It is said that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Interesting how many of the passages to Black Space involve doing just that.
The sad thing is, Sunny’ve probably done this a few dozen times over the last 4 years too. If we assume each cycle, and it doesn’t have to be, this is only a conjecture, is 3 days, hundreds of times isn’t exactly an unreasonable number.
365 x 4 + 1 (leap year) / 3 = 487 times, give or take some depending on when in the year he started doing this dreaming and when in the current year it is.
Aubrey v Aubrey fighting is not only the most anime thing but was a nice relief from the unsettlingness of BS2. Its cool that you can access it this way I like to imagine someone getting it on accident and being totally confused though I don't know how to get the universal remote
Donating 50 pieces of garbage to the Recycling Machine will give you access to the remote. The fastest way to get the remote is: 0. Make sure you are sufficiently leveled up so the process can be as efficient as possible. I find levels 7 - 10 to be good enough to run away consistently from enemies. 1. Find an enemy in the Junkyard. 2. Kel will dig in the trash, and 1/8 of the time, he will end up with a CAN. 3. Run from the battle. 4. Open the menu by pressing X. Close the menu by pressing X. Doing this negates the cooldown that appears after running from an enemy. 5. Interact with the enemy again. 6. Battle initiates once again. Repeat the process. With this method, I was able to get enough CANs for the recycling machine in about 1.5 to 2 hours or so. Good luck!
I think the most disturbing area out of all Black Space 2 is the Beach Area after the reset. All of Sunny’s dark thoughts (the NPC’s with names such as “Null” and “Empty”) are hidden here, dead. He repressed them until they “died”, but still lingering in his mind.
@@Dhalin I think it's supposed to be represented as repression though because those creatures gave insight about MARI and when OMORI reset headspace, he didn't want anything that knew about the truth to be anywhere, effectively killing them.
That is what good atmosphere mean. Literally nothing is happening in black space, but still you *waiting for something to happen* , it feels even more creepy without screamers and you think like "this game wasn't yell at me for quite a while, so this would be a perfect moment"
5:15 in this static room, wait after it gets dark and if you wait another while there'll appear many open doors at the upper edge. One of them is a closed black door that leads to the docks ! i couldn’t find any documentation on this connected paths, my sister found it :0
if you don’t go through the door however there’ll be a creature that walks towards you. Once it touches you, you get teleportated back to the Mole's village.

I really love how all of these teleports go from happy cheerful places with fitting upbeat music to just a dark void of suppressed random thought. It's almost funny to see that you could just casually look at a TV and BOOM blackspace
I remember at 22:45 the new NPCs in the beach area all came from Deeper Well, with them probably being killed and moved to Black Space because of how close Deeper Well is to Sunny’s subconscious memories. I think.
Good thing this all hasn't been the main emphasis of the game, Black Space in the main game feels weird, but at the same time this weirdness works so well, you've been playing an odd RPG and boom - you're running in a maze with strange music while a body of your friend lies near; and a lot of these pieces give you the actual lore that you could only understand if you playing a second time. But these and Hikikomori things are just... Nothing more than weird, sometimes creepy, maybe funny easter eggs, cool that there's that much of secrets, but... Only "Mari is home" for me is actually a good secret, this room definitely is something more
Actually, I think it means is that if an entity from headspace stays in black space for too long, they turn into a Something variant. You couldn't see it in this video, but I saw them turn into Something in my own playthrough.

If you live like a good Samaritan and open the door for old Kel, you won’t even be able to get any of these except for Date with Aubrey (and Heaven/Hell). Chances are, you did open the door :).

Let me explain: You can prematurely enter Black Space only through the giant TV with the Universal Remote on Omori after having defeated Humphrey and through standing on the sewer grate in Sweetheart’s Castle (though those areas are loosely considered as Black Space). Every other areas can be accessed after having “saved” Basil in the Omori Route - two of those areas, the Junkyard and Sprout Mole Colony, also require you to have the Universal Remote equipped on Omori. In a nutshell, these areas can be accessed only after exploring the original Black Space. These secret entrances serve as unique re-entry points to Black Space should you want to revisit it, while also putting some new content on the table. Each of these entry points are available once per save. Once you use one, you cannot use it again so remember to have a save ready if you want to reactivate the teleports sometimes after.
Y'know what i really like about sweethesrts garden teleport its that its still part of the castle like you can still see all the sporut moles cutting the vines and the music still plays as if sweethearts castle is just an entirely different part of blackspace it would make sense since sunny doesn't really like sweetheart
[spoilers ahead] Considering the fact that this entrance is only available after you've reset Headspace, I feel like it's more like Black Space is leaking further in. Prior to this, we can see Something in the thorns, so maybe this was already a weak point between Headspace and the underside - maybe the out-of-control vines have something to do with it?

Hey! I'm doing the Hikkimori and I was wondering if I could access to the Town Area since there lies the R.I.P. achievement which i'm looking forward to obtain. I've tried going back and forth but the black cab won't appear :(
It happens 1/10 times every time you boot up the game, I think. So make a save file near there and close, re-open the game until you get it. Shouldn’t take long.
So, what's with the telescope teleport? Is it RNG based or a set amount of times you have to interact with it? And does it work on Sunny route? Same for the other ones, are the teleports that don't have universal remote required all available on Sunny route?
the telescope one is random, with a very low chance. most of these only work on the omori route after resetting headspace, but the glowing grate in sweetheart's castle works in sunny route. the one with the doll in the last resort works in the sunny route too, but only after you've beaten humphrey.

are these teleports available at only specific points in the game or are they available whenever you get to them? edit: i know there are some that require the universal remote, but i really mean some of the others, like the one with the telescope in sweetheart's castle, for example
the only one that works on normal route before beating humphrey is the glowing red grate in sweetheart's castle (also works on omori route, but sends you to red space instead!). after beating humphrey, a few new entrances become available: tv girl's house with universal remote and the doll in last resort. also, when you're already in black space on the normal route, there are also 2 secret entrances to black space 2, so you can go to bs2 on the normal route too :) the rest are only available on the omori route after resetting headspace!

Wait I dont understand In my playthorugh I was able to get every ending from that one spot saved where you fight omori as sunny And I had a save spot at basils house that I had saved. But in lots of these it will say like "TRUE ROUTE" even though I didnt take a specific route and I got every single ending? Please help me understand how this works cause I think Im stupid right now
There is a different route you can take by not answering the door for Kel. It is essentially an expanded headspace with new content. However, once you leave headspace on the final day it plays out the same way it would if you leave basils house or sleep instead of saving him.
most of them are, but the sweetheart's castle grate entrance can be used on the sunny route with no special requirements. the last resort doll can also be done on sunny route after beating humphrey and the aubrey fight one can be done immediately if you have the universal remote item on any route
the grate in sweetheart's castle can be used immediately on either route. the one by tv girl's house can also be done immediately once you have the universal remote item. the doll in the last resort can be activated on the sunny route after beating humphrey, or on the omori route after resetting headspace. all the other teleports are activated by resetting headspace on the omori route :)
a few of them require you to do certain things first, like for the beach one you need to interact with the seashell multiple times. but aside from that, most of them are luck-based (the black cab has a 10% chance of appearing, the telescope has a very low chance to teleport you every time you interact with it, etc)

okay so the one door that something was telling sunny i love you...i jumped in and kinda got into a billion other doors and now everything is grey and static and i have an option to stab but i dont wna

Hey! I'm doing the Hikkimori and I was wondering if I could access to the Town Area since there lies the R.I.P. achievement which i'm looking forward to obtain. I've tried going back and forth but the black cab won't appear :(
It happens 1/10 times every time you boot up the game, I think. So make a save file near there and close, re-open the game until you get it. Shouldn’t take long.

So, what's with the telescope teleport? Is it RNG based or a set amount of times you have to interact with it? And does it work on Sunny route? Same for the other ones, are the teleports that don't have universal remote required all available on Sunny route?
the telescope one is random, with a very low chance. most of these only work on the omori route after resetting headspace, but the glowing grate in sweetheart's castle works in sunny route. the one with the doll in the last resort works in the sunny route too, but only after you've beaten humphrey.
How do you go to the garden blackspace? I'm doing Hikikomori route and I only see Something in the bushes.
Keep spamming that spot. You will be teleported outside the garden within a minute or two.

How do the entrances get activated exactly? I’ve tried some of them and they don’t seem to work.
Most of these are on the OMORI route, so being on the SUNNY route won’t work for most of these, that’s the most I can do to help.
Also you need the universal remote for some of these too
are these teleports available at only specific points in the game or are they available whenever you get to them?
edit: i know there are some that require the universal remote, but i really mean some of the others, like the one with the telescope in sweetheart's castle, for example
the only one that works on normal route before beating humphrey is the glowing red grate in sweetheart's castle (also works on omori route, but sends you to red space instead!). after beating humphrey, a few new entrances become available: tv girl's house with universal remote and the doll in last resort. also, when you're already in black space on the normal route, there are also 2 secret entrances to black space 2, so you can go to bs2 on the normal route too :)
the rest are only available on the omori route after resetting headspace!

Are there some deleted entrances on console? I can’t enter any otherworld entrances, sweetheart garden vines and telescope.
Some of these dont work and/or doesn’t have clear instructions on how to get there

In my playthorugh I was able to get every ending from that one spot saved where you fight omori as sunny
And I had a save spot at basils house that I had saved. But in lots of these it will say like "TRUE ROUTE" even though I didnt take a specific route and I got every single ending?

There is a different route you can take by not answering the door for Kel. It is essentially an expanded headspace with new content. However, once you leave headspace on the final day it plays out the same way it would if you leave basils house or sleep instead of saving him.

most of them are, but the sweetheart's castle grate entrance can be used on the sunny route with no special requirements. the last resort doll can also be done on sunny route after beating humphrey and the aubrey fight one can be done immediately if you have the universal remote item on any route

the grate in sweetheart's castle can be used immediately on either route. the one by tv girl's house can also be done immediately once you have the universal remote item. the doll in the last resort can be activated on the sunny route after beating humphrey, or on the omori route after resetting headspace.
all the other teleports are activated by resetting headspace on the omori route :)
a few of them require you to do certain things first, like for the beach one you need to interact with the seashell multiple times. but aside from that, most of them are luck-based (the black cab has a 10% chance of appearing, the telescope has a very low chance to teleport you every time you interact with it, etc)

@@walkingridgeghost no, these are just cool secrets :) you can get the same endings on hikikomori route and sunny route, except you can only get the true ending on sunny route. there is no special hikikomori ending, unfortunately :(

At some point Omori stop being something and transforms into Yume Nikki, atleast we got a lot to do in the game even after finish it
