    Entertaining, educational, excellent editing and voice over. If this guy can make empty Oklahoma towns look interesting. . . .He's got talent.

    Some years ago we drove across the panhandle from Dumas to Colorado. I was amazed. I need to go back with a tent and some fishing gear.

    I would actually like to move to Cimarron County in the panhandle at some point, I like to say that it's the last frontier of oklahoma

      If you can find a job or are retired, it would be an interesting place to live.

    Nice job on the video! 64 hiway is my favorite way to go west, not crowded but the people you do see wave. It takes a hardy soul to live in an area like the pan handle, God bless the people who do.

      Highway 64 is nice. There aren't as many trucks as the main road. You are right - it takes a hardy soul to live there!

      There isn't a lot to do in the Panhandle :) It was really fun actually.

    I would like to point out a couple of things. You passed through Turpin and made no mention of the town. It's actually divided up in 2 locations. One at the junction of 64 & 83, a convenience store, post office, and most important, a very nice school ! Very competitive in all aspects of a Pre-K through 12 school. I'm sure the people would have appreciated the coverage. The rest of the town is located near the Kansas border following U.S Highway 83. There you will find a few more businesses such as wrecker service, car dealership, oil well services, etc. Some might say it is on the outskirts of Liberal, KS. . . . . you also missed a few others just south of Turpin, Adams & Baker. Plus a few other towns west of Guymon. Goodwell and Oklahoma Panhandle State University, Felt, going into New Mexico . . . .The pronunciation of Boise City is not like Boise, Idaho. The "e" is silent, think "boys". . . . . I enjoyed living out there, it is something different.

    Curious what drone you were using. Have been in that area several times. The bombing of Boise City was alway interesting

      I use a DJI mini2. I got it at Costco for cheap but it takes great video and is easy to fly. I had never heard of the Bombing of Boise City - Thanks for sharing.

      OK, but is that along the line of the English word "boy" or a quasi-French-like "bwah"?

    • @Oshuskey
      @Oshuskey 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yup there's no boys-E like Boise, Idaho, it's just pronounces boys(boise) city

      NOT,….
      BOISE, sounds like choice, at least 105 years ago when my great uncle Jim showed up, couple years later, showed up dead, robbed and tied to his horse, which returned to the dugout,

    Oklahoma is not the wild west.

      Have you been to the Panhandle?

    • @zachvanarsdale7065
      @zachvanarsdale7065 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +8

      WESTERN Oklahoma IS the wild west 110%, eastern Oklahoma is the south. There’s a big difference between the two.

      @zachvanarsdale7065 I live in eastern Oklahoma ( midway down the state line) and while we have native culture we also identify as the south. I do love going to western Oklahoma and I think it's beautiful. If anywhere in America is the wild west, western Oklahoma is it😊

    Interesting video, so you toured the Midwest and looked for everything negative you could find... You're quite a guy.
