I have no desire to transition, but for at least a couple decade have been very intrigued by those who have transitioned or prefer to live as non-binary. I believe that I have a naturally androgynous voice. I work in a call center and I often have some of the people I get calls from thinking I'm female. Another call center job I worked from 2002-2006, there was this one time when I told someone I was putting them on hold, but we just muted the phone and I heard my caller say the another person that I sounded androgynous. Just a few weeks ago I got my auto insurance policy renewal and noticed that policy was for a female driver. The insurance agent that wrote my policy only talked to me on the phone, we never met in person.
Finally purchased some jewelry this last week and immediately thought of you. I'm pretty much using you as a template to build my style 😄 every time I watch one of your vids I feel like I get a little bit closer to finally getting that nose piercing. 😆 thanks for being visible and sharing tips like these!

I feel this alot, struggling to find tips, and also struggling with sensory issues with makeup/ tight clothes so I mainly just wear mens clothes which ends up feeling very dysphoric
Just yesterday, I was so sick I could barely speak when I woke up in the morning, but a couple of butterscotch candies later, I sounded so androgynous that my own brother couldn't have guessed my assigned gender. I'm AMAB, but I basically sounded like a tomboy, and it triggered such euphoria... and I thought I was transfem. I'm getting my voice back (though that phrase feels backward now), and I feel like I've lost my true love before getting to meet them.
Aw that makes perfect sense! I’m glad you were able to experience having a voice that felt like yours, even if it was something that was short-lived. That makes a lot of sense about feeling like you’ve lost your first true love before getting to meet them. Would you be open to voice training? Maybe you could alter your voice in a way that resonates with you more than the voice you have at the moment. Sending love 💛

I've heard of people hiring a transgender voice therapist and getting amazing results. It kind of reminds me of learning French or some other language, you can only do so much with apps. Tbh I didn't even know what clubbed fingers were so personally I wouldn't have even thought to notice.
Oh interesting I didn’t realize there were therapists that could help with that! And thank you for the comment about the clubbed fingers. I didn’t really think other people noticed/paid attention to them but I still felt weird about my hands for a while until I started painting my nails and buying rings

I get that. When I first came out (I originally came out as a trans woman) I used to wear lipstick and dresses a lot and it didn’t feel right at all. Makeup can be tricky as well and time consuming (not to mention expensive) so there’s nothing wrong with being “lazy” and not doing your makeup. You’re valid regardless 😊
I am male but very androgynous so I question who I am a lot but I just feel like I understand both sides. I just feel both but born male and I like girls so it just feels weird finding who I am… if any one else have this feeling please shoot a comment or refer a group

Firstly I want to say thank you for putting yourself out there and helping others that are also going through any sort of transition along the spectrum. I have a partner that is Transfemme/Non-binary and their dysphoria has been pretty bad this past week. It has been hard for them especially when I've misunderstood and that can turn into upsetting us both. I think me being cisgender doesn't help sometimes and can make it worse with my lack of understanding and I am trying to educate myself and understand more so I can be more mindful. I'm hoping by watching some videos and doing some research I'll be able to support them better through their transition stages they go through.
It makes me so happy to see that you’re going out of your way to understand trans people. Your partner is very lucky to have someone like you. I know it can be frustrating sometimes for both parties (I went through a period of that with my ex girlfriend, she’s cis and it took a while for her to really understand my dysphoria and how that played out etc) but I’m so thankful that you’re taking the time to try and understand her experience. Personally, I found my name through a video game. Games that Toby Fox made have been a major centerpiece of my childhood and whenever i heard the name Kris, i thought, that is a cool name. I didn't know that i would be using it! I love it so much! Please take inspiration from anything that you hold dear to you!
I love that! I wish I had a cool story for where I got my name. I just heard the name when I was like 10 or 11 and loved it, and eventually made it my own! And my middle name-I had 3 options and I asked my best friend which one she liked best and she chose Avery (which I’m really happy about, because the other two were more feminine names rather than androgynous)
EVERYONE I SWEAR AHAH even when i had long hair people misunderstood me as a boy :) like- one day i was walking and then a student came to me like "Mister , this is the police r you selling drugs?"(as a joke-) and i was SO CONFUSED One day i was dressing feminine and ppl where staring at me and one of them said "wtf mate we don't even know if she's a girl or he's a boy" and i wanted to tell that even if your dressing feminine , it's all in the attitude , energy , posing. And you can finish it with dressing :)

I have a relatively small chest tho so maybe it’s different for bigger chested people I’m not sure. But if you get the right size I’m pretty sure it shouldn’t hurt (they should have a sizing chart on the website you go to order them from. I think mine was a gc2b binder I think and I got a large I think)
Yup! Technically non binary falls under the trans umbrella (anyone who doesn’t identify with their assigned gender at birth), but a lot of non binary people don’t use the term transgender for themselves. For me I use the term because I’ve been medically transitioning for about 6 years, and it’s a term that resonates with me. And not that medically transitioning makes me more valid than someone who doesn’t, but it does make my experience parallel in a lot of ways to a large portion of stereotypical/binary trans people. Hope that makes sense! 😊

I just take trnas masc tips and apply them to myself and since I still look like a fuckin girl it kinda neutralizes it
