Here in Arizona desert, at 17c / 62f I’m putting the extra blanket on my bed.
The mirrors also help to reflect the heat and keep it cooler in the camper.
Your a really cool young lady, wish you well in all your ventures, you should be proud of your self all the best Andrew
Thanks, Andrew!
I just watched one of your old videos of a yellow Finch feeding on the bird feeder what a beautiful bird. A while back had this cardinal feeding on my bird feeder. Hey where's Hubert been??
I have not seen Hilbert in months, either he moved on, or nature was cruel
I don't think I could have done it without AC. Props to you. Always look forward to your new videos.
Thank you!
Thanks! My dogs Lady, Tucker, and Layla wanted to chip in!
Thanks so much to all 3 of the fur friends!
Thanks for the running updates Jenna ! Good to hear about your upgrades to wood storage. Thanks for the idea of solar remote lighting. It was warm here on the S.W.N.S. coast but not as humid as your reports. I guess it gets "sticky" the further away from the coast you go. Enjoy your fully functioning remote starter/stopper for the generator.
Thanks and it definitely got sticky here but cooling off now. Hate to complain about the heat because soon enough old man winter will be knocking!
@@gypsyjenna WINTERS suck...also down here...in Illinois!!! FYI...Jenna...Snake Boren isn't my you tube user name.... Snake 🐍...is my 2nd nickname...Boren is my real last name!!!
I was 53 minutes late for the premiere and already over 40 people had viewed it. You have a following! I'm glad you included the shot of the lake at the end.
I always look forward to watching your video's Jenna and cher have a cold one to cool down
That's the lights I have inside my camper but mine came with 3 lights.they are awesome.
Hello Jenna no good being in a heat wave and no a/c thanks for sharing another top show Beautiful lake nice new storage shed
Stay cool 🍺🍺

Great stuff Gina looks good 👍 now all you need is Hilbert and a new broom
Funny enough I purchased a new straw broom the other day 🤔🤣
@@gypsyjenna maybe purchasing a floor air conditioner they work great
I hope the snow weight doesn't do a number on that shelter. Before winter perhaps a few 2'x4' posts up from the ground off blocks to support the top bar.
@ 7:00 - I must admit to the uncovered tanks producing a small degree (temp pun) of anxiety. Cheers.
I should get a tank cover of sorts at some point 🤔
As for the snow, I brush it off when it piles up , or I did with the last shelter but then again this one is taller and I won't be able to reach that high lol
Heck ya looking good yes get that gravel put down around all the edges or you will have squirrels or other little things in there. Our temps here until today which in 80's out now but we have had 100-109f now for over 41 days. I am so looking forward to cold weather good to see you great job
The squirrels will find a way in regardless, they always do. I might have to leave the solar light on at all times and line all edges with cayenne pepper lol
Love watching your videos and progression.Place is looking fantastic can’t wait to se the next update
Thanks for being here!
Great stuff, as usual, Jenna!! Always nice when a plan works out. In future, when I reference your Bio-Dome, I'm talking about the giant and spacious new shed. You could throw a ball back and forth in there!! Fall's coming up fast...
Thank you for sharing Jenna, I enjoyed your video. Good it cools off a bit at night and gives you a break. That light from Amazon looks interesting, I will check it out. Take care.
Just found your videos, you look beautiful and love the life you are building.
We've had a few weeks of hot weather here in the south. So far, August has been surprisingly mild.
Oh good! I don't mind the heat as much as I do the humidity. It's so humid here lol
Great video, Jenna.
Digging the new shed.
Looks good.
Thanks!
That looks like a really nice shed. We're having cooler weather now. 😎
Soon time to put the fleece sheets back on the bed and reinstall the stove pipe lol
I love you your TH-cam video keep it up much love.
Love your videos, i will be looking for one or two shelters like yours, i have the trailer and a spot but boy oh boy do i have alot of work ahead of me, what is your arrangement with the land owner? My arrangement is a do 20 hours of labour a month and i have 1/2 -3/4 acre
Oh yeah when you were raking and putting down the tarps I like the way you work you move pretty quick can I hire you LOL
Nice!!
no idea if you have done it yet or not but when the season changes go buy an ac unit. they are half price. same goes for a snow blower...never buy one when a storm is on...lol. get it off season for half the price
You've got a nice homestead,.
Thank you!
Make sure to put plywood on the sides of the shed before putting wood in there. You should check out "van wife's" on you tube. The tried that last year and it failed on them. One end of the roof collapsed during winter.
Hopefully that doesn't happen 🤞
We ready for another video jenna with Hilbert and you love you screaming 😁
I learned not to long ago about saving fireplace ash. They say it is good to fill pot holes on gravel driveways, just fill and sprinkle a little water on it. It does get very solid, but don't know how lomg it lasts. Do some research and also heard there are more uses for the ash. Just wanted to share. I have ten acres and a fifth wheel in cuba, Mo Usa. I am trying the ash on my to see if it will help with weeds instead of using round up.
Cool, it also works well around your tires when your car is stuck in the snow
fans will cool it by 10 degrees, one going in one going out and you create a breeze
Definitely helps!
80°F for us would be cool in the summer months,we normally get 105°F to 115°F
Phew! I probably couldn't handle that well!
I was having the same thought. When she said heatwave in the description I snorted when I saw the actual temperature in the video. We don’t even turn the air conditioner on until it gets to 90 F here.
Hi it's Tony again first let me tell you I have been in construction for 50 years I'm also a designer and I love living off-grid in nature but back to you pleasing points you can get them and put them sit at the nearest don't fall out any type of adhesive under heat it will loose it's adhesive qualities and a friend of mine had the same setup with the shed but in the middle you will need to put some two-by-fours to support the weight of the snow up top so you just need to get some 10 ft is and make a little nutso goes around the pipe of top every couple of feet once again take care
What's with the member shoutout , oop's did it again . Hi Jenna , hey it's the same 3 people every vid ? You must not live near the coast to have temps. that high usually that's inland temps.
Memberships is another way of supporting the channel and I am a bit inland yes, though never more than a 30 min drive to the ocean lol
@@gypsyjenna So a membership is a patreon supporter and not a subscriber ? So do you smell the ocean from your place or only if the wind is blowing right. 40 k's inland about .
"Chateau Jenna" is growing by leaps and bounds! Have you ever mentioned or gone over the size of your property in any previous video? I must mention, "I have no mercy for your heat wave...here in NC it is 31c and we are talking about a cool front! (Yes I know there is a huge difference between NS and NC)"
As ALWAYS...great video! Enjoy the warm, soon enough the flip flops will be stored away.
You're right, I always say I hate to complain because our heat waves don't last long before the cooler nights roll in and before you know it you're running a wood stove for MONTHS lol :(
We don't have A/C in the southwest, we have swamp coolers. 110° its useless.
Phew, that's rough eh!!
@@gypsyjenna what's the population in your area, including any big cities. I was looking at the mileage from San Diego to the coast of nova Scotia. Like 4500 miles, Dutch harbor is 4600 from Atlanta.
Population of Nova Scotia is just under a million. Maybe more now, since many moved here during the pandemic
Are you going to build an outdoor fire pit for winter??
Have an outdoor fire pit already. Been a burn ban lately
@@gypsyjenna does it get to cold to winter burn??
Not necessarily, I guess I just don't do it much
You can put your bike in there to now
Yeppers, so pumped!
Love to watch your channel, you don't have the kitties anymore? :(
You'll see them VERY soon, trust me :)
Shit, that thing is bigger than my tiny house. lol
🤣it's bigger than mine too..more head room lol
Here I thought you were putting up a garage for your car.
Just kidding, only commenting for the views.
U Look At Least 6 ft. Jenna
Not quite lol
