    Men I skied for 13 years, then turned to the dark side for 10 years by shredding on a board (still do), but these awesome stomp it videos have rekindled my love for skiing. Bought some armada ski’s and can’t wait to hit the mountains and try all of these tricks! Thanks guys!

    the camera angle makes that droip look really small and doabloe but I'm almost certain it's way bigger and puckering than that. These videos are mega handy!!

    Ehyo Jens! Great Video as always! Since you have the new BC120, do you know if there are any Updates for the Shift? And also would you recommend the Shift as a Touringbinding? Ofc there are lighter options but how you like it? Have a great day!

    • @IRON_NIC
      @IRON_NIC 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Nico, fellow Nico here.
      I have the BC120 with the shift binding. have been on those for 3 seasons already. Did around 15-20 tours with them and 4-5 days of resort freeride.
      Going up, they are ok. i have used them on days of 1500m vertical with no problem. of course you'll feel them, but unless you look at the stopwatch on the way up, they'll do just fine.
      Skiing down, they are very similiar to a traditional downhill binding in terms of absorbtion and feeling.
      The other set i have is a 95mm Atomic Backland with a classic dynafit binding. WAY lighter, certainly better to feel less fatigued, but shift gives a smoother ride on the way down.
      If you're looking for a good balance, there's also some other alternatives, like the Marker kingpin or the atk raider, Look pivot...
      Have fun!

    Whats the technical difference between power sliding and just braking? Just a flatter angle?

    • @StompItTutorials
      @StompItTutorials  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Basically the same but Yea try to keep the skis flatter cause when power sliding you may not want to slow down. The main difference is if you do it for fun and to add some style it feels really nice :)

    Min 4, no. Don't jump up, that causes you to fall backwards.
    As he said, jumping up causes you to lean back. Its a fatal flaw.
    Jump forward over your knees and down.
    So, think of your head vs your knees. Lean the ledge, push forward and jump down. Tiny ledge like he had is perfect.
    U will feel your head move forward over your knees and set u up for proper decline landing.
    Follow his advice fall on ur butt 90% of the time...

    • @johnklaus9111
      @johnklaus9111 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can see how his wrong headed takeoff forces him yo "stomp down" or he would tail drag and fall over (which he nearly did each time)...
      Instead angle your skis to match your landing decline angle and don't jump down to flats ever. Think about it.
      If done right, landing should usually feel nearly impact-less.
      If u hitting hard, you are doing something wrong.
