Check out this 1996 Toyota Aristo that was the first production car to ever house the legendary 2JZ-GTE! this car started the way for the mark4 Supra! i love older JDM cars like this there just so quirky and unfathomable in todays car standards.. 4 door sedan with a 3.0 litre straight 6 twin turbo engine haha

Owning the first gen Aristo, despite it's poor condition it's very awesome car to have, comfortable, reliable as hammer and feels really good to drive even with GE engine. Unfortunately, not so many of them left and it's hard to find even used spare parts for it. I'm videoing everything i make with it, it's in russian though.

I owned an aristo 147 in Japan at 2006. Damn. That shit rocks like hell.
Truth is Mk1&2 GS300 are fun to drive...regardless of whether it's a 2JZGE..2JZGTE..4.0 or 4.3 V8...there is an Engine for all Budgets👏

scotty and ryder haha I think I was more scared with the R8 but mainly for the price of it😂 this was probably the most violent turbo pull yet tho eh! And being in a old Toyota sedan you just don’t think that should be possible 😂
One of this majestic vehicles appeared on my recommended for vehicle purchases, $10k is being asked for it and it's almost mint and no rust! Debating on buying it!

I've always liked these from a young age. I liked cars then but didn't know much about cars. My friends neighbour had one so I wanted one when I found out it was a turbo lol. I am a Lexus fan in general my bro inlaw used to have a couple of early ls400s when I was young and my brother has owned a mk2 gs300 non turbo and now a mk3 gs450h. 340bhp stock the gs450h drives pretty good

I’m lucky enough to own an aristo with 400kws (on my channel anyone who’s interested) such underrated cars and I just love them the steering wheel feature and everything is so far ahead of its time

Which ECU is this guy using? Wondering what ECU can handle all that extra boost and power but still control the automatic transmission
Auto is still run by the factory ECU, haltech PS2000 runs the engine piggybacked

I have only driven a camry and am really interested in an 05 2jz gte aristo, would you say the reliability and maintenace is top notch for this car?
it would be worse than a camry im sure.. but toyota makes solid cars.. i wouldn't be to worried as long as the car has been treated right
Keep on top of it and you should be fine. Remember to do the brake fluid every 2 years or so as the accumulator needs it (if they use the type I'm thinking of)
Other than that, there's some of the twin turbo stuff like the vsv valves but that's easily sorted with a single turbo swap.
They're not much different from a normal car, it's basically a camry.

All aristos were a 4 speed, had the a340e
