I was skeptical and wasn’t really to keen on watching due to nostalgia. But after watching it, I found that it was pretty good and enjoyable. So let’s not judge it, let’s watch and see where it goes.

Hmmm she deserves better
Literally! They could have just recreated her season 2 fit it was so cute and iconic. Why’d they have to put her in some sporty looking fit…
Like how often do we see these physical traits reversed with the black girl being the small dainty character and the Asian girl being the tallest one?
the original colour palette for the transformation was just effect I hope they don’t change it like layla’s green and bloom’s blue was just so charming in the perfect way

I’d say the first movie actually was pretty good, the second movie had some really weird changes I didn’t like, but the third movie felt like an unfinished episode from season 5 tbh. Though yeah this artstyle is kinda cute
0:21 At least they remembered Techna this time!!!
True
If they get Liza Jacqueline to voice Bloom for the English Dub and Lisa ortiz to voice Icy it will be worth it
Yes please
we have good news, Rainbow has realisted a very very new video on deeloptment on their winx club offical channel
Oh i like how they have different heights now
I like Bloom and Mitzi's 3D designs in this and the environments look pretty, which is important for me because Winx Club is often very good at creating interesting and visually striking locations (even in the bad seasons).
Bloom's dorky face, i swear she's trying to do an impersonation of marinette from miraculous
Girl that's literally how they planned out the animation stop thinking that Bloom is a real person 😭🙏
I think they mentioned somewhere that they were trying to beat out miraculous in popularity, so it may not be a coincidence.
@@tamiej.5558 that literally was never said miraculous mediocrity has rotted y'all's brains so badly people think any 3d cartoon is bootleg miraculous
@@Al17x 🤭
Not yall comparing to that stalker Mariette bfrr
I better get kiko😡
FR
What about world of winx?
In that pic of the transformations, Stella's just looks like Cosmix, especially the top part of the dress. But Flora looks so gorgeous
Are you still doing Winx club rewrite season six episodes again?
Any Winx content I’m in I’m up for anything Winx related
The new clips look fun
Can’t wait to see the surprises the reboot has in store!
It’s also great that Bloom’s still an artist
I honestly loved the blue & pink in Bloom’s outfits in season 5 onwards.
I'm sorry THERE'S A REBOOT???? and I'm just finding about this just now??
Wow you just found out?
The animation looks like a better Miraculous look. (Zag take notes)
They also confirmed a trix spin of series here’s the question is it going to take place in this reboot time line. The season 1-8 time line or in its own continuity
I love art and I know some of the frustration when you can't get it right but in the end you'll get it right
the new fairy forms... they definitely prioritized "busy" over style. i wish they'd mix it up with the silhouettes- the mod dresses with are hit or miss with mostly misses. i guess they were trying to keep it more modest for the kids? i do like aisha- as you said turquoise is always gorgeous on her and the lilac is nice! i like how the slit in her skirt calls back to her og magic winx and has the shorts under, and imo the bodice piece with the wave... hem... structure bit is really cool. i like how the wrap structure of musa's top part is like a musical staff, and the asymmetry of the ruffle cuffs on her wrist and bicep are also a reference to her og design which is a good point even if theyre not my thing. for tecna the retro scifi of the mod dress really works for her, cosmix was good like that for her too. flora's hair IS great and i love the little green headband and the almost butterfly markings on her wings... bloom's hair is also cool. i like the beads and the raids and high pony on her- it reminds me of how bloomix made her look kinda fierce, but aside from that she and stella are incredibly nothingburger to me. the athletic bottoms under the skirts arent working for them, bloom's ruffles and the purple and the patterning give her more of a water vibe, the wide cuff slouchy boots are just kinda there. stella has a. fur????? fur skirt?? what are her boots. why do they have wings. why the front-back color gradient why the plain random pink necklace? stella im sorry theyve done this to you 🥲
I'm really hoping that the writing team listens to the good faith criticism. No older fan is asking for winx club to be mature, we just want good story telling.
Visually, it looks nice. Still holding my breath to see if it gets better.
Idk why but they all look like AI characters in my opinion I wish they just went on with season 9 in my opinion but I’m happy they changed it because season 8 was a tragedy
Edit: and I’m not even going to mention Stella’s outfit she was such an icon but now rainbow made her look like a scraped Barbie design and the others fits some are good and some are just……..(rainbow don’t come for me)
I like that Bloom's new look, and her clumsy scene.
Ooo... maybe we're getting more about the school because Stella was sent to the school as a normal student because something is going on in Bloom's hometown.
Bloom was supposed to be a artist in the Winx show because in one episode she sculpted a fire dragon out of clay.
But this is just a poor design like the pigtails just don’t do it for how they designed the hair and it could’ve worked better if all her hair was down, but it’s not so it doesn’t work and I’m just not feeling it
I liked the color scheme they gave for Stella’s fairy form. It’s like a sunset color scheme and she’s the fucking sun
13:18 stella's costume looks like in the mythix
as an artist I can say I do relate. I swear I redo a single pose in the sketch phase ten bajillion times, and then I’m constantly adjusting the lineart in the coloring phase. At least it ends up looking good I guess.
Bloom arsonist arc fr fr
12:35 OH SO THAT'S WHY I COULDN'T FIND THAT VIDEO YESTERDAY
They are about to just redo the first season we're screwed
lmao I had the same reaction to that clip of arsonist Bloom. "Oh my god! She has a personality! There's hope!!!!!"
The fact that we got more personality in that tiny little clip than we've gotten in entire seasons recently......😬
At least it looks decent ❤ 3D always suits Winx club though I will miss the 2D version 😢❤
I wish with all of my soul that they fix floras eyes. They're so big they're creepy
It's so adorable that little kids can see pixies
What i love about bloom transformation is that it doesnt has much pink but more purple which fit her style way better then pink
I like Aisha's braids.
It’s a full on reboot. So everything from 1-8 is gone
@@PINKIE-SNOWIE-BUNNY will they be hope stella be the fairy of the sun and the moon, or like thomas say stella just the fairy of the sun
I'm sorry for this but Aisha's hair looks like a bunch of feather dusters so I hope that they work on the ends of her hair.....
This kind of makes me wonder if the Trix and the Black Circle Wizards will interact at all. They missed it the first time around(probably for the better) but i think it would be fun to see
Was waiting for your commentary on this❤
Rainbow please listen to your fans and don't wreck the series again this is your only chance to fix it after this there's no coming back hopefully they listen to people like unicorn of war and actually make a show that's good because the main problem with Winx Club was that in the later Seasons they forgot who there was a demographic was and they started trying to Pander to everyone which made the pattern of nobody and nobody ended up liking the show cuz they made a terrible show that was just lazy and bad transformation for certain things to be used for only that thing like in season 8 they stop using stuff like Sirenix for when they were above water even though you're literally in the water and that form would suck outside of the water because that's the way this craps work so let's not get our hopes too high but let's keep hoping our hearts
