I own a 97 high top with 61k original miles. Van is mint. Took a wrong turn at a car show 2 weeks ago. Ended up in the show lot. When i got to registration the guy said "this show is for classics". At this point i see ill have to park far away and walk. I tell the guy "its 25 years old with 60k miles, i can insure and register this as a classic." He took my $10 entrance fee. I parked, opened the hood and all the doors, turned on the tv and streamed a TH-cam jazz playlist. Me and my family enjoyed the show/fair. Came back later that day and had a sign on the window to report to the main booth. They had no van category so i won by default "best survivor". Got a little trophy. Told the wife " this trophy just upped the value on this baby, 3 grand." Lol
Win by default is still a win 🏆 congratulations
A conversion van is something I absolutely don't need but I want for some reason...

I have a '01, but with the high top; same exact pewter color and condition almost matches. I found mine with 98,xxx miles and those 5.7 Vortec's are BEASTLY ❤️
This Chevy Express has the best Upholstery that last. When GM or whoever bought this kind of material, they bought something special. It never seems to wear out. My 2001 Chevy Silverado has the same material and it always cleans up great. Chevy is know for putting plastic wear it cracks. My grille is cracked / it's plastic. Chevy's mirrors fall apart eventually, too. The outboard mirrors that is. I love this express van. If I'd have sold this silly house of mine, I would've bought it. Still waiting for that perfect offer. Love the Express, love it.

Almost forgot I've got a 99 E150 conversion van 220,050 miles as of today its an Illinois van, still functional still runs great!! Bought it 13yrs ago with 88,000 miles took out the captains chairs, they make great patio chairs
Not my cup of tea, but it's great to see a well maintained survivor of any kind. Somebody is going to love it.
I used to transport new vehicles that under carriage is clean super clean. Barely any rust marks. You could remove it with steel wool. Wow 🤩 what a vehicle!!!!
I have a 2008 and I use it for camping. It has a raised roof. Full Explorer upgrade. Amazing vans!

We had multiple conversion vans growing up. My latest being a 98 GMC Savana. Absolutely one of the best vehicles I have ever owned.

I’m not sure why it’s been doing that. I did order a new wireless mic so I will sound crystal clear even when the camera is far away.

So beautiful! Explorer still makes conversion vans too. Not sure if there are any other companies. But they seemingly stopped offering the camper window and paint scheme.
They do still make them but yes some of the stuff like that has changed.

I like the original alloys. But I would also like new style wheels. That’s why I’m leaving that to the next owner to decide

I had a 1990 Ford E150 High Top Conversion Van 302 Dual Gas Tanks, Blue exterior & interior, was in great shape and so wish I had it today.

I had a 2000 chevy gladiator conversion van you van tell the cheap conversion vans from high end ones if that black piece above tail lights is painted the same color as the body then 98%of the time it will be high end as mine was .but mine had a v 6 i dont know why but i saved a lot of gas and it wss a strong runner , it stood out in a crowd .it was maroon just beautiful it had different wheels than most .they were stock chevy with chrome trim rings and chrome center pieces
its interesting when you say "survivor" while I understand the sentiment Im practical, I have two drivers in my fleet that are 22 and 25 years old respectively which I dont give a second thought to as per their age...some folks its about collecting and others its practicality
100% true. It’s not a 1969 Camaro that’s untouched since new, but as far as conversion vans go, it hasn’t been “used up” for what it was intended to be built for. That’s why I call it a survivor. At this point most 20+ year old vans are gone or near gone.

I don’t have a connection, I bought mine from Facebook marketplace when I found them. Cost me $900 for 20” Denali Snowflake wheels with new tires. They were taken off at the dealer.

I sent you a email earlier regarding being prequalified by NFCU like I said in my previous email when your a disabled vet every dollar is very picky about how and where it gets spent on and I will find a way to get from Buffalo Ny to your location
