really glad you posted this, can see hints of this story in The Clan of the Cave Bear which I was also grateful to be able listen to. Great voice work too. I expect anyone who doesn't appreciate the mammoth task and art of reading aloud and recording a book has not done it themselves😅 love this pre history survivalist type topic. The mention of medicinal plants (a key theme in Clan of the Cave Bear) is one of the fascinations for me. HG Wells' perception of how a good woman should be had me smiling in a way only a woman who stood strong alone all her life would smile. Art, history and imagination in harmony. 🔥👍

No science fiction writer or even a physicist can reasonably get me to consider time travel possible. Then there is H.G. Wells and I can think of no other explanation for his works.
