- In this ski tutorial, I coach Chelsea on how to do 360s on skis the way pros do it. You will learn how to do 360s and land perfectly with 3 slightly different techniques, and if you want to become great, you at least need to learn the two main ones: pop forward and carved 360s. I feel like I have more to say on this topic, but it didn't fit this freestyle tutorial. Enjoy and have fun improving your freestyle skiing skills! Book a Camp → ⛷️ stompitcamps.com/ 🚡

This is a nice compliment to the once private 180 & 360 tutorials you added more drills/steps to the process. Thank You!
Glad it was helpful!
So much fun! Thanks for the video Chelsea, Jens and Carlos! Would love to stomp by first 360 this season.
Me too!
Our pleasure! I think this is the season for you to do just that! :)
These videos are just so good. Very educational and fun to watch. I absolutely love the positivity in them.
Very helpfull videos, thanks a lot👊
Extremely helpful! The live coaching format is really effective, and you're a fantastic coach, Jens. I wish I had you as a coach back in the early 2000s on my freestyle team -- they just threw us at jumps and said, "Try a front flip." I hope to sign up for the camp next year!
Thank you sooooo much!!!
I did my first 360° with your help! I wanna do a perfectly 360° in this season and this video is my rescue!!!
Amazing and great to hear that. Do your best to both learn to pop em well and carv, or wobble them. So you can land perfect non corked 720s too some day :P
Such a great video Jens! Chelsey killed it!
Thank you the vid turned out pretty nice. Good to hear from you and nice too see your wife came to a camp too :)
Awsome tutorials !!!! This video especially helps to teach my two kids how to 360 and 180’s safely and with confidence. Thanks
Probably use our other 360 videos instead as a guide.
Great content! Thank you very much!!❤❤❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
Fantastic tutorial, learned so much. Thank you
Glad it was helpful!
This video is fire, I’m trying to learn 360s rn too
Good luck.
Awsome
Love it!!!
Thank you.
@@StompItTutorials 50 years old and stomped 5 360s today at Breckenridge. We called them helicopters in my day.
Great video and very nice progression by Chelsea! Would love to try this out sadly no skiing this year for me :(
Thank and yes she did so well.
Thank you ☺️
Really good video I am a skier like Chelsea I’m the begging and I could compare my self pretty good with Chelsea I have the feeling next time I jo skiing I also can land nice carved 360 thanks
Great tutorial! This is precisely where I'm stuck - that and being 56!
You can do it!
Getting steezy
@StompItTutorials, what ski boots do you have?
Hey @StompItTutorials, how tall are you, and what is the length of your skis? I am 189 cm, and I am planning to buy 'Atomic Bent 85' all-mountain skis, but I don't know what length I should get.
I see thats the language used. I see that as a hardcore freestyle ski with a little rocker. The 90 or the 100 is probably a better shout.
Watch our how to choose ski length video.
What do you mean by get the hip forward. In my head im picturing hips being most forward on take off so shoulders are behind hips causing a cork. This coukd be my problem
Tucking the legs is key
hey so i struggle a lot with crossing my skis in the air while doing my 3’s.. what do you think i could do to fix that?
Do lots of 360s until you can do them on "auto pilot" then its easy to tell your mind+body to twist the feet inward. Learn a mute grab instead they look pretty compared to an old iron cross.
Our parks & side hits haven't quite been there so far in NorCal for lack of snow (could be changing!). Any tips for attempting this off rocks or road lips in off-piste? I typically chicken out and just try a Spreedie or Safety. I know PRACTICE!
Same things to have in mind of almost any feature. Pop, pop and wobble and land perpendicular.
Thanks you guys are the BEST! I'm practicing in my boots today in the living room, and going for it tomorrow in the heavy pow! @@StompItTutorials
What resort are these vids filmed at?
Laax, Switzerland. Come with ski us.
What DIN do you tighten your bindings to? Just got a knee injury trying 360s in the park because the binding didn't pop...
whats your height and weight?
@@thetwelfthman8439 182cm and I weigh around 65kg. I have them at 7 normally, should I go down to 6 for the park?
@@thetwelfthman8439 182cm and 65kg. I usually go at 7 DIN to avoid accidents at high speed, should I go to 6 only for the park and tricks and such?
@@thetwelfthman8439what should i have when im 75kg 190cm
Shit, sorry to hear that. I´m suprised considering the low din you had. Maybe the bindings up and down setting was too tight if the binding got that setting.
Also a good tip for knee health. When landing poorly just lay down and crash. Dont fight it.But one on the ground lift the feet up to avoid the skis catching the snow and potentially hurting you.
I have trouble while grinding because I catch an edge and was wondering if anyone had any tips
Use a fine metal file and round the edge under the ski binding.
It will not be good for skiing on icy slopes but we gotta sacrifice that as freestyle skiers.
what skis do you use for freestyle
Atomic, Ben 90 mostly and occasionally 100.
Can you tell me what brand and model your yellow jacket is?
E11 is the brand, don't know the model
looks like Bec de Rosses XI from E11
Yes thats the one.
@@StompItTutorialsHi to everyone from Los Angeles. Mammoth Mountain is my go to mountain here in California. Thanks for responding to my question. This is a great channel. Imagine in the 1970’s the ski patrol would pull your ticket if you did any jumping. I love this channel. I wish they had this kind of channel in the 1970’s when I learned to ski. At 66 years of age now I would love to learn to do a 360. Be cool is you had a camp in the western United States.
Right there with ya! 40 years of skiing and I still dream of pulling a 360! Gotta keep up with my kids!@@dphotos007
Ayo bro, thanks alot for your vids
Ayo bro thank you for watching and appreciation.
My right leg is dominant and I find that 360s are easier to spin to the right. Is this normal for others?
Hey, yes for most skiers I know they have a preferred side. Not sure how much it has to do with which leg is stronger though, as you need to pop evenly off both to do the 3.
whos watching this on a ski lift ?
No me to cold at the moment.

Tried to do a 3 yesterday, ended up being a 180 nose butter 😂
Pop more to not nose butter, or tuck to un wobble it.
i think i can do it but my shoes weith so much!!4
I can 540 and 180 on almost any jump, but with 360's I've been struggling for about 2 years now...
I bet its the same issue?
i bet i could 360 some skis first try.
Good luck.
Btw perpendicular is 90* what you are thinking is parallel
The skis are parallel to the landing. The body 90° = perpendicular.
I dont care if the skis are parallel that much as you can easily make em so by bending the knee.
Great tutorials but have to concentrate on the speaking so much due to excessively loud background music. Tone it down please
Sorry
